The restaurant and kitchen areas were both disgusting and unclean!!! Food, ice cream, and trash all over the counters and floors. My son stated the bathroom had not been cleaned in days. Walking into Braums you'd think that it would be a place filled with loving families; upon walking in, the only thing you feel is the essence of white supremacy and disgusting and appalling service. It was already a hard long day after my swim team and I had swam at one of the fastest meets. Considering that we thought the teams day couldn't get any worse, from swimming against 1300 swimmers, we walk into Braums. To begin with, for living in Mansfield, there are definitely at least 5 people that aren't white. Our team is a pretty diverse one, and when we came in, the only people that filled the place were white. There was a sense of slight discrimination coming in here and it was entirely too dolorous. Not a comfortable feeling. Second off, the service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Here's my list of complaints: The fries were disgustingly basic. Good thing there was salt in MY attitude to flavor these fries. The bread on the burgers overpower the meat, the ice cream was all melting, which doesn't make sense for an ice cream place, as in the ice cream is melting in the actual freezer! The workers had no gloves, so the flavors of ice cream were mixing all down the workers arm as it fell onto my ice cream cone. The service is too slow. It took more than 30 minutes for my friends french fries to come in. And seeing that i had ordered plain burgers, they were just too painstakingly plain. All in all, don't bother wasting your time and your sanitary values coming to this horrid place. read more

The food is great, but.... when we were finished eating, we put everything on the tray, and emptied it in the trash. There was a part of a straw paper we had left on the table. Upon leaving, the clean up lady, picked it up, and went on her way. Wait a minute! We're in a high risk of Covid right now, and Braum's is not sanitizing anything. They did not clean anything, just picked up what people left. If Braum's can't wash their tables, and protect us, we won't be back. read more

This is the slowest "fast" food I've ever been to. The girl took 3 minutes to give me 72 cents change. Not because she didn't have the change. I don't know if she was trying to do it mentally or what. Then I was asked to pull forward and wait for my shake. 10 minutes later I get it. It doesn't take 10 minutes to make a shake. Nothing but kids inside behind the counter. I'm sure that's why it took forever. Manager needs to get their workers to start getting with it. Had not purchased a Braum's burger in ages so thought why not give them another try since my previous purchase had been terrible. I placed my order at the drive-thru immediately with no waiting and by the time I ordered, paid at the first window and picked up the cheeseburger (was about a minute, tops), the burger was cold (even the meat) and bread stale, however the tomato, onions, and lettuce were fresh. I can safety say I will not be back unless it's for ice cream. You have been warned. read more

