Brought my 2007 BMW in a year ago before moving cross country. Asked for a diagnosis for why the brake and ABS light came on. They wanted to charge $250 just for plugging in an ODB reader and printing codes. I said no way and they knocked it down to $160. An ODB reader costs less than $100 on Amazon. As for the ABS module - they couldn't tell me what exactly what was wrong with it because they said that would require going under the engine block. They said they would only do a full replacement for $4000 estimated. 1) The ABS module is next to the brake fluid reservoir. It only takes two minutes to remove a plastic cover and it's right there. 2) A whole module replacement was absolutely unnecessary. I removed the ABS/DSC module from the car, shipped it to ModuleMaster.com for $250 and reinstalled it myself. The tools for me to do this work and flush the brake fluid only cost $200 more so about $500 total. 3) The module was working fine it was only the ABS brush that needed to be rebuilt which is a well known problem for the 2007 E90. Find a better shop. This stealership will try to scam you out of every dollar they can. read more

I've been bringing my BMWs to Braman service for years. I have owned or leased about 5 or 6. If I don't lease I buy a CPO with warranty. First the warranties from BMW changed and they do not cover as much as they did before and and are not as long as they were. So In november I needed a repair that was not covered. I asked about the warranty and purchasing the extended warranty yet never received the information I requested. No call no follow up Then my 2017 330i with 55k miles I needed coolant and oil leak repairs in December -$2500.00 worth - not covered I approved 1500.00 to get the car fixed in their nifty little text please hey send . The advisor approved another the other 1k in repairs which pissed me off. I didn't approve it. Mind you all this happened in the middle of the christmas New Years holidays and no one was around when I went to pick up the car. I was told follow up next week when the advisor is back. I emailed the manager- no response. I'm done with Braman and I may be done with BMW too with their mediocre warranties and overpriced service. This is just some of my negative experiences and I'm at my limit. Their service is no better than the local Nissan dealer where I bring my company vehicle. My car was towed in and they denied that they even had the car for an entire day. Then they claimed that someone had lost the keys so they couldn't work on it until the next day. When it was fixed they took over an hour to pull my car up "because it was on the 6th floor". When it was finally pulled up it had no coolant, after it was brought in for a coolant leak, so I had to wait for someone to fill my coolant. My advisor was Felipe and he honestly sounded clueless about every question I raised. They also broke the mount of my radar detector, not sure why they were touching it in the first place. I see that Braman responds to reviews so I hope that someone reaches out and tries to make this right. Very disappointing. Braman wins the award for the WORST customer experience! Made an appointment to test drive a vehicle with Manny, drove over. Got there, was transferred to another salesman, Milton, who told me he couldn't find the vehicle! Yes, the same vehicle (listed on the website for sale) that I called ahead to make an appointment to test drive and was confirmed for 330p! They kept me waiting 1 hour looking for it and then said it needed repair and I couldn't test drive it not even see it. Do NOT bring your car here. Brought my car here to get sunroof fixed. Car has been there for 38 days and counting. Ive had to call multiple times to get updates after they had told me week after week the car would be ready. The part that came in wasn't approved so had to order a new part. Won't come in for another 10 days if it does come in (not confirmed). They offer you a loaner but after 30 days you have to come back to the service location And renew the contract and they have to re inspect the loaner. This dealership is unscrupulous with a bunch of shady characters in their service department that will take advantage of women. We had a company car go in for service that is driven by a female executive. They first took the car for a basic oil change and service, then damaged the car during service and it had to go back for a repair. Subsequently, they provided a rental loaner which was provided and came back in perfect shape. Later they called to claim damage to the rental and tried to charge our credit card, as well as file a fraudulent claim with our insurer. Ordered a grille online, part came in damaged and appears to have been used. Replied to the email and no response. Replied to email from the order confirmation and no response. Looked up contact email from Paypal and email got sent back as invalid email. Called the number in confirmation emailed and got the run around and transferred to "online parts" where no-one ever answered and never responded when I left voice mail. Had to get Paypal involved after several attempts with still no response to return item. Paypal did intervened but i still had to pay out of pocket for return shipping of damaged used part that was received. The top of my convertible didn't want to close, it was Friday and I had to go to a meeting to another city. They told me to leave the car for an inspection. I told them I just needed to close the top of the convertible and that was it. They told me I had to leave it and it could be a $1400 job + $400 revision. I called a friend of mine, he told me how to place the top back, it took 30 seconds to do it. This place is a full scam, a year ago I had a problem with my AC, they wanted to charge me $1700. Braman BMW is not your typical BMW service center. They work off volume and it shows through their lack of customer service. The people are friendly enough, however they will try to work on your car the least - for the most amount of money. This warning is especially for those that are repairing their cars out of warranty. They will honor part of it but good luck getting them to honor all of it. You will most likely end up with a car 'mostly' repaired because Braman BMW was not willing to go the extra 1/10 of a mile. Most people come here since it's conveniently located downtown. However, don't be drawn into this mistake if you can drive your vehicle to South Miami or Pembroke BMW. read more

