I went to buy a number of items I bought a refrigerator for my jewelry store I was told and given I see the paper that said there was a $50 rebate after I paid for the refrigerator I was told I had to go to a second location to pick it up the next day which was not OK with me so I asked him to have it sent to the store which they did So that's two trips to the store when I went to fill out the rebate papers I saw that they were expired I called the manager at the store who emailed me the right ones and it only said $25 rebate I called the store manager again he told me I was wrong and that it was only 25 to bad I proceeded to take a picture and email him or text him a copy of the one I had that was said 50 and the 50 was circled he told me I had to come back to the store for the retard third trup I had paid with for the refrigerator with $100 visa gift card and the rest in cash approximately 300 the girl threw away the visa gift card because it was empty when I went to get my refund they put it back to the visa gift card that they were employee had thrown away it took me 40 minutes to get the $26.50 refund I will never shop at Brandsmart again read more

Absolute worst customer service ever. Normally you go in the store and employees are chasing you down. I literally stood in car audio for 20 minutes while employees just sat in recliners or against shelves. I asked for assistance and they were all of a sudden getting info for someone. I took my 3 year old and went to the phone section to get an iPhone charger at least before we left. We ended up standing there for another 20 minutes before being asked if we needed help. As we waited for that employee another employee in that section started to help someone from another section rather then seeing who was next in her own section. I again asked if there was anyone that could sell me a phone charger really fast because now my 3 year old needs the restroom and if I walk away it's another hour wait. We decided to leave and all of a sudden they say they will help me but they hadn't finished with the person they had. Mean while I counted 8 employees sitting around talking to managers. Then when we went back we went just for a TV in mind and ended up buying two plasma tv s. The Samsung 42" and the LG 26", and at end it came to the cost of just the 42" was in Best Buy and Sears. Me and my family went into brandsmart to buy our kitchen appliances. The service was pretty good they were very nice and helpful while we were buying everything. When we bought everything they said we would get everything in 15 days. We have only received one item of 3 and it has been over a month. We went to see what was going on and they had another package there but they had not informed us about it. My other package comes September 24th. They did not tell us it would take so long and never updated us if it would be coming later or that it is at the store ready to pick up. They need to improve on this. read more

Just bought a PA-1000 Bluetooth speaker for home parties and as soon as I open the box a weird smell came out the box. I didnt think nothing of it so I plug it in and connect my phone to it for the first test. Nothing! No sound and the smell comes back. Burn smell coming out the ports of the speaker so I check the actual box where the speaker came in and it looks like it was a returned item that got thrown back on the floor. Maybe for the exact same reason. That tells me no one bothered to ask what was wrong with it or why its getting returned. Well now i know I shall open the box so it can be tested in front of me before i purchase another speaker from them. Will be returning it to the store it came from for another speaker and I say again will make them open it before I take another one home. read more

I purchased a wine cooler/refrigerator about 2 weeks ago and it showed up damaged less than a week later. It was damaged in the factory, NOT the shipment method. The outdoor box had been stapled along one seam and at each stapled spot, the outside edge of the fridge had rippled. Per Brandsmart USA, shipping is NOT reimbursed - I paid $100 to have this thing shipped to me and UPS charged me $182 to ship it back! The unit itself (GE Profile Wine Cooler - 29 bottle capacity) cost $298 - this has been a horrible online experience to be learned from. I wish I had just stuck with Home Depot - at least I would have been reimbursed all my money. I will never shop Brandsmart USA, nor recommend to anyone. LOOK AT THE RETURN POLICY!!! read more

I went in with my family Saturday afternoon needing to purchase a new refrigerator. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. Showed us all our options, took the time to take the measurements we needed and we were able to make a decision fairly quick. Delivery was set up for the following Tuesday. Tuesday came, delivery time was confirmed and they arrived in a timely manner. We were very impressed with service and efficiency of delivery. read more

