Bradshaws is my new favorite place. The appetizers are fantastic and the live entertainment is really great. Lots of proffessionals hang out here and there is absolutely no drama thanks to professional security. I highly recommend Friday nights for live entertainment. This is the casual neighborhood bar I've been looking for! We stopped by on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to see they were doing Trivia & offering 1/2 price wings as well as several drink specials! How fun! They participate in CLT Taco Week so we of course had to try those. The turkey burnt ends taco was delicious and full of flavor! I really hope they add that one to the menu long term. We also tried the wings, fries and fatbread. I goofed and thought fatbread on the menu was a typo, and was supposed to say fLatbread, but NO! This was a square deep dish style pizza. It was good! But I probably wouldn't order it again. I loved their fries and they have the *good ranch*. I docked one star because it took absolutely forever to get our food. Hanging out with my brothers and this is where they chose to go (I was just the designated driver). When we arrived there was music playing and people dancing. I found a spot to sit where I could ppl watch and keep an eye on them (like when we were growing up). It ended up being a great spot because when the band came on I could see the stage. That's where I remained the whole night. The band was really good and had ppl dancing the entire night. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the number of dirty drink glasses that were left sitting on the table and I never saw a server. So the more ppl drank, the more those dirty glasses got knocked over and drinks spilled on the floor and the table. No one seemed to care but me tho. read more

I am truly disgusted by the staff at Bradshaw. My first time going there, I didn't have any complaints about the food or the service but unfortunately, I left a very expensive umbrella on a hook under the bar. I realized it' two days later and called Bradshaw. I spoke with a female there who was so nasty,rude and put out that I asked her to check to see if my umbrella had been turned in. I told her I left it on a hook under the bar and asked her if she could take a look, she refused to look she stated if you had left it there we would have found it and I asked again. Could you just take a look? She refused again and said if it was there, we would have found it. I replied well I know I left it there. She replied well it's not there now. She was so put out that I asked her to check for my umbrella and just refused to assist me in anyway. I was so aggravated. I decided to drive to the bar myself. I went up to the bar and asked for a manager. I explained to him that I had called earlier and spoke with a very nasty rude female, who basically refused to check for my umbrella he turned around, walked the other side of the bar, picked my umbrella up and handed it to me. No apologies nothing I said to him she told me it wasn't here. He said what's done is done I'll talk to her. He couldn't care less. This is a perfect example of an establishment that that sees no value in serving their patrons other than accepting their money it's sad and disgraceful. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that when it comes to sports bars, the Ballantyne area is all about quantity over quality. Ratings wise, it seems that 3 out of 5 stars, characterized by average food, atmosphere and service being the norm, but Bradshaws fails to live up to even these meager expectations, as service is slow at best and inattentive at worse, while both the atmosphere and the food can be described as bland at best and uninspiring at worst. I will admit that they have a core group of regulars that apparently enjoy whatever they seek and find here, but for me, the area has far too many better options to settle for a yelp 2.5 star location. read more

Very chill atmosphere, definitely a place to hang with the game. Service was very relaxed and friendly! Wasn't pushy with trying to sell anything, gave us genuine feedback on what to order. The food was okay. We started with the buffalo chicken ragoons (wontons) they were good, nothing spectacular but good, I'd order them again. I got the fried avocado tacos and my husband got a asian shrimp salad. Both of these were a bit lack luster. My tacos were boring no cheese, no lettuce, no onions. Just a swipe of sour cream and diced tomatoes. The sweet potato fries were also covered in cinnamon sugar, so they were rather sweet. The salad dressing was the best part of my husband's salad. The shrimp seemed fresh enough and the salad was boring. Just mixed greens, peppers, and cucumbers. I'd come again but maybe stick to the appetizers and bar food. read more

Bradshaw Social House is kind of undercover, just chillin in a small shopping center. You would never realize that a fairly cool spot like this was in the area. The service was pretty slow but that seems to be normal these days so I don't worry about it too much if everything else is good. Came in on a Monday night for football and sat in the patio area. We sat for about 10+ minutes and no one tended to us, so I had to seek someone out. Granted, it was busier inside, so I guess that's why we went unnoticed. Anyway, the server McKensie was nice when she came around. No complaints about her. They have plenty of TVs around to view games, and atmosphere is decent. But they played music the whole time the game was on. I didn't like that. It's a SPORTS BAR. And during Monday Night Football, when there is only one game on, we should have the audio of the game. It was on every TV, so why no audio?? They also kept it a bit dark on the inside though. I held a lunch and learn on the covered patio here for about 20 people. It went great. I set up the event, food & drinks with Brandi a few weeks prior and Bridget served us on event day. The food was perfect and right on time. I was able to use one of their tv's via hdmi cable to give my presentation. First off let me be clear by saying my 1 star rating is purely based on my interaction with the staff at the front door. I live very close to Bradshaw's so it was the logical choice when my cousin and I wanted to meet up for a few drinks. I was highly upset that they took my drivers license and scanned it for "whatever reason". Then they asked us for my email address & phone number. We politely rejected in giving that info so they said it would be a $2.00 cover charge. I was like WTF! All we wanted to do is go to the bar to drink but they would not let us enter. It's really not the $2.00, Now I had been to this spot at least 2 times prior a year or so ago. Excellent service for our first visit. From the moment we arrived the bouncer checking ID helped us choose a table and noticed our seat of choice needed a bit of cleaning. He didn't wait for someone else he took the initiative to clean it himself. Our waitress was equally attentive providing solid recommendations. We had the dozen wings (typical bar food that tasted just fine) / cheese steak egg rolls (first time I has them anywhere and loved it. It has a nice balance of cheese and meat wrapped by the standard egg roll wrap) / Ribs were amazing! Our waitress described it as a specialty since the chefs used to own a BBQ place. I'm a regular at Bradshaw's. I'm there a couple times a week after work, and I'm usually there until right before close. The bands on Thursdays and the weekend are always really good and the drinks are solid. However, tonight, I had my phone stolen off the table that I was at a majority of the night. And when I was looking for it, I had a waitress screaming at me about messing up the patio while looking for my phone. Then, I was treated like another drunk, who had too much, when I know my limits, by the bouncers. I wasn't even allowed to go back inside to talk to James and see if my phone had been turned in. The bartenders, like Bri and James, are really good at their job and care about the regulars who are always in there, while also taking care of the other guests. They are the only reason this rating isn't any lower. But there are some waitresses that just don't care about what's going on, they just want tips and to get the fuck out at the end of the night.