I wanted a 2023 M440i and was ready to buy the car from Brahman and was working with a salesman for several weeks to build the car I wanted and made an appointment last Saturday to come down and put in my order. It was then that he informed me that there is a $10,000 "market adjustment" added to the MSRP of the car. I was never informed of this before and wasted my time coming all the way there when they could've told me this before. I find this remarkably unprofessional. This so called "market adjustment" is just a form of remarkable greed by Brahman to take advantage of the lack of supply. Frankly this makes their dealership look highly unethical. I called every dealership in south eastern Florida and not one is charging an extra $10k on top of MSRP. The few that were charging $5k told me that they would even waive the markup. I went to the dealership that is charging zero above MSRP and purchased not only a car for myself but my friend came along and purchased a new x5. My girlfriend will be purchasing an X5 in three months from this dealership when her current lease expires. Brahman lost the sale of three new vehicles due to greed. Nice job read more

I brought my car for service, a simple check with and change of 12v battery for my i3. took them 2 weeks to execute the repair, had plenty of problems with the post arrive programming and had to involve a bmw mechanic (not sure what they are then???) to fix the issue. customer service is a disaster, seldom reply to enquiry and once you pay online they are supposed to have all ready for pickup. but wait no!! had to wait 10 min for cashier to print all document and another 10 for the car to be brought from the garage. BMW should be appalled to have such a representative in Miami: just appearance but completely incompetent and unprofessional. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST. Bought a BMW from these guys, from out of state. First of all they advertised online one price, when I reached out about the car, they said it was a different price, which was a $50K MORE than the listed price. I get mark ups but that was pretty funny when I heard that. I passed on the deal and they reached out stating they would honor the MSRP listed price online. I have purchased 3 cars from out of state before, from independent dealers and from manufacturer dealers. So this is not the first time I have bought a car from out of state. I am going to save the time writing out an entire story of how this transaction went bad from start to even this moment of writing this review, but below are all the things that have happened since the moment I reached out to this dealer. 1. massive up charge on a car. 2. would not provide shipping logistics, required me to do all the leg work. 3. Required full payment of car before they would send any of the paperwork 4. emailed me unsigned copies of all the vehicle paperwork (2 copies) 5. would not let me keep 1 copy of the duplicates they sent me (had to sign both copies) 6. would not release my car to the shipping company until I had signed all documents even though they had my money cleared for over a week. 7. Would not send me a coy of ALL the papers I signed and the dealer signed. When pressed for them, they advised they don't send those and I should be fine with blank unsigned photo copies. I had to get BMW corporate involved just to get signed copies of the transaction. 8. Would not allow me to register and do all the paperwork with my DMV locally. Required me to write them a check for registration, taxes and all the paperwork to register the car in my state. (not unheard of but not common) All transactions I have done, I have been the one to go to the local DMV to register my car, title it and pay the taxes for my state. 9. Took my paperwork (at the time I had blank copies) to the DMV locally as soon as the car arrived (about 2 weeks after paying in full for the car) and they advised there was nothing they could do for me as far as registration, title, VIN inspect, etc. I did not have actual signed papers or original copies. They also said I needed the title. 10. Temp registration they provided EXPIRED and I had received NOTHING about plates, registration, title. I took it to my DMV again, since the car was now going to be undriveable on the streets due to no registration or plates. DMV locally advised that they should have given me the title within 1 week (it had been a month now), they should have allowed me to do all the paperwork myself not them... Luckily the DMV felt bad and allowed me a 1 year TEMP registration with transferring of my old vehicles plates and did a VIN inspection. They advised that if I don't get the title within the year, I can NOT register the car again and it would not be drivable. They also made me pay for the new temp registration, keep in mind I already PAID the dealership for registration. So now I have been charged TWICE for registration. 11. As of writing this review, the dealership STILL has not provided me with the title to my car. Car has been paid in full (no bank finance), VIN inspection done and provided the dealer with the recite showing inspection paid for. Through all of this, the dealership has been 50% responsive to my emails, had to get BMW corporate involved which they helped on some issues but has yet to do ANYTHING to help get the title to my car. At this point I have now had to get my lawyer involved to get the title to a car that I legally own and this dealership has refused to release to me. I would DEFINITLY never buy or recommend someone to use this dealership EVER. And the way that BMW Corporate lack of support to get involved on an issue like this, with a dealer representing their brand.... I would probably never get a BMW again, which is sad because we have owned 6 BMWs personally and our family has had corporate leases with BMW for our past company for over 20 years. read more