We bought the stackable front loader Frigidaire washer and dryer. When it was delivered they stacked the unit at the truck. I notice after they had stacked it that the dryer was not flush with the washer it was offset by 2-3 inches. Also, he handed me longer mounting brackets. I said I wanted it flush and he said it was now glued and could not be moved. He should have ask me prior to mounting it how we wanted it - I'm the customer! He asked about the power cable and I handed him my old cable and he said he could not use it due to responsibility. The salesmen had said I could use my old power cable and hoses (my hoses are the reinforced stainless steel). The installer said he could not use the hoses or the power cord. When he brought it to my unit I ask about leveling and he said he it was already level. So I uninstalled the Dryer and moved it so it was flush, as it was in the store, installed my hose and power cable, had to level the washer since it was NOT level, and had to install the dryer hose. It took me approx 2 hours to do this. Also, after talking to customer service, I suggested in the future for good customer relations, assuming items are not damaged they should use the customer hoses and power cable, but to make a notation on the paper work that they did this, and assume no responsibility. Also, my wife said she did not like the way the door opened on the dryer and apparently it can be moved, customer relations said that the salesmen had to note this on the receipt, and should have discussed this with us. This was never discussed.... He had no conversation about this. Very disappointed in Brands Mart installation. And believe that sales people should be better versed on washer/dryer conversations with buyers. Also, I'm not sure the unit is level and I didn't have a level. I'd like them to return and check to assure I have leveled properly. read more

Horrible customer service. It took me over 30 minutes to make a return because their employees are too busy socializing instead of helping customers. They had to call a manager to approve my return and called him numerous times on the radio and he never showed up. Turns out, he was too busy sitting in his office to bother helping customers and didn't even acknowledge me or apologize for my long wait. After that fiasco, I was told that I had to go inside to actually get my money back on my item and waited in another ridiculous line. It's been a total nightmare dealing with BrandsMart USA. My elderly mother made the mistake of purchasing a new $800 refrigerator that broke down after only 4 months. One week later they have still not fixed the refrigerator and I have not even received a call back from the Service and Repair Manager despite 7-8 different attempts. And 4 different times they just hung up on me, I suppose hoping I would just go away. Then finally yesterday the repairman finally shows up and says the Compressor is but he doesn't carry it on his truck so the company will have to send another repairman "in a few days". Meanwhile my mother has been without a refrigerator for a week and counting!!! So I called on her behalf again today and again the girl who answered hung up on me as soon as I explained the problem. So I called back again and this time they put me through to an Answering Machine to leave a message. Again I asked to speak to the manager and so far NO call back from the manager. This has got to be the worst company in the world to do business with. How do they stay in business when they have absolutely NO idea how to treat customers and how to honor their warranties? I honestly do NOT understand it. Stay away, far away unless you want total aggravation. I am getting ready to report them to the Dade County Consumer Protection Agency if I don't hear back within 24 hours. I have had it with these people. read more

LIARS!!! Purchased extended warranty for my TV because they said I would not have to fight with the manufacturer-that I would get my TV replaced if it could not be repaired by brandsmart. I came back 2 months later because the TV was damaged. was told I needed to contact Panasonic directly because "for this TV in particular", I need to deal with Panasonic the first year. They came out twice and weren't able to fix the tv. Called back and ticket was closed stating issue was resolved. After the year, went back to brandsmart, but now they said I need to contact another warranty company to try to fix the TV. Jose Cabrera, the assistant general manager speak English and Spanish too, (like Sam) and is also a very nice person, able spent all the time in the world, to find what you were looking for and at the best price. Yeudis Guzman is a seller in the TV department and was the real reason that motivated me to start to write this review. He is a very knowledge person in digital technology and is updated in all the different features and technologies that have different kind of TV manufacture. He guide me to buy a 4K OLEDC6 TV from LG and I had have the best experience in video quality TV at home. Thank you Yeudis, you are the best and I really appreciated all you have done to help me. I was thinking that you have won a new friend. I also get in touch with Vladimir Gus in the same TV department and is a very nice and knowledge person too. Well I have to say that our experience this time around at the South Dade Brandsmart was not very positive, especially when it came to the Service Department. My wife and I purchased a dishwasher and garbage disposal. A day after the garbage disposal was installed it started to leak. I called the number on July 8, 2020 for the south Dade store and I thought I reached the store. However, it ended up being a call center. I went ahead and provided them the information on the leaking garbage disposal and they scheduled for July 28. On July 28 the service department called me to let me know that the service is not covered for the garbage disposal. I had indicated that it was purchased on June 26. The call that I received was from the call center. They transferred me to the south Dade store and I had to once again repeat the request for service. They went ahead and rescheduled my service appointment for August 5 between 2:00 pm & 5:00 pm. On August 5 at 12:00 pm I received a ring on my ring doorbell app and I saw it was a Brandsmart employee. Thank God my brother in law was home if not I would have missed the appointment. They were supposed to be at my residence between 2:00 and 5:00pm. The garbage disposal was repaired and Im thankful for that. However there has to be coordination between the service dispatcher and the technician. Also the hold times contacting the store is ridiculous. Being on hold for 15 minutes and being bounced around when you're trying to contact the store itself and the call center answers instead. read more

