Ordered a margarita and when I saw the server take the menu over to make the drink I knew I should've changed it for a beer; took one sip... undrinkable On top of that, my food order was incorrect! Worst experience at a Mexican restaurant in the area. My daughter could not even cut her enchilada with a knife. My nephew said his ground beef burrito was disgusting and didn't eat it. I wanted to love this place because it's close to the house, and it would be sooo nice to have a good Mexican spot close by, but this place missed the mark. They have your typical Mexican fare, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, bowls, queso, guacamole, you name it. The prices were not bad either. You can definitely come dressed as you are, because it's not fancy. But the food itself just didn't make the grade. First of all, the salsa tasted like tomato sauce from a can. It was bland and tasteless and so were the chips. Our bowls just didn't hit the spot for me. I liked that it had plantains and avocado, but it just didn't have the flavors I was looking for, and the chicken was on the dry side. Bummer! It might be a great place to grab a margarita, and maybe it's just the bowls that aren't fabulous but I don't know that I'd try this place again given my experience. read more

Adios Bravos! Highly suggest you skip this place. I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla and was surprised it doesn't come with any lettuce, pico or sour cream which is a staple accompaniment in any restaurant. The chicken wasn't grilled it was sautéed tiny parts and pieces that you would expect to see in a soup not something that was grilled. Additionally they offer a menu with specials that they do not honor. False advertising and where they just don't want to offer the price stated on the menu. Skip this place and try another authentic Mexican restaurant or just get Taco Bell. read more

We've been going to Bravo's for years, and I'm sad to say they are going down hill. The usually tasty food is now just blah. The chips were stale. The refried beans were so smoky, they were inedible. Even the usually yummy chipotle salsa had little flavor. The prices have gone up (which is pretty common these days), but they are charging extra if you pay with a credit card. The worst part is that the bill arrives with the credit card prices already on it, so you end up tipping on the marked-up food. Receipt and menus pics are attached, but here are the differences between the menu prices and the prices on the bill: Cheese Nachos: $8.75 / $9.10 Taco Salad: $9.75 / $10.14 Combo #12: $8.75 / $9.10 Drinks: $2.99 / $3.11 However, the WORST part of our visit was this: I ordered a lunch combo that included a quesadilla. The menu said cheese, beef, or chicken. I asked for a mushroom quesadilla instead (which I have done many times in the past), and I was told there would be an upcharge. WHAT?? I'm pretty sure mushrooms are cheaper than beef or chicken, but our server confirmed an upcharge! After we ordered, I went and got a menu to check their normal prices for quesadillas. Mushroom, beef, and chicken are all the same price when ordered individually, so why the upcharge if the mushroom quesadilla is in a combo meal?? I just got cheese. :( I asked our sever if I could see the manager, as I questioned the validity of the upcharge. She left and came back a few minutes later saying that the manager would not be in until 12:00 (it was around 11:25 at the time). I'm pretty sure she was lying because the older gentleman who is always there and whom I think owns the place was who seated us when we came in. The food was horrible, the water tastes like toilet water, they had horrible costumer service, the servers were unkind and minimal, the store had all the curtains closed and had no way to know if it was open. I believe they should improve many things but I would not recommend. I have a stomach ache and I personally will never be going back. read more