I needed practically a miracle to get in a new vehicle. With the help of their A+ team, we drove off the lot in a brand new 2020 330i. Where to begin. STAY AWAY!!! Terrible service and they are all crooks!!! And they DON'T care. They are in serious need of auditing. You decide. You have the facts below. In Oct. 2018, I was shopping for my 2nd BMW lease. My husband received a call from a Salesperson at this dealership who promised him that if we came on Saturday, he would have the car we wanted. We knew specifically everything we wanted (after all, we already lease one BMW vehicle). We showed up on Saturday and he kept quickly showing us the paperwork listing off our wish list. At one point I notice that the mileage says 200+ and I asked what that meant. He says off hand that it's a gently used vehicle. Not only did he not mention that it was used but he was trying to get us to sign without reading all of the paperwork. We walked out, furious at ourselves for falling for a sales guy and for almost falling again. We ended up leasing our BMW in the S.Miami dealer. 2nd example of why the Brickell location is full of crooks. In July 2019, the battery on my first BMW kept dying and needed to be jumped. So, I diligently took it to the S.Miami dealer to have it checked. The battery was completely discharged so they charged it and kept if for several days to ensure it would run. Five months later, on November 29th, the battery on my first BMW died again. Unfortunately, since my car died while I was in Miami Shores, the Brickell BMW location was the nearest I felt comfortable driving to after jumping the car this 2nd time around. HUGE MISTAKE!!! The S.Miami dealer was over 20 miles farther. I won't bore you, but Kristopher Barres wouldn't call me to discuss the problem with my car, he wanted to handle everything via text. Texting me that "vehicle batter is exhausted and needs to be replaced ... issue was not considered a warranty matter ... therefore the cost of the battery replacement is $460 plus tax" - for me to pay!!! Who texts such a thing?! I spoke with Kristopher Barres on the phone and asked to speak with a manager which he refuses me. He tells me that the ignition switch was left on in the car by me or by a valet or children. I told him I hadn't left the car on, have no children and certainly don't valet our cars. --- How come this reason was not brought up in my initial visit to the S.FL dealer when the battery died? --- No one was able to coherently and with certainty explain how both issues are completely unrelated. They both resulted in dead batteries that had to be jumped to start the car. --- All I hear is that this 2nd time, the ignition switch was left on and that it's my fault (vehicle owner) not a vehicle issue/battery fault. Hence, the vehicle owner has to pay to replace the battery ---- when in July the car was deemed OK enough where I was allowed to drive out with it. I'm extremely frustrated and irritated that I found myself having to bring my car to Brickell motors when all I knew was the shadiness of the sales guy, we dealt with on Oct.2018. But most importantly I'm extremely dissatisfied that dealers like the Brickell BMW is allowed to operate. BTW, I ended up removing my car from Brickell BMW and took it to the S.Miami dealer where they replaced the battery under the warranty. They found out that the battery was defective. read more

