Everything went well. I was there for my oil change. The technicians were great, very polite and professional. From the time I drove up to my arrival home and inside several miles away was less than 25 minutes. Because I drive so little it had been two years and about 1200 miles if that since my last oil change. I had a very generous coupon provided by their website and what I paid today was actually about a dollar less than what I paid two years ago. That is unheard of. read more

Take 45 blew it. 45 minutes for a $200 oil change only to pull out of shop and check engine light come on. Came back and was given attitude that is wasnt their fault. Hmm...no check engine light on before I come in, you open my hood and spend 45 minutes on the vehicle...now check engine light is on. Now I'm waiting in line....Again. Terrible customer service. Just came from this place they acted all nice and then charge way too much money for everything didn't even do it right left my car overheated guy said he was gonna put the windshield wiper fluid in. Had an awesome experience here and it was all because of the guy who helped me- Shaq! All I needed was a quick oil change, I was there maybe 10 minutes total and drove away happy for sure. Shaq greeted me when I wasn't sure where to go, helped me answer all my questions, and helped me get new wipers too. They should change their name to "Take 5... hours to get your oil changed." When I pulled up, there was one car in the bay, another in line, then me. It has been over an hour, and the one car in the bay has left; the car in front of me is now in the bay. I have not even gotten into the bay yet. I paid $60 to have my windshield wipers replaced here, and a few weeks later one of them flew off while I was driving on the highway. I came back and had to wait about an hour for them to replace it. The manager questioned how long it had been and tried arguing with me that a month had already passed, even though it had only been a few weeks. Thankfully the employee helping me still replaced it without charging me. Totally unacceptable for something as simple as installing windshield wipers. read more

I went here for an oil change right before the new year, prior to the change I had no oil leak, no dash lights or current issues, after receiving my "services" my car was noted to be dry with no oil replacement completed when my oil light came on 9 days after "getting a new oil change" at this location. When I went to speak to the "manager" a blonde-haired light skin man named Nicholas informed me he was the store manager and proceeded to answer questions as a mechanic that my car just "burns that much oil in 10 days." yes he meant the whole 5 quarts lol! I now have motor damage and thousands of dollars needed to fix my car. I am very unsatisfied with just the overall process. I contacted corporate on the 8th received a claim number and assurance I would receive a call back. I have called to follow up and to this date have not heard from any manager. The actual MOD by the name of CHANCE that was present and physically worked on my car wouldn't even come into the office to address me. Showed a video where his arm is covering the pitcher that was supposed to go into my vehicle and clearly you can still see some oil in the pitcher as hes walking away hovering the pitcher with his arms on video. The district manager has not returned one call. I understand companies not wanting to accept fault but clearly, they won't even address simple customer complaints either on how I was treated by staff at their location. read more

I've been using this Take 5 for several years now for both of our vehicles. The team seems to be well trained and communicates clearly with me and each other. Most importantly, they found a tear on the inside of my wife's tire that isn't part of my routine to check for. She could've been seriously injured if the Take 5 team at this location hadn't gone the extra mile. Keep up the great work. read more

I brought my brand new 2024 BMW here to get safety inspected over 60 days ago. My vehicle was purchased out of state, so I had to send my safety inspection to the BMW dealership in Oregon. After waiting for my registration to be processed for over 60 days by my dealership, they informed me that the Texas Department of Public Safety never received my Safety inspection in order to register my vehicle. The VIN Take 5 had on file, my auto insurance, and the Texas Department of Safety all matched. Take 5 failed to input my vehicle into the system and never returned my call after leaving several messages. I will be visiting them in person soon to get the $7.00 they owe me. Bottom line, do not go here if you mind risking your vehicle not being reported to the correct agencies. read more

Over an hour today waiting for an inspection. There were 2 cars in front of me. When I got out to see what was taking so long, they informed me that they were doing an oil change. But after 35 minutes the hood of that car hadn't even been opened! When I called and tried to speak to Eugene the manager, I was sent directly to voicemail. I've visited this location 4 times with various cars and although the price is decent, my vehicles always come back to me with an issue. First time I was able to drive home then when I tried to leave again it wouldn't accelerate. Manager came by and confirmed they forgot to plug something back up. Second time they forgot gas cap and engine light came on, third time vehicle made loud noise after oil change requiring 1k repairs and this last time drive train malfunction light came on which can cost 3400 to fix. My bad for thinking they'd get it done right but stay away unless you want problems with your vehicle that they won't own up to. read more

took car in, they overfilled the oil way past full. tried to get me to accept the overfill. They redid it and this time under filled it (under the low marker). I went back so they could just add alittle to reach the threshold and again they overfilled it. Most the people that go here probably dont understand or check things after but please do because your engine oil level is pretty critical to gasket health.I will never trust these guys again hence will never return. read more

Took my car for an oil change and they came back to me with the belt broken off and car that won't drive. They have horrible customer service would fix it nor lend me the tools to try and fix ther or mistake . This place has really gone downhill! After waiting nearly 45 minutes for an inspection (since they prefer to do all inspections out of the same lane, even though another bay sat empty) behind the 3 vehicles ahead of me, I finally get situated only to fail. Not only did they fail my vehicle due to "low brake fluid" (even though it's halfway between the "Min" and "Max" lines), but they didn't even open the hoods of the vehicles ahead of me. If these systems are working the way they should and levels are within range, why fail the vehicle, keep my cash and proceed to waste my time?! I will never return to this place as there is always something they like to bring up. Buyer beware! read more

I pulled up thinking this would be just like any other oil change service, but I was wrong. It's a drive thru! You stay in your vehicle the whole time, which lasted just under 10 minutes. Not only that, but they give discounts to Uber and Lyft drivers, which I happen to also do. 25%off! That's almost a quarter off the price! Errmuhgerd. They also wipe down your windshield, and offer water and pretzels. On the house. I think I'll be checking this place out again. read more

I usually do not write reviews good or bad. However for this company I am making an exception. I brought my F150 truck in for an inspection at the 3009 store. After paying for the inspection I did not check the paperwork to see wether or not it was correct. I assumed everything was fine. When I proceeded to get the actual sticker at the tax office, they told me the wrong vehicle was on the paperwork. Apparently they must have looked at my insurance and couldn't tell the difference between my lexus and my Ford F150. And the paperwork was for my Lexus nit my truck. When I went back to get the correct paperwork, as I feared, Nathan told me I had to wait until he finished the all the cars in front of me. No apology not to mention I already payed for work that was not done right. 45 minutes and I was still waiting. Piss poor service. I will never again use their service and I recommend go somewhere else. read more

I've been going to take five oil change for a while now and never really had a problem until I started going to the one near my house. For some reason it seems to be that every time I need an oil change I go in and they never seem to have my air filter, and when they tell me that they don't have my air filter they don't even top off my cars at this point I've just been burning oil since they sent me back three times due to lack of air filters. As a result now my car is misfiring, stuff gas pedal, and other things are just a few problems that have started to occur. This is the worst customer service that is about to put me a couple thousand in repairs. read more

They did not have the oil option I wanted. The only option I had was to get the higher priced or lower priced low mileage option and I'm over 99k miles. They should have priced matched it so I could get the best suited option for my vehicle. I'll stick to Valvoline next time.
