I was referred to this jewelry store by my brother Vinny Caruso. Zargrab the owner of this store took told advantage of me. My boyfriend placed an order for a pair of 11 carrots of diamond earrings. Zargrab assured us that he could replicate the pair I wanted. He said he could make an exact copy of the costume jewelry earrings I bought in the store that I wanted him to make for me. We agreed on a price and the diamonds and my boyfriend paid in full that same day. We had a deal.Then Zargrab called me back in the store and wanted $1500.00 more a few days later. I was very upset with the whole process. He didn't have the diamonds he promised and the settings of the 14k white gold was not the exact match he promised. I was very upset and wanted my money back immediately. He somehow managed to get me to agreed to another settings for my earrings. But after waiting too long for the diamonds and the order to be ready. I canceled the order and he threatened to charge me a fee for the diamonds he never had to show me. He said he ordered over 11 carrots of diamonds but when I went back to the store to see the diamonds he didn't have them to show me. I had to make several painful trips to this store to deal with this very shadey character. I am very disappointed with this entire process and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS JEWELRY STORE. BUYER BEWARE. My boyfriend did get he's money returned to his credit card. He didn't make exact copy of earrings and he tried to charge me more money when I went back into after we agreed and paid in full on a credit card. BIG SCAM ARTIST. read more

My Wife and I went to LLG recently to get some jewelry repaired and cleaned. Zohrab is a really nice guy who does great work. He did a great job repairing a gold bracelet, replacing a missing diamond in a tennis bracelet, resizing a watch that didn't have links, and cleaning and refinishing my gold wedding band. I then decided to upgrade my wife's diamond in her engagement ring. We had talked about doing it after ten years but figured I would see what he had while were there and see what we could get in return if we traded in her existing diamond. He had a really good price on a certified diamond that looked amazing and gave us a very fair price for trade in. Would 100% go back there next time I need something. read more

Stopped by LLG after having a horrible experience at another local jewelers (Long's in Burlington). I'm newly engaged and had brought my ring to Long's to have it resized. After the resizing I noticed how incredibly loose the center stone was (its brand new and was not loose before) so much so that it was about to fall out of the setting. I brought the ring back and was given no apology or refund for the horrible work they did. They told me the ring was poorly constructed (its a ring they sell in their stores!!) and it loosening was inevitable and happened from normal wear and tear (i've only had it a week!!). They quickly tightened the prongs and showed me the door. Frustrated and wanting a second opinion on my ring I went to the closest jeweler I could find, which was LLG. I was warmly welcomed and I explained what happened and the jeweler was incredibly nice and helpful. He brought out tweezers and showed me that the diamond was STILL loose even after Long's had 'fixed' it - he even gave me the tweezers to try for myself! He then tightened the prongs and checked the security of the center diamond and all the accent diamonds in front of me, and polished and shined the ring beautifully. A newly engaged woman does not want to worry about her diamond falling out and getting lost, and I feel at ease because of his great work. I was so happy to finally experience some friendly, HELPFUL customer service, and I will definitely be coming back to LLG for all my repairs!! read more
