Awesome, quick service. They explain everything and are honest about whether or not you really need something done. I planned on getting my oil changed, but turns out my car didn't need it. I came here for my annual inspection as well and, even though there were 6 cars ahead of me, they got to me in less than 20 minutes. Took my car here today to get a State Inspection, simple right? Wrong, while I was waiting outside I looked up and see the inspector open my passenger side door and he climes in trying to get my glove box open. What part of the State Inspection requires the inspector to open the glove box and check the cabin air filter? This place is trying to do what ever they can to get the add-on service or upsell if they can. I told the inspector that that is not part of the inspection I was there for and to stop. Beware what they do to your vehicle while you are there. If you did not go there for it question everything. read more

Super happy with this oil change place. Manager on duty knows his stuff and also manages his people well. Happily greeted on arrival. Good service all the way through. I've been other places down the road and Walmart too. I just won't go anywhere else now. Great hometown real personal and happy service. They are clear. Honest. Helpful. I came here for vehicle inspection not everyone seemed to be glad to be working. They look like they could use a little coffee to start their day. But they seemed to be courteous may be it was too early since it is only 8am. Not everyone have their masks on their faces but 3 out of 4 have it as a chin guards. Just for safety precautions for their health and customers they should keep them on. My inspector is a little monotoned he could add a little enthusiasm at his work. After all not everyone have jobs to help their pay bills and put food on the table. They should be glad jobs to have that. Millions of people are out of jobs we don't need any more negatives to start our day. Other than that it was pretty quick. Have a blessed day. read more

Went here to get an inspection last week. Was told one of my headlights was out and they could replace it for $16. I declined and said I would like to try myself. I did for $5 and a week later came back for the inspection again just to be told by a different person that now I need windshield wipers. They offered to replace them for $11. When I asked why wasn't I told last week about this, she had no clue. I declined and said I'll replace them myself. I did for $6. At this point, I refused to go back to them for the inspection. Do yourself a favor and go to Christian Brothers just down the road. They charge the same exact thing for inspection and have a much nicer waiting area. read more

These guys are great, super friendly, conscientious, and they even let me go downstairs to see a leak in my engine to give me a suggestion on how to fix without taking a larger cost hit on the repair. Call me confused, but I think if a place calls themselves a 10 minute change, but it takes 30 from the time it enters the bay.......They are pretty costly for an oil change, and everyone I sat with in the waiting room was getting sold up on an air filter! I mean maybe its something that's really important, or maybe its something they have overstocked, I am not sure. The service guys were really nice, and they do offer a military discount which is a plus. but my oil change and air filter was still almost $100. I will be checking out somewhere else, my next oil change and compare the two and decide from there. I have never paid that much for an oil change up to this point though, and I lived on the east coast! lol read more

We bought our 3rd backup car several months back. I early on realized the front windshield wiper sprayer was not functioning. Today I went to the Borgfeld Rd shop and no less than the head guy himself was there to assist! He opened up the hood and was able to identify what we both concluded may have been mouse teeth marks. Mice-- presumably thirsty ones-- had gnawed through the rubber hose which ordinarily delivered the windshield washer spray to the sprayer end. Fixed it with minimal effort and for that I am not only DEEPLY GRATEFUL but also HIGHLY IMPRESSED at a true exemplar of "above and beyond customer service". That is why all 3 cars we own are taken exclusively to that shop! read more

This is the last time for this place. Since when can a place upcharge you without approval? Got scammed with the old "synthetic" upcharge without being asked because it's what they used the "last time" and wound up with a $100 oil change. Well I keep good records of receipts and it was not what they used last time so guess what, this will be the last time for anyone in my household that wastes anymore time or money at this location. Went in for a state inspection waited in my car for over 5 minutes until anyone would come out. Note there were no cars waiting but when he came out I lifted my insurance card and pointed to the registration sticker at which time he said see the sign no state inspections today. I said ok could you tell me when you will be doing them , he shrugged his shoulders and I asked him if anyone else was doing inspections. He pointed down the road. . He clearly could have cared less. I won't go back here I will find somewhere else that wants my business. read more