I walked in there expecting some sort of greeting but everyone was way too busy filling the driving thru orders to acknowledge that I was standing there. I can't forget an employee was in front of me filling ice cream cups and would not look up at me. The least that could have been said was "we'll be with you." The employee who took my order had to be redirected to take care of me. Then the girl who refused to look at me was the person who charged my for my double dip waffle cone ice cream. Braums is normally Amazing, but not this time. It's upsetting that they did not take my order right. I asked for a Large not NO route 44 size. I have difficulty holding the route 44 size. I wanted ba regular large that's easier to hold. i did not want a gigantic cup. This place of FILTHY! Servers complaining about their job to customers in front of us before even taking their order. No gloves. Rang up customers and handled cash. Made our dipped ice cream order without washing hands and using her fingers to get the ice cream out of the scoop into the cup. All while chewing about 3 hubba bubba bubble gum and attempting to talk legibly to us. No napkins at the counter and pointed us to the drink station to get our own napkins from 2 unopened packages sitting on a counter with sauce and ketchup all over it. Floor was so sticky in the ordering lane that our shoes were making noise on it. Server looked like a bag of powdered malt exploded on her shirt. Not EVER returning to this location. This particular store used to be kind of messy and slower in service. We go there for the ice cream after movies and such. The last few times we've been in, the service is friendly and actually cheerful. The lobby has been clean and we decided to get hot food last time. By far one of the worst Braums I've ever been to. I stopped by on the way to an appointment for a quick bite to eat, asked for a #1 with no onions or cheese and a sprite. The kid on the microphone was extremely rude, he failed to take my order and rushed me off the mic while playing with one of his coworkers in the background. When I got to point of picking up my food, the second kid gave me my food and said thank you and started to close the windows. He NEVER GAVE ME MY DRINK after that he rushes and gives me a drink and instead of Sprite I got a very disappointing cup of WATER. My receipt clearly said Sprite, oh and guess what my burger had cheese on it as well. Had I not been heading to an appointment I would have stopped, went back in, made them remake my entire order and went to their manager. They had me pull up from the drive thru to wait on my burger and fries even though there wasn't anyone behind me. She said they were making hot fries. Often a dirty restaurant with staff that has a poor and disrespectful attitude. I often drive through to get chocolate milk after I run or work out. Several times instead of good super yummy Braums chocolate milk the drive kids will try and lazy their way out of work by just tossing some chocolate sauce and milk together and blending. The service general takes forever for even simple orders, lord forbid that they can get a complex order correct. I waited patiently for my burger and fries for 15 minutes. When orders placed after mine were coming out, I asked the manager where my food was. She then went to the kitchen so I thought my burger was going to come out soon. I was wrong. Several more orders came out but none were mine. After 25 minutes of waiting I asked the manager for a refund. The manager blamed the poor service on so many people ordering at once. That didn't stop everyone else from getting their food. Apparently they discontinued chocolate dipped cones, so when I asked for one the new employee who was serving me did her best and sprayed a pump of chocolate syrup on my cone because she honestly didn't know what I was asking for. The shift manager then came up and rudely explained they don't have chocolate shell anymore and I either had to trash that cone or pay for a sundae. Another employee finely spoke up and said it wasn't my mistake so why was she giving me an ultimatum and trying to make me pay extra. We went last night to the location @ Story Rd & Shady Grove in Irving TX. It was filthy. The servers were not wearing gloves & the girl who waited on on us was scratching her face & running her fingers through her hair right before dipping the ice cream for my husband's hot fudge sundae. Everyone was putting their scoops in what appeared to be nasty water and the back counter was also filthy. There were plenty of servers but none were taking the time to clean up the counter or properly wash their hands/utensils. I did get a frozen yogurt twist but asked for a different server and requested they put on gloves before getting my cone and yogurt. Management is lacking at this location! read more

Braum's is the only ice cream place we have found that allows my daughter and me to enjoy some ice cream as a result of the minimal & more natural ingredients than other ice creams. The burgers are delicious and they are regularly creating new speciality burgers to sample and enjoy. My family of 6 can eat a meal including ice cream for less than the price of even McDonald's and the food quality is highly superior. In addition to the restaurant, Braum's offers a small "country" store complete with non-GMO and non-hormone added milk, cheeses, eggs, bread, cereals, and etcetera and all for lower prices than a traditional grocery store. This store also provides gluten-free and other organic foods. If you want nuts or dried fruits, you cannot beat the prices! We go there specifically for tomatoes, avocadoes, and other fresh fruits as these prices and the quality of these items are superior to grocery stores. read more

We had not gone into a braums for a very long time. We wanted an ice cream and as we had to go through Mansfield decided to stop. We decided to go ahead and eat as we were beginning to get hungry. Our order was started by one person and completed by another. While we were waiting for our order we picked a table. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned as there were scraps left over from the previous user. Same with other tables we looked at. When our order was ready, one of the salads was given the wrong dressing and one short as paid for. The other salad was wrong but I had already started to eat it so I left it alone. I had ordered the strawberry chicken but given the plain salad. My grand daughter ordered a hamburger, not cheeseburger, but was given a cheeseburger. I think Braums needs to stick to ice cream and leave the rest to McDonalds. read more

I've never seen a dirty floor or dirty tables at Braum's in Mansfield. And the service has always been timely. In the past week, 2 Braum's worker have gone out of their way to help me out.