I got into car accident on New Year's Eve, after finalizing my reports and insurance claims I decided to take my car to Braman BMW for repairs because I've serviced with them in the past. This time around I thought I would receive the same service but I was and am still completely exhausted and dissatisfied with the service and communication from Braman. I dropped my car off at the body and collision center late February. Fast forward until today I am still without my vehicle I went months without receiving a update or notification from Braman until I decided to apply pressure and reach out to them myself to get a update. I was then given a WEAK apology and notified Braman was down for a MONTH with technical issues. As a manager I know what it is like to manage a multi million dollar business and deal with different clientele. The fact that Braman Miami as a brand has been in business for over 40 years and built a reputation of being one of the best dealers in south Florida so claim to be allow things like this to happen with no sense of organization is ridiculous. It has been more 6 months since I dropped my vehicle off for repairs. Despite the fact you have to reach out to my insurance for settlements on payments for parts IT SHOULD NOT TAKE 6 months to reach an agreement. If I am to give an estimate it is going to be 7 or 8 months before I get my vehicle back from repairs for something I felt could have been done within 3 months TOPS!! after reading the previous reviews and seeing the things that gets brushed under the cracks I will not have the same situation happen again. For my 8th BMW, I decided to go to Braman the first time. Very bad Sales service after the deal is concluded. I will never refer someone to that dealership. 1st appointment to sign the deal on July 7, the car wasn't ready. I seal the deal because the car would have been ready the next day at 10:00 am. A phone call on Saturday to postpone to 1:00pm. A 2nd call to postpone to 2:30. A 3rd phone call to inform me that a mistake happened . My car is not ready. I was going on vacation and planned to pick it up on July 17. Meanwhile, they had to fix the bumper, get me the 2nd car key and floor mats. When picking up the car, nothing has been done. After begging for 1 month and a half, I got the floor mats. Never receive a phone call to fix the bumper as promised. I texted the salesman, he said the key is in back order. Finally the key is ready. I left work today to pick up the key. After wasting 30 minutes from Sales to Parts back and forth 4 times, I was told the was never ordered. I recently stopped by this BMW dealership because I heard that they were trying to move some electric vehicles so I figure I would look at the deals. I was stunned at the level blatant robbery in these "special". They showed me a deal on an X3, here are the terms:$49k, the lease interest is 5%, oh and they were not budging much on the MSRP either, so they wanted a down payment if you wanted lower payments. Now, for all of you who actually swallow this pile of garbage, lets walk thru the numbers. First, between the dealers and BMW they have inflated the price on these vehicles by at least 25% since the pandemic, keep that in mind. Now, if you give any down payment, like they want, on a lease and while driving off the lot the car gets totaled. What do you think happens to the five thousand dollars these guys want you to put down? It disappears, like most of their promises. So if we work with the car at $49k, they tell you residual percent is 57% range for the sake of argument. Here are some figures, mind you these figures are not including the down payment they suckered you into giving, or the fancy dealer's fees (typically $1500), oh and the fee to turn in the car $995. Which said fee is so the dealer could discount that from purchasing price. See, BMW forces the dealers to buy the car at end of your lease. So, the more they charge you for tires and whatnot, the cheaper they get the car. Also, let's remember BMW does the financing, they make an extract $2k every year on your lease from the interest. You guys want to know the level of theft, the payment below was I paid for an x5 which was $73k with all the bells and whistles a few years ago. read more

Honestly the staff isn't very friendly here but I was lucky to get Elmer. I've had trouble with my car twice and he took care of both situations as if I were a personal friend. I really wouldn't trust or work with the others. The cashiers are even rude and seem like they do not want to be there. However my car is always fixed quickly, they have awesome loaners for you to drive while your car is being serviced and the mechanical work is top of the line. Elmer keeps in contact via text with vehicle updates and status, so I am never worried or wondering about the car. So if you come to this location make sure you ask for Elmer !!! read more