Brandsmart prices are okay. Once in a while you'll get a good deal on certain items. Of course, nowadays there's a lot more competition and you can find better deals online many times. Here's where I find there's a problem there. The return policy is ridiculous. I will tell my experience: I purchase a food processor and didn't notice the price I paid because I didn't see it on the screen when I was signing. After walking out, I see that I paid $40 more for the item than the price they had advertised. I immediately go back and have to go to their returns area separate from the store itself. You take a number and WAIT. Then they give you a credit slip. In my case I just wanted the difference taken off my credit card and leave with my merchandise. Instead, they give you a credit slip, take the merchandise from you and make you go back in to the store with the credit slip, go get the same item again from the store shelf and stand in yet ANOTHER LINE to get your credit and buy the item again. RIDICULOUS! I had to stand in another line for another 20 minutes again. SO now we're talking three lines in total. Needless to say, I asked for my money back and didn't bother to buy the item from them. I told the sales lady about it and that she should mention it to them and she said, "Oh, they know." In other words, nobody cares. If I can buy it somewhere else, I will. At least I now I won't have to waste so much time for a simple transaction. read more

I was a loyal customer of Brandsmart, i say was because after today im done with them. My story started online, i purchased and item and it gave an error at checkout, well it charged my credit card x3 yet it didnt go through. I called, they said they would cancel 2 and process 1, a week later they said they had to cancel the order because there was a glitch in the system, fine. Week later still have not gotten any of my 3 charges back, they will send it again, week later finally got it. I decide to go to store, it said item was in stock at this store.m, i get there, they dont have it, i have to order it and no delivery i will need to pick it up at store, this is friday, i check monday the guy said the item didnt arrive, check tuesday still hasnt arrived ask the GM he said he will look into it but it should arrive wednesday, well now i have to wait till next week, meanwhile my house security system is off due to no having my item. My husband and I needed a new washer and dryer. I suggested he go to Best Buy to make the purchase (I live out of state). Being long standing Floridians, he decided to go to BrandsMart against my better judgement. The Washer had problems right off the bat, which sometimes happens and not Brandsmart's fault. However, how they have handled a replacement, and now a full pickup for all equipment when they failed to correct the problem immediately with a replacement, has been the worst customer service you could envision. They purposely give you the run around from customer service rep to manager, customer service treats you rudely even at the start, have required that he come back to the store multiple times rather than solve the issues by phone after they screwed up the order for pickup (showed up to our house to only pick up the washer not the drawer and then refused to take either), and we still wait for the final pickup after 3 weeks of getting the worst run around we have ever seen. It's a shame because we have been shopping at BrandsMart for more that 40 years and in today's environment getting customer service right is so important to maintaining customer base. (By the way Best Buy will match their price so they don't even have better pricing to compensate for the pain and suffering of their purposefully misdirected customer service). read more

