Surprisingly small salad was warm, though it was packaged in a separate bag from pizza. Lettuce wilted, a few slices of tomato, lots of croutons. The supreme pizza included the advertised toppings of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, onions, olives. Ratio of vegies to meat was more vegies than meat for sure. We played "where is the sausage?" So we could each have a piece or two on our slices. Crust was chewy but not in a nice tasty way. Maybe it was not fresh or under done? Bill's Pizzas are popular and getting better every time he makes one. I love the Cowboy burger. We really wanted to like this place. Good - lots of TVs. They have some nice big wooden communal tables. Bad - the food. It's very expensive and bad. Kind of seemed like Costco reheated. The server seemed like he meant well but he brought out dirty glasses, didn't bring silverware until after food, brought food that wasn't correct (such as bacon garlic and Parmesan fries with the Parmesan on the bottom and no bacon). He also cleaned the table behind us by spraying cleanser, while we were eating. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Did I mention there were only 3 tables of people? read more

Ok ever have so much hope from a childhood memory restaurant and it comes up way short, way, way short? Tonight I decided to order from Brassass Saloon (the one in McDonald's Plaza) in Santa Rosa. They are offering large pizza, chicken tenders, fries, and coleslaw, with a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi. All for $44.99. The pizza was bland, the chicken tenders were decent, fries were ok, the coleslaw wasn't very good. It had an after taste that didn't sit well with me and other family members. We most likely won't go back due to the taste and quality of the food. I will not order from this place again. Went to dinner on Saturday night, not too late, and was told the kitchen wad closed but we could order from the grill. Husband ordered the burger, said it tasted like it was a frozen patty. I had the Pastrami sandwich, which was ok - they had put mustard on it and was way too much and over powering. Very expensive for what the food quality and service was. Discovered this hidden gem yesterday. It's where the Hey Misster Bar & Grill used to be. We had not planned to eat at that time, but decided to try the chicken tenders with fries and ranch dressing. The tenders were, indeed, quite tender. Fries - quality. The ranch dressing was way better than I hoped for. Soooo good. Housemade. We ordered a Caesar salad to take home, as a side for dinner. Also, very delicious despite it sitting the fridge for five hours. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Glad to have a new restaurant in Rincon Valley that is as good as this one. We just found out about this saloon a week ago because a friend was celebrating her birthday singing with her band. It is decked out as a cowboy bar, unexpected in this rather boring shopping center. We were nicely surprised to find the food and service excellent. We shared a delicious tri-tip sandwich with a side of perfectly done fries. I chatted with the owner when I sat at the bar and found she and her husband had owned this place for only a year. read more

I absolutely hate leaving a poor review, but I was swayed by the positive reviews on Yelp, and there was nothing good about this place. The staff are nice people, but they seem to be in the wrong business. The prices were ridiculously high for the quality of food, which was essentially processed, frozen, and reheated--with small portions at that. Service was slow, even though the restaurant is large and had very few customers. Santa Rosa has plenty of great food options offering excellent dishes at reasonable prices. This establishment needs to do some research, visit their competitors, and hire a new chef. read more

Seems like good people giving this a shot, but I think they should just run a bar only or need to hire a professional chef. Everything was just clearly frozen food and came out not seasoned at all. Which is whatever if it's just bar food, but the prices are insanely high for the quality they're putting out. If the place was cheap I'd probably not put this review out but there food isn't even something you can try. Unless you want a 26 dollar pizza that's a lot worse than a microwave pizza. Or if you want a grilled chicken meal for 28 dollars that's a frozen Tyson chicken patty. Seems like an okay place to come in only only only for a beer though. read more

The Brass Ass is just that.....Ass. Stopped in on Friday night for dinner, started with iced tea, musty tasting. Ordered the potato skins and a Pizza. This was a potato cut in half all that was put on it was sour cream, no bacon no cheese or green onion for $16. After 25 minutes we were asked if we wanted refills on the tea, no Thanks let's try a Diet Pepsi! Not a good choice either soda was very low on the syrup, tasted more like carbonated water with a bad taste. Came out 40 minutes later with the pizza and potato appetizer ordered for dinner, bland couldn't even taste the sauce. The Brass Ass should probably have stayed retired. read more

Just had my first pizza tonight. Was really good, but nothing like the original Brass Ass. I think they should make pizzas like the original and just charge more. Was good though and would definitely go there again. Cool place read more

Terrible! My husband found a nail in his steak. Both of our meals were cold. They were using windex to clean the tables. Never going back.
