Dirt and grime not cleaned up from a deep cleaning

Really hate leaving reviews like this especially with local businesses Issues: I scheduled a DEEP clean for a 2 bedroom for Tuesday at 9am (because that's the time they said they had available when I inquired) and they showed up Monday at 9am (I wasn't home) so I rushed home to let them in The woman was working for 4 hours and she really did her best to clean but I could tell she was tired. The floors were not mopped and neither were the baseboards. The cabinets weren't cleaned. When we are talking about a DEEP CLEAN, and you're paying for it, it should be a deep clean. I reached out directly to management to tell them to make sure the floors were cleaned, to which they confirmed they were (I would have told the woman, but she didn't understand what I was saying) I spent an extra 2 hours mopping up the floors and cleaning the baseboards. When I gave my feedback, managements response was for them to come back the next day. No thank you. I told him I was already cleaning the floors. Then they offered a partial refund (we won't give her the tip you left her, and we'll give you 10% off) the woman did work hard and she deserved the tip. What you should've done was take the entire pay cut. This is clearly a management issue. First off, don't send just 1 person to do a deep clean of a house. If you only have 1 person, you should be rescheduling. Also, check your scheduling - clearly you have things mixed up. Second off, 10% off for this person missing a quarter of the work is not a way to make even. Praise: The woman cleaned the hell out of the oven. Best part of the cleaning. She was kind, and she put in work. I wish she had a 2nd person to help her. I will never hire this company again.

Easily one of the best decisions I've made when getting our house ready to sell. My husband messaged and was quickly with a quote and availability. Super easy to select services. Two of the nicest, most efficient and hard working ladies showed up to clean our home. I am beyond grateful to Sandra and Ludmilla for the amazing job they did on my home. I have never seen it so clean. Attention to detail is an understatement!! Everything and I mean everything was sparkling and clean. Not one surface, crack or corner was left untouched! Society tells us that we're supposed to adhere to certain gender roles, "women cook and men clean." That may apply to some, but not for all. Thankfully, our society is starting to break away from these "norms" and I can proudly say that I enjoy gardening and have never enjoyed cleaning (nor can I honestly say that I'm good at it and have the time for it). Thankfully, there are businesses that cater to folks who prefer to enjoy a nice cold adult beverage, while someone does the dirty work (literally). After doing some intense research, my wife found BR Performance Cleaning. After communicating with the owner by discussing the areas that needed to be cleaned, my wife was able to quickly secure a quote and appointment. The following day the cleaning crew arrived with positive attitudes and ready to clean! What was so awesome about this experience is that the crew needed no instruction from us. Therefore, we technically could have left our home and ran errands as they cleaned. Four hours later the crew was done cleaning our 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home. To say that they did a great job would be an understatement. The crew did a thorough job of cleaning our stove (a major point of concern for my wife), the grout on our kitchen floor, the high ceilings in our house, our showers and bath tubs that we can never quite clean ourselves, kitchen sink, etc. They even folded my son's comfort blankets into little bows (he likes it so much that he doesn't want to unfold it to use it), and perfectly (and respectfully) folded my collection of Kobe remembrance magazines! I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a thorough deep clean to check out BR Performance Cleaning. There is nothing like the airy vibe of a clean home! You know the saying, "Clean House, Happy Spouse (I honestly don't believe in these silly sayings)!"

With Lunar New Year coming up, I decided to get our entire house cleaned so we didn't have to worry about it and after some researching (and hesitation), I finally pulled the plug and decided to give BR cleaning a shot. I couldn't give them a 5 star for a few things. The good: I was expecting 2 people, but a team of 4 arrived which was AMAZING for me because they finished sooner! I inspected most of the rooms and pointed out some flaws to the main person and she THOROUGHLY cleaned it herself, which gave me a peace of mind. The team were all masked, professional and VERY friendly, even to my dog who barked like a maniac! The did an overall good job. They spent a total of 4.5 hours as planned but before I could do a thorough check of the kitchen they were already out door. They also folded all the blankets in cute ways, including the toilet papers... It was a nice touch! Loved it! The bad: although they should up in a team of 4 instead of 2, for the price I paid, I was expecting a more thorough job and not having to point out obvious flaws... example 1: main bathroom, there were blue cleaning streaks on the toilet flush tank/cover and there were still dust on top of the cover. I pointed these flaws out and the main person (I think Camille) thoroughly cleaned it but I felt like those kinds of details should've been caught by the person cleaning and not by me, however, Camille went above and beyond and not only cleaned those two spots, she also spent an extra 20 mins deep cleaning the tiles since it was missed by the other cleaner. Example 2: Same with our master bedroom bathroom.. obvious flaws, like dust and dirt where the window is. Also, in our bedroom, the fire place wasn't wiped down, which Camille ended up cleaned. The shower also wasn't completely wiped down, no biggie, I used my magic eraser and did a quick wipe as I forgot to mention this to them. Example 3: There were also marks left on our sink from a cleaning tool they used to scrub the sink.. I used the magic eraser to clean it up, as the team had already packed up and was out the door. I also noticed they didn't wipe down the dishwasher like they were supposed to. Also, the oven bulb broke as they were cleaning it, and one of the BR reps had texted me a picture about it but didn't offer to replace or apologize.. so not sure if it was my fault or theirs?? Anyways, overall, I think they did a great job, but I didn't give them a 5 stars because there were a few obvious misses that they should've caught themselves. I'm not too sure if I'll use them again for a deep clean because I can't imagine 2 people doing our entire house in the same amount of time as thoroughly as I would like.. I was definitely lucky this time with a team of 4! But I do recommend them for a regular cleaning! I think a deep cleaning requires more time.

