I had my carbon monoxide detector alarm go off. I thought it must be too old 7 years... So I went and purchased a new one. 2 weeks later the new one sounded the alarm. I was thinking it was my gas stove because all the cooking I was doing for Thanksgiving! Next day I was talking to my next-door neighbor about my stove, and she said I've been smelling gas every once and awhile for a couple years... I thought hmmmm, called PGE and found out it wasn't my stove it was my Heating/AC unit... Called Roy on Friday and he called back and said he would be there Saturday morning at 9:30. He and an associate were right on time. They inspected my whole system and all the duct work. He sent me a quote via email that Saturday evening. You talk about service and professionalism I was so impressed about them I said yes right away. Monday morning I sent him a text asking if he had any updates on the install. He said they would be at my house at 8:00 am Friday and be finished by 2 or 3 pm! My unit was 18 years old and the cheapest I could get back then. My family returned from a trip to a Alaska to 105 degree temperatures and no air conditioner. The temperature inside the house was 94 degrees and climbing. I called Bradshaw and spoke with Roy. He assured me that he would be out that evening. I was skeptical since it was so hot and I was sure he was busier than usual. They show up around 6pm, earlier than expected, and quickly assessed the problem but wouldn't have the parts until the next morning. Right on time the next morning the parts were replaced and the house was back to cool. At no time did they try and upsell me on maintenance agreements or other parts. Our 2 year old AC suddenly went out on 7/18. Husband at the time was on day 3 of COVID unfortunately. We reached out to Carrier's preferred vendors and even though they likely didn't need to come in the house to diagnose the AC issue, they refused to come out. My husband reached out to this company (as he was a previous client of his) and they agreed to come out, which was awesome. They didn't set foot in the house and social distanced. This was great, however, they refuse to submit a claim to Carrier on our behalf since it's still under warranty because they are not contracted with them. We knew they weren't contracted but aren't even attempting to help us submit a claim. This is a huge bummer and bad customer service. read more

We don't use our A/C very often because we have a killer Whole House fan, so when the Sacramento Heat finally hit at the end of May, we knew it was time to turn on the AC. Low and Behold - our A/C system wouldn't turn on, so my husband called Bradshaw Heating & Air to come take a loot at it. Roy said they couldn't come out that day (as it was 100 degrees and he had a busy schedule), so he would come out the next day. Well, his schedule opened up and he was able to come out the same afternoon. After trying for almost an hour to fix our system, it was determined to be dead (we have an old house, and knew the day was coming). So, he gave us a reasonable quote to replace the whole system the following week. We have no complaints. Roy and his team are very professional and we appreciated their willingness to work with us and get everything done! Our AC unit was not working, and I contacted Bradshaw Heating & Air for a service call. He was quick to respond and with his diagnosis. Our AC is about 24 years old, and he found that all the coils had been rusted. He laid out all the options and was fair with the pricing. It was not a simple repair, and so the cost of replacing parts vs installation system comes closer. Alas, our trusty AC has comes to its end! When we decided to do a new installation, we considered more expensive equipment to qualify for rebates. Roy was honest about what he thought was best and did not try to upsell us, which made us felt he was on our side. A couple days later, Roy and his team were ready to install the new unit. The installation and haul away was all within the day. They were thorough and did good work. Roy also kept me updated on every step, so the entire process was very smooth.
