The atmosphere is a mix of appreciating the past with a touch of Austin artisan. The pottery is handmade by the proprietor. The coffee cups fit your hand perfectly! So perfect, I purchased one to take home. The food itself is really good and fairly priced. Everything was done to my preferences. (Over medium -right on the money!) The hollandaise sauce was exactly to my taste with the lemon evident but not overpowering. I would have purchased a pint of that to take with me too but didn't think to ask at the moment! The owners are personable and the business was steady. I would go out of my way to come here again.

Mostly bread crumbs given the size. The sauces were mid. The aoli with the rice balls was bright yellow with dye and not very flavorful. The sauce with the pork belly and Brussels was so thin it all sat at the bottom of the dish. The "kimch" was more like a slaw. Kimchi is fermented and sits for days developing, this was tossed right before service. So much potential. It's clean, air conditioned, and you get all the ice water you can drink. Pretty good for a hot summer day. May come back and skip the food.

Thuy had the catfish. Burger was OK. Nothing fancy. Just your basic burger with LOPT (lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato). Thuy's catfish is more noteworthy. I don't think it was a frozen product, and do believe it was cornmeal battered to order, as where the onion rings, which came highly recommended. Very tasty. It was a neat dining experience, and glad we tried it. Also, special shout out to the woman working the dinning room. I forgot her name, but she was super sweet and friendly, and answered our numerous questions with a smile. Oh, and the tip on the onions rinds was appreciated. We are glad we ordered them! The restaurant is very clean and larger than I expected on the inside. We have had it twice now, it's delicious. The sweet family that runs the restaurant is awesome. The waiters are friendly and attentive. The food is over the top. We have only had the Mexican food but the Italian sounds amazing too. We will try it another time. My daughter had butter noodles and loved them. The Mexican food is so authentic.
