I was very disappointed with the service. The food was subpar. The calamari was far too chewy. Everything had a lemon overtone to it. It wasn't busy. We had to wait a full ten minutes before a server showed up. And when he left he basically walked around talking to every co worker before returning with our water. I've been a loyal customer for years. And I expected better treatment. I had the grilled shrimp just for something simple as I normally get steak. For 18 bucks I expected for than a mound of rice and four small shrimp. Was overly seasoned and was unable to finish it. I'm very disappointed. I hope when I come next it's much better. This was the one time I didn't stay for dessert. Wanted to get out of there ASAP. read more

Had a really positive experience last night - sat at the bar and ordered spin dip and a ny strip. Bartender was very friendly, atmosphere was nice and pace was very comfortable. Manager came and asked how my food was which is always a nice gesture. Spinach dip was great with a nice a marinara twist and a really good pita which I'll always take over chips. We went for a family dinner in their reserved room behind the bar. When we came in the host said that they were preparing the room for us and that it would be a few minutes. When we entered the room, there was a sour smell, like if you wipe a table with a cloth that is not too clean. There were big chunks of food- bread and pasta on the floor. What they were preparing, I had no idea. Outside of the window there was an unbussed table that sat that way for at least 30 minutes. Sitting opposite the window (until other family members arrived) it was not a very pleasant view. The service is usually very good, though they waited for 20 minutes after the last guest arrived to come and take our dinner order. My father-in-law ordered three meatballs with his meal. He received two and when he said that he had ordered three, the server argued with him, instead of just bringing the meatball. After having lived in Italy for 3 years, I am very picky about Italian food, but the food was pretty good and actually would've rated higher had the whole experience just been a little bit nicer. read more

Food was pretty decent. Based on food alone, I'd give it a solid three, maybe a four. However, Ben may be the most lackadaisical server I have ever encountered. Took 20 minutes to take our order, and that's only because I called him over and asked. No apology. No explanation for the delay. This was the theme of our whole lunch in a nearly empty restaurant. Had to ask to order. Had to ask for bread. Had to ask for everything. My mother even asked if getting a second drink would take as long as getting mine did. No apology. My kid started setting a timer just to see how long each request took. Ben, this is why your tip was low, and you only got as much as you did because my father felt guilty. read more

We eat here a lot, because of the great food, amazing manager (Miguel), and wonderful service. My review would be five stars, except for the salad quality. Romaine lettuce should NOT be white! Unless you order field greens, there is no dark green lettuce on a salad plate. The white part is what we were required to throw away at Wendy's in my teenage years. I eat Caesar salads everywhere, and Bravo's is the worst! If your company policy demands serving EVERY part of the romaine try making it a Kale Caesar salad like a lot of restaurants are offering. You just need to up the "healthy" aspect of a salad. There is no nutritional value in white lettuce that belongs in the garbage! read more

So I have been coming to this restaurant forever. I can say the new place looks great. However the services is becoming worse and worse. Ordered a bottle of wine, the server had no idea how to open it or how to pour it! Come on. Next time we visited Server brought wrong drinks, took forever to get drinks, bread was not delivered till our entree came out cause someone burned all the bread. Ordered Chicken Marsala, chicken is cold, mash potatos are cold. Beans are cold.Hopefully this is a short time problem. read more

Attended a work lunch with a client here on Monday and they did a very nice job. Their Bravo salad is hands down the best on the menu. I did the lunch combo with salad and half portion of pasta. Just so you are aware, their half portion could feed at least 2 people! I tried and tried but could not finish. The restaurant wasn't too crowded for being in such a busy area of town. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating as after she tried to seat us in a booth, we changed our mind and asked for a table. Will definitely be back. read more

We used to eat at Bravo more in the past, but haven't had a chance recently and a lot has changed. First the menu is more limited than it used to be. Most restaurants are offering more variety and they are offering less. The food was average at best. I had the Chicken Marsala and the sauce, which is my favorite part was non existent. The food was all shoved to one side of the plate when it arrived and the mash potatoes were bland. The one very good thing was the Caesar salad. It was cold and had a fabulous taste. Not sure if I will be back anytime soon. read more