Wanted an inspection, was told to pull my car around the back of the building and leave my keys in the car, I asked if they were responsible and they told to wait and they would come get me. Waited 15 minutes then locked my car and walked around and found they had moved 3 cars in front of me. Never again will they get my business. read more

My car began smoking and the transmission went out. I pulled over as quickly as I could and miraculously ended up in Bradzoil's parking lot. I jumped out of my car searching for a problem when a technician (Lee) came and asked if I was okay. He checked out my car, found the problem immediately, expressed my car was about to catch on fire and said they could help me. I was stranded with 3 little kids, and they welcomed me into their waiting area (which they are trying to keep clear with covid) and let me take refuge there. They even offered to give me a ride home if my kids were having a hard time waiting. They went above and beyond when it came to helping me. They got my car fixed, and rinsed at a fraction of the cost it would have been for me to call a tow and take it to the dealership. And even asked if I was military (which we are but was so frazzled I didn't even ask for the discount), and gave me an additional discount. They helped this stranded mama out and were so kind. They are so generous and honest, Im so glad I got stuck there. Thank You Bradzoil! read more

It was noon, and there was one other person waiting for a state inspection, and apparently had been waiting for a little while. I pulled up behind him and waited as we watched four employees in the garage with a car, getting some type of service. I don't know what type since all they were doing was standing around, checking their phones and drinking energy drinks (which apparently were not effective at all). I asked if they were doing inspections today, and they said yes, they were going to start as soon as they finished with the car in the garage. I waited 5 more minutes and left. I went down 3009 to Take 5 Oil Change and was in and out in less that 10 minutes. I drove back by on my way home, and the first person was still waiting. Not sure what has happened, all they experiences before were outstanding. Not so much today. read more

I stopped by August 29 around 1pm. I have had my oil changed here for over 15 years. The crew working was all new from last time I was here to get my oil change. A young man greeted me and told me to please turn my engine off when I got into the bay. I was outside waiting in the parking lot, so I kept my truck running while I made some calls. While sitting out there I noticed a young Hispanic man giving me the look. We all know what look I'm talking about. He glared at me like I had snatched his favorite toy and ran off with it. I ignored it as maybe he was having a bad day. Again, I'm outside in the parking lot when he approaches me and yells at me to turn off my engine. He didn't ask, he didn't explain why he wanted me to turn off my engine nothing. Just yelled at me to turn off the engine. At the same time that he is yelling at me the truck in front of me exits the bay and it's my turn to drive into the bay. I follow the instructions on driving into the bay and put the truck in park and turn off the engine. This guy now proceeds to yell at me and tell me that next time he tells me to turn off my engine I better do what he says or else. He becomes irate yelling profanities at me and says he is going to kick my ass. The other workers try to calm him down, but he is intent on trying to enter my truck, but they stop him. At this point another older gentleman walks over to my truck half apologizing for the out-of-control employee. He explains that the reason he wants the engine off is, so the truck doesn't overheat and the guy in the pit doesn't burn his hands draining the oil of my truck. The guy in the pit then comes up and shows me several red marks on his arms where he has gotten burned doing his work. I tell both men that it makes perfect sense now, but no one explained anything and there are no signs posted about vehicles being hot. I also mention that it seems that the pit job is a dangerous job and that the company should provide some type of sleeve shield or heat gloves to the employees working the pit. I tell them I don't want to be serviced by them and to guide me out of the bay so I can leave. The Hispanic kid is still mouthing off and threatening me from behind my truck. I pull out of the bay and drive off with this guy still yelling at me as I drive off. It was the craziest thing in the world. I have had my oil changed there for over 15 years. Never have they asked me to turn my truck off when I am waiting outside. The level of customer service has always been top notch until today. I'm glad I am not a young hot head, or this could have ended very badly. I contacted their corporate office but have not received a call back on the threats and poor customer service. As I am writing this, I am getting angry because I should not have gone thru this situation if this company would train their employees better. If they would have communicated with me that I should have my truck off when I arrived that would have been ok with me. The young man who first approached me specifically said turn your engine off when you are in the bay. Not now or as soon as you get here but in the bay. No signs are posted anywhere as well explaining any reason why you should turn off your engine. The employee not having the correct equipment really bothers me because even with the truck off for 5 min the motor will not cool off enough to make a difference in heat in the under carriage of the truck. I was never so disappointed today with this location. I have been a loyal customer for years, but they lost my business today. I stopped in today to get my state inspection done. The line was long, but I decided to stay. After a 40 minute wait I was finally next, when a white F150 came into the parking lot and went around the building. The employee came out, greeted me, and proceeded to take my car. I went inside and after a minute or two, the manager came in an handed the cashier an inspection. I thought wow, that was quick, then she asked for what vehicle, the manager said the white F150. I thought to myself, I have been here for 45 minutes waiting in line, there are 4 cars behind me, and this person is in and out in minutes. I tried to find the manager, but couldn't. I'm sorry, if this how you treat you loyal customers, I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

