I had an appointment for an oil change on my truck this morning at 8AM. There were 6 cars waiting for service and only one open service bay. I had to stand in line until I realized that I wasn't going anywhere soon. Walk in traffic takes priority at check in as I am standing outside the door. The worst part of this review is that I have been a customer for 3 years. When I called for the oil change, I asked if they could code read my wife's car because it had a check engine light. I was quoted $90.00 just to give me a code. We took her car to a local auto parts store, similar to auto zone. The service clerk went into the parking lot, got on her hands and knees with a code reader for FREE and sold us the part (0'2 sensor) we needed. read more

Service on brakes were fine although the mechanic left greasy black footprints on carpet as well as greasy/dirty hand prints on doors, steering wheel, dash, center console and glove box. Thank just called Brake Masters and Danielle said to bring my car in and they will clean it up. I will revise post after I take my car back in. read more

Going to Brake Masters is the gift that keeps on giving, so it has been years now since I had brakes done at Brake Masters. I stopped going due to very poor work their mechanic had been doing. Had a front caliper fall half way off due to a caliper bolt working its way out, damaged my rim so the tire went flat and the wheel seized up, could have been a deadly mistake by Brake Masters. A few years ago my vehicle developed a metallic rattling noise, it has been a backup vehicle so it didn't get driven all that much, recently I started to examine and try to pinpoint the source of the rattle and determined that it was the brakes, both sides of my front brakes are missing the hardware, so basically the pads are just sitting in the caliper loosely, so everytime I hit a bump it causes the rattle as the pads bounce around. Step on the brakes going over bumps and the rattle is gone. If they haven't changed mechanics in the last few years, everyone that goes there is gambling with their lives. read more

In January I was up the hill and took my car into brake masters in Hesperia, I was told I needed front and rear brakes. Told them to do the work and I went on my way. Nine months later I could tell I needed brake's I had an inspection on my car and was told I needed rear brakes. In those nine months I only went 6K miles. So, either they forgot or have some sketchy business going on I don't know. I just know I paid $300 for nothing Thanks brake master's I will never go back, just take my car to the dealer least I know the works being done. read more

Took my vehicle in 45 minutes after the place opened. I needed new brakes. I was told I'd get a call with an estimate soon. I work graveyard shifts, so I stayed awake in fear that I'd miss their call. I waited around for 2 hrs and I didn't hear from them. I gave them a call, they tell me they haven't gotten to my car yet. Another 3.5 hrs goes by .. I call again. They said, "Oh, we're working on other cars right now. We'll give you a call!" Finally at around 2:30-3pm I get a call with my ESTIMATE! Estimate was fine .. but the place closed at 5pm. Took them 5.5 hours to get to my car! Finally, I get a call at 4:15 saying my car is ready .. I rush over to get my car, make it there with 10 minutes to spare. Place is empty. No lingering customers. Two employees were there, lights off practically ready to leave for the day .. I was LIVID. I know I was one of the first people there to drop my car off for the day, and I was most definitely the last person to have it worked on! Never again! I needed to have tires put on it that day too, but nope! Took all damn day to have BRAKE PADS replaced!!! I wasn't sure if I needed rotors (which i didn't) but HAD I KNOWN .. I would have just had someone I knew do the job, and saved $200 on labor. Decided to take it in just to check the rotors though .. Smh. Not even mad about the $$ .. My truck quit running just driving down the road I took it to Brake masters in Hesperia And they said that it was my distributor so I bought a new distributor had them put it in And then they called me and said that it still wasn't running and they didn't know why so I took it to another shop and Found out that brake masters put the distributor in backwards and burned up my battery by leaving the key on I would not recommend this shop at all read more

First of all Danielle is very rude she has no customer service skills at all. This business cut my rotors and had terrible results. Denise told me to bring the rotors back to fix the problem. they didn't even recut the rotors,and said they are True. As soon as I bought new rotors problem solved. They charged me additional $20 to have the back churned saying that there was a problem with the back rotors and was never any issues before with the back. read more

