I must have called at least 8 other alteration places who said they couldn't do it, before I found this place who said they could do it no problem. They showed me a few different zipper combinations that would go well with the hoodies, made my choices and dropped them off. When I came to pick them up, I was amazed at how perfectly they were done. Honestly looks like they came from the factory as zip-up hoodies, stitching was perfect, and all for a reasonable price. Took suit pants to be fitted at the waist and length. I'm muscular. Bought an athletic fit suit. It didn't need much tailoring. Terrible fitting, it looked like I had a wedge/murph. She then messed it up more. Had to throw it away. Got the same brand and fit fitted somewhere else without issues. Rude, overpriced. read more

I've been a long time customer (over 5 years) and I've finally had enough of the rude old lady (probably the owner). Anytime I've asked a question or just my presence alone seems to irritate her. Her employee on the other hand is very kind, patient and very personable. Sorry I forgot his name but he's tall and has longer hair. It's unfortunate the owner behaves is such a bad manner. My first couple visits were great. I stopped by to get some pants hemmed and the person with long hair that was helping me was very attentive and friendly. They hemmed my pants and it looked great so I took them home. Overall a great experience. However, I noticed that the pants were a bit shorter than I liked so I decided to bring them back a couple days later. When I came back it was an older lady, who may have been the owner. Immediately I noticed she was very unfriendly and rude, and just seemed like I was inconveniencing her by being there. I told her I wanted to bring the hem back down a bit to lengthen the pants and again she seemed unhappy about this and told me the price and that it would be cash only. I completely understood that I had to pay again, but just the way she said it was rude. Luckily when I came back to pick up the items it was a different person and service was normal. This would have been my go-to place for my family and I to get alterations, but will be going to other places for better service. When I came in I met with Eric who was honestly such a sweet and kind person. He helped me with my dress and took measurements to make sure it was all correct. After that I decided to take in another dress to get altered about a week later and that's when I met Lorena she was so rude! She wouldn't fix the dress I needed to be done and was just honestly mean the whole interaction. I'm thankful I met Eric the first time and he was able to help me with my dress. Had a few small holes in a cosplay of mine, relatively easy fixes but what troubled me was how the zippers could've easily been messed up with how the seams popped. It slipped my mind to explain how the zippers are attached to the suit before I had left so I shuddered in anticipation with what could go wrong, but my doubts were quickly washed away upon receiving my suit back! They clearly took the time to examine how the other zippers were attached and sewn the zippers back in place accordingly, and the holes? It's as if they never tore open at all. This place messed up my $200 pants by using cheap thread and poor skills. I went to have them shortened, and she first quoted me a 3 week turnaround. When I said i needed them next day, she obliged. When I saw the pants I almost screamed! They were too short, and she didn't even bother to keep the original hem as I requested and confirmed TWICE during drop off. The original hem had 2 rows of high quality stitching, and this place did 1 row of Dollar Store quality thread and stitching. My son also had a pair of jeans shortened, AND THEY HAD THE IDENTICAL ONE ROW, TOO HIGH STITCHING AS MY PANTS! Everyone knows jeans and pants are stitched differently. The lady simply cut the fabric (too short), then folded them under and made a stitch line about 1 inch above the fold. So essentially, it just looks like we folded our pants/jeans under and called it a day. And she used the same thread for thick denim jeans as she did for thinner pants material. Unbelievable and unacceptable. And the kicker - she charged twice as much as my usual tailor! read more

I cant rate for women's alterations but I went to get a suit tailored. It was a new suit..jacket turned out OK but when it came to the pants... so nice it was a new suit the legs were super long. The women had me stand on a platform to measure / address. She never used a tapr measure and just eyeballed it. The 1st time she put pins in they were way too long.. I told her more which she questioned bit did..then again. Then again. And when they were done they still wore too long!! Note, I did wear the shoes that were to be wore with the suit as well. Been to a few places for alterations and keep on coming back here. Other places may be cheaper but the turnaround time is longer and the quality questionable. Lorena does a great job and is so experienced. I have worked with her to customize some of my clothing and she always gives me her honest opinion and we try to work it out so I get what I need. For example, I purchased a blazer dress which I loved but was too low cut. I brought it to Lorena to help me put a clasp on and she worked with me to put in in the perfect location so that it did not tug funny and was still undetectable.
