Let me start out by saying this was an amazing experience. The service at this place is top notch, Tucker our Gaucho and Jacoby were the most friendly and helpful staff members I've had the pleasure to know. They carry a great conversation and went out of their way to make sure we got everything we wanted. The food was top tier, it just keeps coming until until you surrender( for me I wait until I get the meat sweats!) The restaurant is warm ,clean, and welcoming. It was worth our 3 hour drive to get here and it definitely won't be the last! Keep up the good work!

Bring me the meats and that's exactly what they did!!!!!! Loss of a star for not having the sausage and Brazilian steak as listed as the menu. Other than that, we tried every meat on the menu. My favorite item was the mouth-watering grilled pineapple. The salad bar was underwhelming and not always stocked with all the options. The drinks were yummy and strong. Our server provided exceptional service and was very attentive.

Mmmmmm.... Their salad bar is fantastic! Lots of salads, side dishes (mashed potatoes, pasta, fried bananas etc.) Cheese bread was to die for. Fantastic! Service: 5 stars! But.... the main player is the meat... and... it was not great. Lots of meats was dry, and not tender. Over cooked too... :( You can ask for more rare cuts, and there are lots of options. And the grilled pineapple was delish!

Walked in. Nobody was there, then a MOUSE came from the kitchen area. Disgusting. Can't imagine the grossness in the kitchen

Service was slow. Our server let us sit at our table with a reservation for over 20 minutes before greeting us. Sides and salad bar was actually one of the best I've had from a Brazilian steakhouse. Lots of options besides salads. My favorites were the hot creamy pasta, black beans and rice. Fried bananas were not my favorite, personally. My first margarita from the bar was delicious, so was my husbands "Alex's old fashioned". Then we elected to order a second round of the same drinks because they were so good the first time, but they came out totally different and tasted awful. Had to have the waiter swap them out. Meats were very good. I would say I liked almost all of them. Even the chicken was moist. It did take them a while to come around with each of the meats so sometimes you were waiting with an open plate. They did not ask you how you would like your meat cooked (like I was used to from a Brazilian steakhouse) but most of the cuts were medium to well done. Workers and servers at this establishment are young. Very young. Maybe that's why the service wasn't the best. Food was good and hot. I wouldn't say this is the best Brazilian steakhouse but not bad for Iowa. Ambiance ranged from casual to dressy. Good for birthdays or family gatherings.

Some of the dishes from the salad bar. The chicken Stroganoff bottom left was delicious. The collard greens bottom right were also tasty.

It was my favorite dining companion's birthday dinner with her dad and myself. She decided on Brazil Terra Grill. We have had them on our list for quite some time, but had never gotten around to actually going there. We went on a Monday night, so the restaurant wasn't packed, which was actually really nice. Our server explained how everything worked, and away we went. We headed right for the salad bar first, before we began our carnivore journey. There is a LOT of variety on that salad bar. There are multiple cold salads such as potato salad and pasta salad. One side of the salad bar was dedicated to making your own conventional salad, and the other side had various salads, and one end had some hot dishes. The Chicken Stroganoff and the collard greens were the winners for me. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was very flavorful. The collard greens got a slightly different treatment compared to typical southern US preparations of them, but they were still very tasty. Onto the meat! Every few minutes one of the meat men as I called them, came by with some sort of delicious meat on a spit, along with a big knife. You indicated if you wanted the meat on display, and they carefully carved you some. There were various cuts of steak, pork, and chicken. There was even linguisa sausage, which made my favorite dining companion's father very happy. Linguisa is one of his favorites. Everything was beautifully cooked and well-seasoned. It wasn't long before we waved the white flag (or flipped the red totem, in this case), as we couldn't eat any more meat. Since it was her birthday, our server was kind enough to give us a generous slice of New York style cheesecake on the house. It was delicious. We made room for dessert, and it was worth it. Brazil Terra Grille isn't cheap, but if you're looking to eat your fill of a wide variety of tasty meals, along with a very respectable salad bar, look no further. We'll definitely be back, possibly on Friday or Saturday, as they have ribs those nights!

We were greeted and asked if we were dining in (it appears they do a brisk takeout business) and were told to sit where we wanted. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The menu is extensive and hubby and I both like Mediterranean food. I chose the Falafel plate, served with five falafel balls, hummus, a pita, and Greek salad. The portion was generous (ended up taking two falafel home). Served with tahini and their house green sauce (olive oil, cilantro, and jalapeño) It wasn't spicy but it was so delicious - I could get addicted to this thinking of all the other ways so could enjoy it!! The Greek salad was served with house dressing - garlic and yogurt, also very good. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and flavorful. The hummus was not at all grainy - smooth but just a tad bland. Hubby had the lamb skewers and liked them very much. Served with rice, salad, and hummus. He also took one of the skewers home. We both had the mango Fresca juice. A bit too sweet for me but I generally drink unsweetened beverages. Hubby liked it a lot. Service was friendly and we were checked on twice to ask how we liked our food. Generous portions, friendly service, good food, but not inexpensive (with tip, $55 for two) but what is inexpensive these days?? We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

Everything started good as we were in a large group and were seated promptly. Our waitress then took our drink and appetizer orders. I ordered the gallon of nachos to share with the table and a draft beer. Our table received waters and our initial drinks fairly quickly. That's where it ended. Our waitress was pretty much non existent after that. After about an hour waiting, I had to hunt the waitress down to get another beer and our gallon of nachos still had not arrived. Another member of our party had ordered a bucket of Yuenling Flight beers for a special they had an advertised sign right at the entrance for $17.76 as a celebration for the 250th of the US. The waitress was unaware of this special and had to get approval with her manager to get the special. About an hour and 30 minutes into our arrival, a server (not our waitress) began dripping off our food entree orders but no nachos yet. At this time, I cancelled the nachos with this server as it was intended to be an appetizer to snack on for the table as we waited on our food and had drinks. Our waitress finally appeared a short time later to explain that out nachos were almost ready when we cancelled them. It was too late though and my entree was delivered. This review would have been less than a 3 except the food saved it. I had the beef Philly with onions and cheese whiz sauce with fries and it was very good. Others at our table enjoyed their food as well. One thing I noticed was that our waitress was wearing a beverage around her neck that we later found out was a "painkiller" alcoholic drink. It was mostly empty when she first took our drink and appetizer order and refilled later. I suspect she was enjoying her drinks more than helping our table. She was friendly though. If this place works harder on their service, this would be a great place to visit.