This place of business lies to you in your face, they are backed up & don't have enough mechanics to handle the workflow. I dropped my car off with them and they stood with my vehicle for 8 hours just to do an alignment! AND DO NOT GET YOUR ALIGNMENT DONE HERE! I paid 89$ dollars and it still pulls to the right! I'd highly doubt it if they just charged me and just gave me back my vehicle without even touching it! I don't know what's up with these guys? I brought my pickup truck in on a Friday for a front end alignment because I had abnormal tire wear (toe in). I had just purchased two new tires for the front and wanted to make sure the alignment was correct. Everything seemed fine but when I was driving the truck home it pulled hard to the left. I returned immediately and waited while the mechanics "worked" on it and test drove it at least three more times. I would think that the original test drive they would've noticed it pulling hard to the left before they gave it to me. Anyway they worked on it a few more times and eventually said that they couldn't fix it and that it must be the "electronic steering" is out of calibration. Here is the scary part: when I went to drive home it still pulled to the left but it was behaving very strangely. When I had left America's tire a mile away my dash indicated that all four tires were near identical pressure. I had to scroll through the menu on my dash to get back to the tire pressure again after break masters worked on it, and low and behold they had put 50 pounds in the right front tire and 30 pounds in the left front tire. I didn't dare get on the freeway so I drove home the long way around and did not drive the truck the entire weekend. First thing Monday morning I took it to the Victorville Chevrolet dealership fearing the worst. But about 30 minutes later the dealership was finished and they said it was just a normal front end alignment correcting "toe out" and there was no other problem. I drove home and the truck tracked straight. I do not recommend nor trust Brake Masters work any longer! read more

SHARKS! Be forewarned. They may tell you that an alignment will run $100, but after they put you on the special tester, the price will be closer $2000. Of course, the old truck needs shocks and lifts and all kinds of other adjustments. But when you can only afford to buy 2 new tires and you just want them to ride more aligned with the other 2, you aren't going to pay all that...otherwise, you would have bought 4 new tires. This place wouldn't even touch the vehicle without all the other issues being fixed first. You know, they gotta have the $$ in their pockets first before they do the less expensive part of the job. In the old days an alignment meant working within the parameters of the vehicle flaws and ALIGNING the wheels directionally with each other. But of course, in the old days the mechanic usually knew how to do it. Just sayin....my advice, go somewhere else. read more

I would highly recommend. I was told by Nissan that I needed my brakes done and was going to be over $500. I took in my vehicle today and left. I received a phone call stating that I did not need new brakes that I have 75% left. I feel today honesty is no longer in companies and knowing that they were honesty is a blessing. DO NOT TRUST THEM! we went to fix the lower control arms and brought our own parts so it would be cheaper. I guess that pissed them off that they lost money so they drained MY OIL AND TRANSMISSION FLUID!! So I would have to go back and they would charge me double! I wanted a lift kit installed and some other work done to my jeep, I met with Dennis the owner he was very nice I was treated like family. What I thought was going to cost over $1,200 I was charged 60% less than the lowest competitor. I felt guilty about paying so little, I tried to give him more money he refused it. My back brakes recently started Squeaking so I called Brake Masters considering brake is in the name. Dennis was very nice and told me they do lots more than just brakes! I dropped my car off to them in the afternoon and it was ready the next afternoon not even 24 hrs. I know people expect faster service but I called last minute so it was awesome for them to get me in. His daughter Danielle is very nice and understaning, I love family places. Although the man and his daughter maybe honest. I don't think they have very good employees whoever worked on my car had just unplugged my oil pressure sensor. Now my engine is knocking and now it's probably going to be a bigger problem. I wasn't expecting to drive off their property thinking my oil pan light issue was fixed only to find out they unplugged it. read more

Beware! Danielle is a liar! She told me that my brakes are worn out and need to be replaced....went to Firestone right across the street right away and found out that the brakes are fine! ....geez be careful. I thought she was speaking to me in a poor tone when i asked about matching pricing....she lied about me getting poor quality brakes at other places...and made it sound that she was giving a good price without a price match....Danielle is sketch!
