Box received with 9 out of twelve donuts

Ordered a dozen (12) donuts online to the tune of $62. Had my grandson pick up the order for ride home to DE. Upon arrival at home, we realized the box had 9 donuts. Called and complained. Was told they were going to "look into what happened" and call me back. No call back received.

This was a delivery. Craving donuts came across to this spot. We ordered the strawberry shortcake, s'mores, fruity pebbles, m&m donuts. The strawberry shortcake was definitely hands down our favorite. Second runner up was the fruity pebbles then s'mores. Went there are few times after and always loved the donuts. It's a small and cozy spot

    Banana Creme & Maple Bacon!

There was a time in my life where I could easily eat a donut a day, not gain a pound, and never step foot in a dentist's office. Those days are long gone, though, so when it's Donut Day in the present, it is special. I've recently made a habit of populating the small business donut shops that are nearby (and intend to branch out further) in an attempt to avoid that ol' pink and brown fast food company that simply defrosts their donuts. Brandon's fell squarely on my radar and I couldn't be happier it did. When I walked in I was faced with the toughest decision as trays of colorful sugar bombs lay vertical in a showcase window. I went with a banana creme donut and maple bacon. The maple bacon was too hard to turn down this morning because they had come right out of the oven (or is it fryer?) I had noticed the employee behind the counter sprinkling the bacon on top and asked if I could have one of those, which she obliged. The banana creme was my more adventurous choice since it was stacked pretty high with whipped cream and bananas sandwiched between two donut halves, one slathered with chocolate. The maple bacon? Utterly euphoric. Bonus points for still being warm when I bit into it. I felt my dopamine sensors explode as I munched through each pillowy bite coated with silky maple frosting and bits of salty bacon to add texture and taste. The banana creme? Not quite as good and a challenge to eat. The cream in the middle was smooth and light and partnered with a chunk of banana with each bite, while the donut halves were firm and doing their best to keep things together with each bite, although failing slightly. Considering donuts are not a fork and knife-type of experience, this may not have been the best choice on my part. All in all, the donuts at Brandon's Donuts are tasty, comforting, and worth every bit of Cheat Day Guilt that one might experience when you reach my age. I removed a star simply for the dining in space, which appeared a little unkempt and under-maintained -- not very welcoming. And although the banana creme donut was structurally a bit of chaos, the flavor and effort t create it won me over.

It's truly shocking to me how much NY is lacking in classic mom 'n pop donut shops. Like enough with the bougey, oversized gourmet donuts. We get it. And Dunkin' doesn't count. I most often crave a classic, old fashioned chocolate donut and have yet to find a place to get one. If anyone knows of one, I'm all ears! Anyway, Brandon's Donuts isn't quite a mom 'n pop shop and their donuts aren't quite "classic" but you *can* get a plain-ish donut that is slightly reminiscent of a classic. They're actually fully customizable -- you pick a base, a frosting, and toppings, or select from a pre-made creation. I've only ever gotten a pre-made chocolate and a pre-made birthday cake donut, both of which were yummy and very much hit the spot. Fun fact: If you're dining at Court Street Tavern next door, you can order a trio of Brandon's Donuts off their brunch menu.

Build it and they will come.

I gotta say I avoided Brandon's Donuts for a while because I didn't know. I didn't know what it was about. I should've given them a chance and then I would understand. It's pretty, pretty, pretty good. Yeah, that's a Curb reference ok. But in all seriousness this is a place of pure treats. These are the kind of donuts you eat with a knife and fork. That's a good thing. It's a full customized dessert experience and at what overall is a reasonable price in NYC. I mean, you can get a cookie for the same price (ahem, chip city). Big props for taking Apple Pay, having cute branded boxes and bags as well as quality donuts and toppings. I'm now a converted fan of B's Ds and if you ever felt it was "just another donut spot" you deserve to check it out yourself too.

I've lived in the area for over a year now and tried every donut in a 2 mile radius. Brandon's wins in all categories for me (& my husband, a self-proclaimed donut aficionado). The store is cute and clean-- located in a pretty pocked of Carroll Gardens. The staff seems happy. I don't know his name, but the manager with glasses is always so helpful and nice. He recommended the Cinnamon Sugar with Apple Cider Glaze- and it's the best cake donut I've ever had. Happy to have Brandon's in the neighborhood!

I went in a whim as I passed by. Got the red velvet but was told they're small so I can choose another. I went with chocolate. I shared them with my friend and we both enjoyed them a lot. They were very lightly sweet and cakey. I could have had another one they were so good.

So many flavors, so funky. I tried allllll the way from crown heights to here for donuts in the middle of winter in the night so you know it's good!! I got the strawberry and cream for traditional and customized everything else. My son tore them up!!! Nice vibe in the shop too!! Good music playing!!!

Solid donuts! I think the presentation wins out over the flavor, the dough was a bit on the dry side, and the frosting was a bit too hard. I think the gingerbread donut with it's festive spices, super sweet sprinkles, and a gingerbread cookie on top was definitely the winning choice, flavorings tend to make the better donut here.

I think these are some of the best cake donuts I've had. Cake donuts were never really my thing but I picked up a box of these donuts the other day and they were so delicious. They were decorated beautifully and the flavors were on point. The donuts were the perfect amount of crispy on the outside while soft and fluffy on the inside. The frosting was so good. I think one of the donuts had some sort of banana cream on the inside with chocolate glaze on the top and that one was my favorite. Their raspberry glaze/frosting is really good too. I will definitely be back!

Haven't had a donut in a long time. The last time I had a donut they were from, Dunkin' donuts. They were still as heck. SmH I told myself never again. Until my cousin took with this area and I try a donut. OmG, it was sooooo yummy!
