The food was delicious, and there were a lot of great options on the menu. Prices were what you'd expect for this type of restaurant, and we thought everything was well worth it. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the whole place had a great vibe. We were really impressed with Oaky's Tavern and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Interlochen area. It just had that simple balance of fatty fragrance and crunchy bite. The Seafood Omelette ($26) was also really, really nice. The portion of seafood was genuinely generous: I counted at least three scallops, four shrimp, and mouthful after mouthful of lobster folded into a provolone béchamel. Scoop up a piece with the toasted focaccia and it's hard to imagine a better way to start the morning. Service was prompt and the room was cozy and unpretentious.
