A cute modern coffee shop in the historic district area in Jersey city. Interesting combinations in terms of drinks and unique flavors for their pastries as well. We had the strawberry yuzu matcha (perfect if you're into fruity drinks ofc), the lavender latte which had plenty of floral notes to it & a black sesame bun which reminded me of a Chinese pineapple bun but with black sesame lol. Would definitely come back to try some other things they have there when I'm in the area.

New spot in the neighborhood, good coffee and decent price. Their baked goods are interesting and worth a try like their cinnamon roll. Not the usual kind but not too sweet, goes well with your coffee. Inside is small, no frills & to go only

Sorry this was not good. Their masa cornbread was a tasteless brick. It was so dense and I truly could not taste a thing. The texture was terrible. The orange olive oil cake was better because the orange icing was good. However, it was described to me as light and airy, and I would not say that. It's pretty dense. It could be that these got stale since I came at 2pm, but I doubt that that's why.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Butter! The space (formerly Rabble & Lion) has been transformed into a tightly curated bakery that feels intentional and welcoming. I've passed by this spot early in the morning on my way to work and watched the prep happening - you can tell immediately that everything is crafted with genuine love and care. So far, I've tried the masa azul corn cake and the banoffee doughnut, and both were incredible. The textures are spot on, and nothing feels mass-produced. There's almost always a good crowd inside, which is no surprise given the quality. I haven't tried the croissants yet, but they are next on my list! If you're looking for a neighborhood spot that prioritizes craft over everything else, this is it.

I ordered the Iced Vanilla Protein Cold Brew, and my mom went with the French Velvet Latte (lavender and vanilla). Both drinks were delicious and well-balanced. The French Velvet in particular had a lovely floral flavor without being overpowering. My only complaint is that it felt a bit small for the price. Our group also picked up a few croissants, and everyone enjoyed them. They leaned more sweet than savory, which isn't usually my preference, but they were still tasty. The drink menu offers plenty of variety, though the pastry selection is fairly limited, and the pastries aren't baked in-house. The real standout here is the vibe. Call Me Mia is quaint but incredibly chic. The decor feels thoughtfully curated, with vintage telephones displayed in elegant frames, antique teapots, moka pots, and other charming touches throughout the space. It feels cozy, stylish, and very Instagram-worthy without trying too hard. As for service, the barista was efficient and knew what he was doing, but he came across as a bit short and matter-of-fact. Not rude, just not particularly warm or welcoming. Still, the drinks were excellent, so he definitely delivered where it mattered most. Overall, I'd happily stop back for another coffee and to soak in the beautiful atmosphere. If you're looking for a stylish coffee shop with creative drinks, Call Me Mia is worth a visit.

The kids' play area is a fantastic touch for families, and the staff couldn't be more friendly or hospitable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners during one of our visits, and they were wonderful. Everything we tried was excellent, including the hot chocolate, vanilla protein cold brew, and the cappuccino. I also really enjoyed the croissant, and the rest of the baked goods looked just as tempting. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The Pineapple Bobo with coconut milk was another good one. Pineapple and boba worked surprisingly well together. Black Grape Cheese is still my go-to. I always get it with no sugar and it's honestly not sweet at all. Mango Sago is my husband's favorite. Even with no added sugar, it's still naturally sweet because the mango is so ripe. For fresh fruit tea in JC, this is still my favorite spot. Get the seasonal fruit drinks while they're available. And you might get lucky and see the cute guy working behind the counter.

One word - YUM! Love…read moretheir lavender rose latte and the variety of flavors offered here. Tried their donuts and they're tasty - more on the baked, cake type donut. I do suggest small boxes for the donuts that have a whipped topping. I had an almond donut with a whipped topping and it was tricky to take out the bag without getting the cream lost inside. The Belgium bacon, egg and cheese was really tasty and filling. Eggs were cooked nicely, bacon was the perfect saltiness to it (but I did expect sliced of bacon not crumbled as it wasn't specified on the menu), I had the maple syrup on the side and I loved being able to just dip it when I wanted as opposed to having it mixed in the sandwich as it originally is made. Service was great - friendly, welcoming and helpful for a first timer! (Well, second after this review lol). Ambience is laid back. Great for gathering with friends or enjoying a cafe alone.
