One of the employees said, Ma'am do you need help w anything? I said, No, just looking. She said, Well, go ahead there's a lot to look at. That was nice of her. My friend hadn't shown up yet because, I got there early. So, I grabbed a seat and waited for her. I saw my neighbors and a friend from Church. The other Customers in the dining room were nice and smiled at me too. It was like your neighborhood meet up place. Lol. I wanted to get something healthy. So, I ordered the Aloha Chicken Sandwich. It was sweet! It was a hearty Grilled Chicken Breast in a Fluffy Hawaiian Sweet Bun with a Pineapple Ring, a slice of Tomato, fresh Spinach and Braum's tangy dipping sauce. However, they drowned my sandwich in sauce. Also, I wanted the Sandwich only but , I think the girl didn't know how to ring it up at the register. Oh well, my friend picked up the tab so, I let it go. I would definitely recommend Braum's and their Aloha Chicken Sandwich. Braum's is the local neighborhood grocery store and restaurant. Service? Drive thru employees tried to hand us ice creams that we didn't order, told them we only had the single cone not a bunch of ice creams. They handed us the cone and shut the door. We placed an order of 3 meals and extra sauce to go with it. I had to hand them the receipt back and she had the nerve to ask if we had our drinks yet. The same person we have only spoken with you. Once we had our food thankfully it was right but there was no extra Braum's sauce. I went inside to get the sauce and why is the manager telling me they only come in 20 and 32 oz sizes, so no you can't have more than 2 sauces. I asked what that has to do with a 2-4 oz sauce cup I was just in the drive thru and asked for extra sauce. She restated the statement. I took the 2 sauces and left this store. Getting a tire repaired across the street and came in for coffee and breakfast. I got the breakfast biscuit with coffee and yogurt. Clean looking and a handful of people. Front counter was super friendly and the place was spotless, no trash, etc. So to my surprise, when I retrieved my coffee, the "drink station" was stinky like old feet...just ugh and the tile floors were slippery. Like all over the restaurant. Sort of like "behind the counter, kitchen type" slippery. IN THE DINING ROOM. There was a gentleman with a cane walking around very gently, he felt it as did others. I wish I could post video of the slippery, greasy tile floors even as I walked to get my food order. Back to the food. I got the "upsize" so my coffee is BIG and fabulous. Tastes great with half and half provided at the smelly drink station and my own stevia. The yogurt is 6 oz. Pretty big size! And tasty! The muffin! Wow, momma must be in that kitchen cuz damn! Fresh, flaky, buttery and the eggs were legit real eggs scrambled not the flat patty garbage from that "M" place. Wow! Sausage was a great flavor but not overly spicy. This is my first time in Fort Worth and my family and I decided to go to Braum's since we really liked their banana split sundaes from the Garland location. When we went, the staff were very helpful the whole time and they were really patient with me since I take forever to order LOL I tried the hot fudge sundae with double dip: Cappucino Chocolate Chip and Regular Strawberry, and it was awesome and the prices are very good for what you get. I think they have some really good flavors of ice cream, I like getting shakes made with Mint Chocolate ice cream, I like trying new flavors of ice cream in hopes of finding a new favorite, they have the best sherbet around. They just have a lot of quality products at reasonable prices. During the holiday season I love picking up a jug of their egg nog and they also have some of the best chocolate milk I think I've ever tasted. It almost tastes like melted ice cream instead of milk with some cocoa mixed in. Sadly, it's not all good. I really don't know why they insist on selling burgers and sandwiches. None of them are standouts and some are down right bad. Last time I decided to give them a try with real food, I noticed they had a fried steak sandwich on the menu. I got excited. I used to get those often when I was younger. My parents enjoyed them which meant I enjoyed them as well. Sadly, Braum's version is essentially awful. Their burgers are also nothing but standard fair. But, there's no point in being negative. There's a dozen places I can get a good or great burger. I not only used to work at this Braums location, I still visit from time to time- orders are constantly wrong or missing items. The shift leads are bullies to their staff and their customers. The very same shift lead has worked at this location for a few years; every interaction I've had with her during my time working there AND after has left me with distain and disgust. This is a very average Braum's. We prefer the one further down Camp Bowie but come here for variety. Braum's is always cheap and good. It's definitely one of the cheaper places to bring a big family. A chain restaurant, ESPECIALLY fast food, is last choice for me. But when I want a burger, Braums is my go-to. Walking into Braums is like walking into small town Texas. Any Dairy Queen or Subway complete with minimum wage unskilled staff who make up for lack of professionalism with goofy grins and high school upbeatness. The service is hit or miss. I've regularly had my Burger made wrong. But I don't care because it's so tasty and they make it again without complaint. In fact, I've never experienced attitude from a Braums employee. So, even if the tables and countertops aren't perfectly clean and the check out people need training, Braums has won me over. P.S. I am a transplant patient I am considered high risk for COVID 19. I decided to go to Braums to get a milkshake and a hamburger for the first time in months. I was very disappointed to see that none of their staff members wearing protective gear especially a mask. All it takes is one droplet from one of their employees to infect someone like myself or anybody for that matter. I can't believe that a company of this stature would not require their staff to at least wear a mask. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to a Braum's.
