Best auto service experience in long time. Jacob took the car back right away after a quick test drive. They pulled all four wheels and checked front and rear brakes. After a thorough inspection and another test drive on the freeway he explained everything in great detail. He told me the issue I'm having is not dangerous, but if it is really annoying it would be $450.00 to replace the front pads and rotors which is about $100 less than I paid another garage. I told him it's not THAT annoying, but when it's time to get the brakes done, they will be the guys. He could have sold me a front brake job but was honest, patient, and very helpful. NO CHARGE!!! Today was the second time I've come here to get my BMW serviced. Over the weekend, my engine light came on with a message regarding reduced power from the engine. I took my truck to Brake Pros the day after I heard my brakes start to squeak. I don't generally like to wait, once I discover I have a problem that needs fixing. I called around, and Brake Pros gave me the best quote. I was told they would check out my truck, and give me a call back in 30-45 minutes. Sure enough, I received a call 30 minutes later. I was told my brakes were metal to metal, and that my rotors had deep grooves in them, and were too thin to be turned. And so, I would have to get new rotors as well as new brakes, and if I decided against the rotors that the pads would not be under warranty.. I was also told I needed a rear brake adjustment - sounded like an unnecessary upsell to me. The next thing I was told really irritated me.... He had inspected my belts, and there were three that were cracked and should be replaced asap. "Whoa, really???" I said. "I replaced every belt on that truck less than a year ago! And I haven't put very many miles on it since then. I wonder how that could have even happened???" He said, "How long ago? A year? Let me check again and I will call you back!" Well now, I'm not so sure my brakes even went metal-to-metal or that I needed new rotors! I didn't have many options available at the time, so I went ahead and let them do my brakes and rotors. I never did get that call back about the belts, so I went ahead and called them to ask if anyone had checked them yet. Well guess what- surprise, surprise... The belts were all just fine. I'm STILL so irritated by his claim. You'd think someone would at least take a look before trying to convince the customer replacement parts were needed! read more

I am so impressed with this establishment! I've been on the hunt for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic in the area for years, and I'm happy to say I've finally found the place. This was my second visit, and both times I was very pleased with the excellent customer service I received from both Jacob and Mike. My first visit was to replace a faulty thermostat in my Hyundai, and this time I needed their help figuring out why my car's oil light was flashing only a month after I'd had the oil changed (at a cheapy oil place). Thinking there might be an oil leak somewhere, I knew Mike and Jacob would be the guys to take my car to in order to fix the problem. Not surprisingly, it was evident the cheapy oil place did not do their job correctly. Jacob added the oil and other stuff the other place had failed to top up, and I now have another great reason to bring my car here! I went here to have a Brake Inspection. The employee at the front desk, can't remember his name, was nice and welcoming. I had about an hour and half wait due to 3 cars being ahead of me. Didn't bother me much. Once inspected, the employee was honest and let me know my brakes were in good shape but it appears that I was having some other problems. He let me know the problem was not a safety issue. He referred me to a muffler shop. Im just happy they were honest and didn't try to make up a problem. I have NEVER written a review. But felt this was necessary. I arrived anticipating replacing the brakes and all the costs it entails. My vehicle was taken for a test drive, pads and rotors checked. Save yourself the time of having to return multiple times. Really wanted to like this place and so disappointed that I don't. I came to this place to to get my brakes and rotors replaced and at first really appreciated the people that worked there. Someone had quoted me a price lower than what the actual price was but they honored that quotes price. I kept driving my car but noticed my front brakes started squeaking so I took them in to get replaced and the guy explained that something came out of place making one of my brakes on the right wear down quicker than the left. They fixed everything and I was good to go. Come two months or so later my brakes start squeaking even though at this point both have been replaced. So I call, take my car in and they say they put the brake on slightly off and replaced it. I keep driving and 1-2 months later it squeaks again. So I take it back and again they resolve it. I have had to return to this place 4 TIMES (and have the receipts to prove it) to get my brakes replaced. The last time I went they replaced the wrong brake so the one that was squeaky was "out of warranty" even though I called about it well into warranty. The guy working said he was doing my a favor by replacing it. Not sure what favor ir is to have to return to a business because they don't know how to install brakes that last longer than 2 months. My commute isn't crazy so there is no reason why my brakes should be this bad. Currently as I write this, my brakes are squeaking again. Save yourself the time. read more
