I got a car from Cars Of Charlotte very easy process. I ran into a wheel bearing issue, after getting the car car fixed the dealership went 50% on the repairs (crediting my account) which I was VERY grateful. I couldn't make it to the dealership at a certain time so they actually stayed later and fix the minor issue with my sunroof. Motor wise my car runs great no accidents on car fax and they are very helpful. When I couldn' afford the credit card fees they waived them to accommodate me. Have I gotten upset with them YES do people have Disagreements YES! People are still human beings who have outside problems and stresses just like every other human. But all in all they truly accommodate whatever problems I'm having if any and find a way to make it right and that alone speaks volume in my book. read more

I promise you this place has the best service. I was already prepared to be there for hours and fighting with them about the warranty. The tires for my Tahoe were already expensive. With the warranty it was an extra 50 dollars per tire. I went there and was out within 30 minutes. Everyone that works there were super friendly and professional. The experience at this Discount tire location was fast, easy, and at the time (I thought) professionally handled. Little did I know, but the lug nuts on my right rear tire were not fully installed. A $800 tire update lead to an additional $2900+ bill that was not covered by their claims department. Two lug nuts were cross-threaded, and over the course of the next months, the only lugs that were properly installed began to fracture. It caused significant damage to my vehicle, and was a breath away from falling off on the highway when I identified the issue. My major suggestion to future customers 1. Inspect any work completed. I strongly suggest ensuring they even use your original lug nuts back for your vehicle. (All of my lugs were not tight). 2. The stores DO NOT handle their own claims. It's handled by an offsite claims department. 3. There is a very tight margin/window for the claim to be accepted (i.e. less than a certain miles/time period). 4. When they cross-thread lug nuts, there is a audible clicking noise you will hear with your windows down when starting/stopping rolling. This isn't to be confused with low grease on your bearing hub. (it sounded like a soda can popping open). The dealership who repaired my vehicle explained all of this damage was a result of the work performed by this DT branch as the last party to perform the work on the vehicle. read more

Spent $1700 getting new tires at the Congaree/Haywood Road Greenville South Carolina discount tire store yesterday. Fortunately noticed the Weights had come unglued on one tire and then realized the valve stem covers were missing and no two tires had the same air pressure. Also there was glue smeared all over the wheel. So I spent another afternoon at discount tire. The store described the work as "jammer". They realize the other weights had fallen off as well and couldn't explain the glue and, various air pressures. They say they have now replaced the weights and rebalanced the tires. I have absolutely no trust that this has been done correctly. I asked since I had to spend another day there and almost drove around with unbalanced tires if they could at least give me a discount for a spare tire. They offered free labor.TO PUT ON A SPARE!! I busted two passenger tires on my way home from college for Christmas break and had my car towed to this location to be serviced. Saying I'm disappointed with the service is an understatement, I've aways gone to Discount Tire in the Spartanburg, SC area and I've never had any issues. However, I drove up early this morning with my mom when they opened to get my car done. We waited over 3 and a half hours, causing my mom to call out of work. They never changed the tires after they were already paid for and they failed to notify us that one of the tires was so badly damaged that the rim needed to be replaced. After that issue was resolved, I got home only to find that the interior of my car, that has just been recently detailed, is covered in brown stains and grease marks all over the drivers side and backseats (that nobody ever sits in ). Their communication is lacking, and they need to do better. At least the guy at the counter was nice. read more