I agree that Brandsmart has a lot of items at decent prices but I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service offered at the store. I experience first hand their level of customer service at their Returns dept and I am so discouraged that I will never, and I mean never shop at this store again. The reps are rude and do not have any people skills what so ever. I think that the same level of service you receive on the floor you should be offered when returning an item. My encouragement to potential shoppers is let this store be your last option. Best buy for example has great deals and the service offered is much higher to that of Brandsmart. The choice is yours but just hope that you do not have to return any item. read more

I carefully searched the carton and wrappings but a remote control was not found. The other items were found. I later called your store and related the above. Firstly your agent asked me if I was sure that the item included a remote. He later checked and acknowledged that a remote was included. After several waiting periods, I was told that the store did not have a spare remote control and that I should contact the manufacturer, JBL, who should have packed a remote in the carton. I find that the response by BrandsMart to be totally unsatisfactory, if not irresponsible. Why should the customer have the responsibility to deal with JBL over the missing remote? I purchased the item from BrandsMart, not JBL. I expected that BrandsMart would provide me with a remote control which I can arrange to be collected or you could mail it to a relative in Miami. We have bought all of our appliances from brandsmart for years. We always buy warranties for everything. Well I had just had surgery and was out of town to recover. I had a loud clanking coming from the fridge, so I called brandsmart to report this. They told me that they ha to hear the sound before they would send anybody to come look at it. Again we bought a 5 yr warranty. So anyway while I was out of town recovering my fridge went out. So I called brandsmart to report this. Took a week but the guy came out and said it was non repairable. So I called brandsmart and told them. Short story they screwed me over I lost $1000 worth of food,they sent a check for $123 for food loss. They Dicked me around for 2 months before we finally got a store credit. I wanted a complete refund so we could go to Best Buy!!!!!! Well finally got store credit and went up there.Now we live an hour away and we both work from 6am to 7pm. So we had to go up after 8pm. We go up picked another one out and it was delivered 4 days later. When the guys delivered it they had to back of the fridge pointing away from me so I couldn't see the back. They put it in and set it up, and yes I looked at it before they left. When my wife got home,she looked it over also. We sat down at the table to eat and noticed there was water all over the floor. So we pulled out the fridge and noticed that the back bottom was caved in. Was also leaking from both sides. After getting treated like shit, and ignored and dealing with all this for 2 months I was pissed. Ok so I called them and they said they would bring me a new one which was fine. Well I left town on a family emergency.The day they delivered the new one I get a call from my wife that it was leaking all over again. So again I had to call them back to come back and fix it. When they came back they disrespected my wife over and over which pissed me off again. When they had delivered it they didn't hook up the water line so it had leaked everywhere. Ok so then I get another call 2 days later and it is leaking again and again I'm going threw this bullshit all over again. I have told them over and over again how they should take real good care of me for all this trouble and my wife having to take off work for them to deliver and keep screwing up everything. I have told them I'm done with brandsmart I will never again step foot in that store again. I should have never taken 2 1/2 months to get a replacement, and I should have gotten more than $123 for all my food loss. They told me I could not get reimbursed for my food until it was delivered. Well I guess they should have paid for us to go out and eat for 2 people for breakfast,lunch,and dinner since I wasn't supposed to buy anymore food. Well at this time I have talked to my Attourney. I think they should give me a super big upgrade at their expense or maybe throw in a over the stove 2.0 microwave and free warranty. Can't believe how customer service is dead in this town. Spend $2000 on a washer and dryer and have to wait a week for delivery then on the day of delivery they don't show up don't call like I have nothing else to do with my day other than wait for them, I call after the 3 hour window passes and I'm told it will be another 2 hours so reluctantly I agree. I leave my house to go to the airport to pick up my mother and then in five minutes they call me to say will be there in 20 minutes I told them I won't be back for at least another hour and a half they said oh well we can't come back you have to get it delivered next week. I just bought a new house and I was gonna get a new TV, refrigerator and other stuff from them but not anymore. They couldn't care less that I sat there waiting all that time for them they couldn't care less that I was going to cancel if they didn't deliver today they just couldn't care less.
