I've used like 10 other dry cleaners and no one is as good as Power Cleaners! Also, Power Cleaners offers a pickup and delivery service which we use all the time. They deliver/pickup from a large geographic area so even if you live farther away like in Newport Beach, you can still get their service super easy without leaving your home. I've been using Power Cleaners for over 5 years and they've never lost nor damaged anything. Everything is perfect and all of the employees are very nice and helpful.

I ended up paying $219, which is nearly the price of a suit itself! Again, don't get me wrong--the quality of their work and the speed of their dry cleaning service are exceptional. However, marking up alteration prices by approximately 50%-60% is simply not acceptable. Unless I receive some type of credit or adjustment from the owner, unfortunately, I will not be using their services again.

Original Hems Studio is located in Laguna Hills, off of Lake Forest Drive, corner facing the Shell gas station. Their services include hemming, tailoring/alterations & dry cleaning. The inside of the store is modern & clean with a black, red, silver color palette. Way nicer than most tailoring places. The wait for service can be a minute (so be patient), since they seem short-staffed the drop-off & pick-up times I've gone. When my daughter needed a dress tailored (made tighter at the chest area, since she's quite petite) for her friend's upcoming quinceañera, I immediately thought of Original Hem. Based on my prior good experiences with them ~ with my jeans & dresses, I thought they would be a perfect option for the job. To say I was SHOCKED at how much they quoted me for the alteration, was an understatement. Mind you..the dress cost about $30 and the alteration to just bring in the sides a tad at the chest area cost $45..LIKE HOW DOES IT COST MORE THAN THE DRESS?!?! I get the dress had some ruching and lace..but does it justify costing THAT much? Sigh..in the end, I just gave in and agreed to pay the charge because we were already pot committed (sized and everything) and the birthday party is weeks away. I really don't have time to find another alteration place. When we picked up the dress 3 days later, the workmanship was ok, not wow for what I paid. The measurements the girl did was correct & perfectly fit my daughter, so I guess if she's happy then I'm happy. BUT, I likely won't be back since prices have gone up significantly! When I asked (out of curiosity) for a quote for original hemmed jeans now-a-days, they charge $16!!! A huge contrast to my $5 days. ASK FOR PRICES, before you decide to do any services, as they conveniently don't have them posted anywhere ~ in-store or online..since the sales gal says it varies per item (based on material & level of difficulty of the alteration). Too many places rush through alterations or miss the small things that make a difference. They take their time, pay attention to the details, and consistently do quality work. They can be a little pricey depending on what you need done, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I'd rather spend a little more and have something done correctly than deal with sloppy alterations that need to be fixed later. If you're particular about fit, quality, and craftsmanship, this is the best tailoring shop I've found in the area.

I needed 4 pretty expensive Polo shirts hemmed, so I wanted to make sure I chose a highly rated tailor who would do quality work. They absolutely did not disappoint. Everything was finished on time, and the workmanship was beautiful and very professional. You can really tell they care about the details and take pride in their work.