I currently leased a BMW from here. I've always brought my BMW to get serviced at this dealer. Everything for the most part has been good except it today the door hinge on my car started making a noise and it seems that it is a that just needs to be tightened as I can see that it's loose. I live right down the street so I figured I would take it to the service department and they can just tighten the bolt which should not take more than 15 seconds to do. I drove up to the service area ,showed the loose bolt to the advisor, and he quickly informed me that it would be 1.5 hours to 2 hours. I pleaded with him to see if a mechanic can just take a quick look at it, but he was quick to say that they are under staffed and too busy. Such a shame, he didn't even try to help. If he would have just spent 1 minute of his time to call a mechanic and perhaps go above and beyond for a quick fix they. My lease is up in two months and being that this is the nearest BMW dealer, I will not be leasing another BMW based on this experience. Only other missed detail was that they did not wash my vehicle thoroughly or maybe they don't hand wash their vehicles when their being left for service but it was okay because I'm overall thankful and happy with the service I was provided. Had my cars first service here. Brought in early Thursday and told a recall required it to take more than a day, no problem gave me a loaner. Called me a 1 pm next day to say okay to pick up. Got there at 2:30, went to cashier got my receipt to give to valet for my car pick up 2:45. 3:10 no car, asked valet person and assistants, couldn't speak English or find my car ( insulting). Went inside for supervisor who came out asked questions and made a couple of calls and determined my car keys were already pulled, so some must be looking for the car. He left, 10 minutes more, no car. It's coming I was told, in Spanish Couple more minutes I see my car and it turns around because after all this they forgot to wash it. Braman BMW Miami - Car Dealers Near Me - Miami, Florida

My review is 2 part. The 1st part is related to their sales department and the 2nd is related to the service aspect. Part 1: (note: i did NOT go through the new car buying process with Braman. I moved to Miami in the middle of my 3 year lease. For the record, I had an amazing experience with the car buying process at BMW Freehold, NJ and genuinely do not believe that BMW dealerships are dirty) My 3 year lease was coming due in the summer of 2010 and I had already crunched my own numbers and decided that keeping my car was the best financial option, given my low mileage vs. what was already amortized. Knowing this, I go into the Braman dealer to buy out my car. The process should be fast and simple and i had already brought all my paperwork with me. I was greeted by the sales associate named Amir. I told him that i was here to buy out my lease and not there to buy a new car. At first, things were smooth, we talked about the interest rate, whether i want to certify my car, all the customary things, everything was going smooth. Then, things turned sour QUICK. Because I wanted to certify my car going forward, Amir asked for my keys so that he could bring my car to get it checked out with service so that everything looked smooth before they certify my car. This might have been where i let my guard down - i gave him my key and waited at his desk while he took my car away. 15-20 minutes later, he came back with a distressed look and told me that ALL four of my wheels were completely bent, and that ALL four of my tires also had bubbles on them. Not only that, he said that my car's alignment was completely off. He said that i would have to fix all those problems so that they are in certifiable condition. This is where Amir completely screwed himself and showed his hand. He said that he had never seen this problem before and that it would likely be a much better deal for me to just buy a new car and return my leased car in current condition. Logically, i asked why wouldn't I get penalized returning this leased car in this condition. He said that he would keep the condition of the car under the table if I were to return my lease and buy a new car. How many customers have you really taken as idiots, Amir? It was obvious from the start that my car would be much more valuable to the dealership because of the low mileage I had accumulated over the last 3 years (18,000 miles) vs. what I had leased for (30,000 miles over 3 years). Keeping calm, I responded that I just had a new wheel and tire put in a couple months ago by my trusty service advisor Luca (part 2 to come). And also I told him I would have no issues replacing all my tires and wheels if that were really true because I had purchased wheel & tire insurance and they would get replaced for free. At the end, I told Amir i would think about this situation and i bounced the f--k out as soon as I could. On the way home, i stopped by a Pepboys and just asked one of the guys in the back to quickly check out my alignment and tires, superficially. No problems there, except maybe for a bubble in one of my tires. I asked my boyfriend to bring my car in to the service dept the next day or 2 to get it checked out by my trusty service advisor. To noone's surprise, my wheels and tires were NOT f--ed up. Wow i totally did not see that coming, said myself in a sarcastic tone. The icing on top was that Amir accidentally ran into my boyfriend while on the way out of the service dept. BOOM. Over the next week, I called Amir professionally and said I would like to continue with my lease buyout with no certification (god i would never let him even touch my key again) and he said nothing except that he transferred me over to the finance manager to complete my paperwork. Never heard from Amir ever again. To this day, it still surprises me how much he tried to hustle to get a new sale even though i was firm just on buying out my lease from the very beginning. Unbelievable. It was THE dirtiest and sleeziest experience I had ever gone through, and I lived in Miami, for crying out loud. Part 2: The lone bright star of Braman is, in my opinion, their service department. Luca was my service advisor and he had been nothing but helpful during the 2 years that he was responsible for my car. My 335i with sports package (low suspension, larger tires) was sometimes no match for some of the Miami streets. He took care of all my issues over the years with great care, friendliness, and quickness. I am actually surprised by some of the negative comments said of him here. Also always received good loaner cars. Zero complaints on their service. read more