Lobster bisque was excellent! My date asked my to sample it and I got the look for eating too much. Sorry. The Salmon Caesar Salad (add tomatoes) is what I always order here and it is good! I've been out to this restaurant twice, and while the food is rather tasty, I've been very underwhelmed by the service. Being a former server myself, with several years of experience in both fine dining and casual restaurants, it amazes me at the number of servers working versus how little attention our table receives. I'm not sure if waiters are trained properly, but it shouldn't take 20 minutes to have water refilled or a check dropped off. It might be better on not-so-busy evenings, but I would suggest rethinking Saturday night dinner at 6 pm. read more

It's been a while but to decided to give Bravo in Mason another chance. Well, it's safe to say not much has changed. The food quality is small, the prices are high and the service is sub par. The restaurant was over half empty so service should have been excellent. Our server set over at a table while drinks went unfilled. There was no offer for more bread and the server didn't even stop by after someone else brought our meals. I ordered the caprese salad huge mistake, total waste of money for what you get. The lobster bisque had no lobster. The pasta dshes were fine but small quantity for the money. There are too many other good options in the area. I would avoid unless the waits are too long elsewhere. read more

This is one of my family's regulars. No, really, my parents go once a week and know the bartenders by name -- which may be the reason why we get such great service every time we go. We always eat at the bar, so I can't speak for the dining area, but how can you turn down $5 Bar Bites? They also have a new low cal menu, and I loved the salmon pasta -- super light and flavorful. I would just advice against going during prom season, as it tends to be a hot spot. read more

Or that when we walked into a room of tables set with white table cloths, we were offered one without. Now, I guess people will often do what they're told. But I spent the first part of my life waiting tables. I know better, so I requested a table.. with a table cloth. Wasn't that part of the point of being there and not Denny's? Then, eventually, bread was brought to the table... one piece for each of us and I mentioned that we are big bread eaters and that would probably not be enough. The waitress, who already showed signs of animosity said they were making more in the back; she would bring more. o.K. reasonable. I asked for plain bread. I asked for regular butter. by now our waitress gave me the impression that if I was feeling like a royal pain in the ass, that was just fine with her. We had our meal without any more obnoxious requests. Now, I guess this girl wanted to go home. But there was a table seated after us, it was still before closing and I was having a good time with my family. We ordered desert and coffee. .. decaf for 2 and regular for 2. That happened, but getting another cup was quite problematic. It was never offered. We had to flag her down and then we were told there was no more regular coffee, so the other 2 opted for decaf (yuc for those who like real coffee). She never corrected the problem. Never offered. And a third cup, well that was not an option. She was MIA after the second cup of whatever. Of course, I got up and found someone to complain to who offered right away to make 2 new pots of coffee/decaf. And they did! Lovely. But that ornery waitress really put the damper on what otherwise could have been a nice experience. We are normally pretty good tippers too. I guess she wanted to display her desire to go home more than to get an extra 5% tip or nicely represent the place that employs her. read more

We had a large group yesterday for Easter brunch (5 under the age of 6!!). I had the three egg-white omelet with spinach/tomatoes and fresh fruit....it was amazing! Everyone enjoyed their lunch-from pizza to fetticine alfredo and eggs benedict with crab meat. Just as important, the service was wonderful. Imagine the fear our poor server had when he saw four small children and a baby as part of our group! The children were especially good (thankfully), and we all enjoyed the excellent food and time together. read more

Went to Bravo for lunch today with colleagues. Lobster bisque was so worth a try, loved it. Also, got the Mediterranean Vegetable Salad - delicious! Huge portion, couldn't eat it all. Service was great, a tad slow for the lunch time crowd. Would return to Bravo Because their were other dishes I would like to try, and the lobster bisque is for sure a staple. read more

With no advance notice the staff was able to accommodate a walk-in group of 10 very quickly and efficiently. Food was excellent, service was great, and the environment was perfect for our business group. Our overall experience was very positive and we will definitely return. read more