This place is great. I could not get an appointment due to my schedule but came in at 4:30. They had a lot af cars ahead of me but I waited. I was in and out in about an hour. I would always recommend you set up an appointment because of how busy all of their locations are. They are always very friendly and fast. I would rate this location negative stars if it were an option. This money grubbing establishment took my wheel and tire apart, then said they wouldn't repair the tire, but did not remount my tire. I thought this was just because they were 'in a hurry' and made an honest mistake. I did not ask for the tire to be removed from the wheel. I returned to Discount Tire so they could correct their mistake , but they would not. I am beyond pissed that they can destroy my property to commit me to buy a tire from them, and then both the manager and his jackhole sidekick both refused to repair THEIR damage. Do not do business with Discount Tire. Today I discovered along with a neighbor that my right flat tire was flat He informed me that there was a nail in it. He was so nice a recommended that I discount tire on South Tryon in Charlotte. He went on to say that they would remove the nail and plug my tire. Omg,the young man that waited on me was delighted. He was helpful and went above and beyond to help me. The tire was able to be plugged by one of the technicians at no cost. I couldn't walk out of this establishment without paying some . So, I purchased new wiper blades as I was told I needed them. Came here after scanning some the reviews here on yep. I must say...everything was pretty seamless with no hassle. I worked with Jessie who was pleasant, prompt, and professional. I was headed to an appt at the DMV and had a flat. I called and told them I would have it towed there. The car arrived 10 monies before they closed and I was worried they would shrug me offs but they waited to see me and weren't pressed or rushed. My car was ready the next day with no problems. Do I find it strange that my experience at Discount Tire completely made my day yesterday, and actually managed to turn my entire week around? I guess I would, if I hadn't had previous experiences with this place and already know how wonderful they are! Seriously. The guys who work at this Discount Tire are AMAZING. The place is constantly busy, so be warned - you will have to wait. There will be several cars in front of yours. It's part of living in a car-centric, major US city. It is what it is. Somehow, the guys at this Discount Tire manage to keep smiles on their faces all day, and be as courteous, kind, professional, and accommodating as anyone could ever ask for. Part of living in the construction zone of NoDa is the apparent reality that I'm going to run over a nail approximately once every 5-6 weeks, and my lovely little tire pressure light will come on. I went in yesterday with what I thought was a flat tire. I expected to be dropping at least a few hundred dollars and expected about a 3 hour wait at Discount Tire. As far as the wait, I almost got that - I was there for about 2 hours, but it's obvious that those guys are HUSTLING; you can see through the window that nobody is lazing around. As mentioned before, it's a busy place. Plus, the techs come out to give you periodic updates, so you never feel abandoned. I was updated on potential costs, told exactly what was wrong with my tires, and sent on my way a very, very happy customer. These guys are so wonderful and I am so thankful for this location. Absolutely God awful place run by scumbags. I've bought tires here twice in the last year, and both of my experiences were terrible to say the least. The front counter is run by a guy named Justin and his cohort who don't have any sense of time consideration with his customers and the ones in line. You will likely stand in line for at least 30 minutes behind two people before you even get to the counter. Then you'll be talked to in a friendly tone, which is a facade because they don't care about you. Wait until they tell you that you need a 60 dollar sensor replacement because legally they have to do it(they don't have to). And then be ready to bring it back because the sensor replacement didn't work, then have them "fix" it, and it still not work. Then be expected to be put on the bottom of a list and wait 2 hours for two new tires. No rush, no hustle. Watch as the employees skip over your car to work on others regardless of how long you've been waiting or how late you are for something. And then don't forget, be ready to pay. Discount my ass, this place is not a discount. It's hell on earth for anyone with a brain, and every experience I have with these people further cements that opinion. Screw this place. read more

They consistently have worked within my budget to ensure I'm out on the road being safe. I once went in when my tire was flat and while they couldn't repair it patch it they found me a $20 used tire out the door so I could have a tire and drive away safely. I went in recently with a budget and 1 new tire would have blown my budget out of the water considering I probably needed two tires. When they mentioned they had free WiFi in the waiting room I said my phone was dead. They grabbed me the manager's charger so I could juice up. You can make an appointment for even faster service. Alex assisted me in getting the process started with tire replacement. He was very nice. My replacement price is was reasonable-more than what I expected but necessary. I would recommend coming here and if on Saturday come when they open bc the wait is about an hour and a half. The staff works very well together and they greet each customer that walks in the door. I moved to Charlotte a little more than 2 months ago and needed to change my tires really bad! I've already put air on one of them for 5 times within the past 2 weeks. But some friends told me to come to Discount Tire, they would be trustful and have warranty on their tires in case anything happens in the future! I came and checked the prices, they are great but again, I am the one that still not on my feet here.