Hired for a move out deep clean for a 4/4 house. Couldn't be more satisfied with the service. It took 2 cleaners 8 hours to leave a pretty dirty house squeaky clean. Pet hair was gone. Even the hard water stains that's really tough to get out, were gone. Will hire again. read more

I have used BR performance Cleaning twice for move out cleaning, and they always did a fabulous job. But yesterday I used them for the first time for a regular house cleaning. I was looking for a deep cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen. They were above and beyond! Two very friendly ladies had me show them around and then jumped right in. They detail cleaned extremely well from the bathtub to the coffee pot. They walked me around after to make sure I was happy with certain organizing they did. I was very happy! Nice people, but no one in the cleaning crew that showed up spoke English. One guy had a translation device so he could speak to me but he didn't understand my answers. They ended up doing things I did not need (hung bath towels with fancy fold and put a point on the toilet paper like hotels) and did not spending enough time on things that were important to me. The vacuum they brought was not up to the job. The wood floors had streaks and filmy residue. They spent much longer (6 hours) than other workers i've had, but the house was not as clean. Too bad. The carpet cleaner was much more competent, and did a good job.. read more

Five stars x2!!! Patricia and the young lady with her (didn't catch her name) did an amazing job on a deep clean. They cleaned EVERYTHING, way more than I was expecting. I've hired house cleaners in the past that were always just okay. This was the first time my house was cleaned with so much attention to detail. My kitchen is sparkly white again! They were both very friendly and professional. Bonus points because my dog even liked them. One of the best house cleaning services that I've used by far! I've tried probably 5 to 6 different house cleaning companies in the last 3 months and I can say that BR performance cleaning has turned out to be the best of all. I had guests coming over and simply went on yelp and contacted the company based on only 3 reviews(which were all 5 stars btw) and I am so thankful I chose them. They agreed to come to my house at a short notice. The ladies were punctual and were extremely detail-oriented. They went after every nook and cranny in my apartment and cleaned for roughly 3 hours even though I only have a two bedroom two bath apartment. Very impressed with their level of care and attention and I plan on using them for future as well. Thank you BR for excellent service today!! read more

What a great experience! This company was able to schedule me in on short notice for a "move out" cleaning, and then was able to CHANGE the day on my request with short notice (24hours). The cleaner arrived on time was was extremely professional. The timing coincided with my son's basketball practice and they allowed me to pay early so I didn't have to rush back. When I did get back, the house looked spectacular. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. To keep this review short. I reached out to BR Performance Cleaning for a post construction cleaning, which is a more indepth cleaning than a deep clean. I was emailed a post construction cleaning for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath with a patio was 3-4 hours with 3-4 people. On the day of the cleaning 2 cleaners showed up, 30 minutes late, had no idea they had to perform a post construction cleaning, and the worst part is that I could not communicate with them to discuss what is to be cleaned because they speak Portuguese and I speak English. I wish I could speak Portuguese but in no way could I communicate with them. When I reached out to speak to a manager, I was told I would be getting a call back. With the cleaners just standing there waiting for 10 minutes as I waited, I received no call, therefore I just asked them to leave. The communication and the service provided was below mediocre. $300 is not for a cheap clean. Having to move back in there next day, I was extremely disappointed but was able to find cleaning the morning of the move in date. I would find another cleaner. read more

This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

I would have happily scheduled the carpet installer at the same time so he could inform you how easy it was to remove these "impossible stains". Knew exactly what to do without much direction from us like cleaning out gunky stuff from the bathroom tile grout.