After moving from Massachusetts to Florida with my 128i from 2011, I obviously needed a shop to perform standard repairs and service. I clearly DO NOT RECOMMEND to go there. This dealership is ripping you off. I first stopped at Braman BMW Service for the regular service, which I found to be quite expensive (and the service guys are actually pushing you for unnecessary maintenance items), but for a first one, I gave it a pass. Two days ago, I had an issue that needed a diagnostic: car running rough, seamed like misfiring on one or multiple cylinders. Took it there, Braman read the information from the key, detected misfire codes and suggestion to replace coils & spark plugs (all of the 6). Cost me $250 flat fee for diagnostic. Service adviser calls back an hour later, saying that two cylinders have misfire and that it will cost me $1600. INSANE! 1h job (literally on this 128i model): $750 for the labor and $850 for the parts!!! Needless to say that I run away, bought the spark plugs and the coils and did the job myself, in 2h time, for a non mechanic. Last but not least: I paid $250 for the diagnostic, and all I got was a lousy sticky note with #3 / #5 on it. Ridiculous. read more

re: braman bmw service dept. first of all, i went there for what my car's software system was indicating: oil check and engine check. the service rep did not bother to check that at all. all he was interested was to open up a haven of check-ups and see how to increase my bill. nobody bothered to update my system. i do not trust the service center at braman. they asked me to come back to review the software system and i am thinking about it because i really do not trust them. (the sales department at braman bmw, i have no issues.) bottom line - the service department at braman bmw is awful and bad service, especially to a new bmw owner. read more

How many times do you have to have service issues before you stop going to a place. I've learned my lesson. A simple service to my vehicle and they can not even put on the wipers the correct way. Or, I can talk about the absence in communication in appointments. I will make the drive to South Motors from now on. read more

I've had several BMWs throughout the years and most of my service has been at Braman but no more. While their service is comparable to other BMW dealers, there hourly labor rate is not. I called to schedule some work but was told it's $295 just to diagnose an issue and $360 per hour for labor. This is much more expensive than the other SoFL dealers. I usually chose to have the dealer do my work because there's never a problem with them guaranteeing it but Braman is out of the question at $360 per hour. It's simply obscene and taking advantage of people who can't take the time to travel to South Dade or Ft Lauderdale. I just got a price from the Braman body shop on a part I need to buy. They want $210 for a part they sell out of the dealer parts office for $170 that sells online for $127. AND.... they want an hour labor for doing a 15 min job. Who ever thought that owning a car dealer would be so profitable. Almost forgot...... I really didn't get my part price from Braman. I had to call another dealer because the primadonnas in the parts department wouldn't give me any assistance unless I could give them the serial number.....apparently all cars the same year make and model are different. I asked them to hold on for a moment while I get the registration out of my wallet and they put me on hold..........to never return. I called their supervisor who apparently is too busy to speak with the likes of a lowly customer. I don't see any changes in the near future because they have many other customers willing to be abused. read more