Excellent service. After my oil change my tire pressure light went on so I brought it back. Took the extra time to teach me about locating the tire size and corresponding tire pressure on the chart in the front door. Explained the European vs American pressure systems and helped get my car roadworthy again. I'm not pretty, so I know they weren't just flirting! read more

My Chevrolet 2014 Silverado 2 year free scheduled maintenance is over. I pass by Bradzoil in Schertz about 4 times a day. It looked like a clean efficient operation so I figured I'd give them a try. I did a little research and decided to buy my oil and filter elsewhere. Mobil 1 Extended Performance and a WIX-XP Filter worked for me. Bradzoil didn't mind. They serviced everything that was included in changing the oil. That meant topping off all my fluids and adjusting my tire pressures. And there were a bunch of other lube items that I didn't know had to be done that was included. Awesome!!! They started off by telling me that they couldn't fit me in. I told them I'll come back the next day. There was nobody else there, it was a joke. :-) After they got started working on my truck the place got busy. I told them that I have to stop by more often. I'm very happy with the professional and courteous service I received here. They will be seeing a lot of me. I highly recommend coming here. And I don't say that about many places. Went there for an oil change. In and out quickly. Yes, they had suggested add-ons but who doesn't? Personally, I want to know what is going on with my truck. And, yes, I bought an air filter because mine was dirty. I declined 2 other services but I am getting them done in the next couple of months. Overall, quick, professional service AND a military discount. Beats waiting at a car repair place for an oil change. Time more important to me than saving a couple of bucks. read more

Well I live directly across the street from this Bradzoil. I am currently unemployed and I am driving a 2006 Chevy Pick-Up truck loaned to me from my son. It was due for an oil change and I went to Bradzoil. Glad I did. The ENTIRE work force there is friendly and knowledgeable. Left the place happy. Well on Saturday I was going to have my hair done. I had a face-to-face interview on Monday 8/8. When I went to leave and start the truck, it would not start, EVERY light came on the dash. I was in panic mood. I had the receipt from the oil change in my truck. Called them from my cell and explained the situation. The manager I spoke with, forgot his name - sorry, and he said I will be right over. AND he was. I had gotten it to turn over before he got to the truck. He asked me to drive over to the shop so they could check all the connections for me. I did and they did. This is a man/place that went above and beyond the call of duty. They were under no obligation to come to my rescue but they did. I will be a loyal customer after this experience. Worst ever! The inspection total time was 39 minutes with only 9 1/2 for the actual inspection. Lots of horseplay among the employees and no real management supervision. Been there before and this was not the situation...all 5 vehicles waiting were female. A male came in to purchase a quart of oil and had 3 employees give him attention before taking care of any of the inspections. read more

Bradzoil takes advantage of the elderly and retired veterans by telling you there are services needed with no documentation. Unneeded Brakes servicing, now the brakes lock up and did not previously, Unneeded powe rsteering servicing when it had been serviced a week earlier but my father did not know I had it serviced. Unneeded fuel injector service. They are nothing more than common thieves!!!.. Watch out for them and do not take your car there to get an inspection sticker.. this is where all this was generated from. read more
