My daughter had been looking at many gowns in other shops and sent me pictures of herself in samples. Although they were priced super expensive, the quality of the fabric was terrible. I could see that the fabric weight and color on any of them were not the best choice at all. Who were they kidding? Because Judy has about 600-700 gowns available, both my daughter and I thought this shop would be a great baseline to compare with others,. We called and made an appt and arrived on the 21st. Apparently I got the month wrong because it was April 21st and I thought it was March 21st. NTL, Judy accommodated us later that day and my daughter was lucky enough to find the style she was looking for on the same day. Unlike the other samples in previous shops. the gown from Judy's shop was beautifully made and fit so well. The fabric weight and sheen were exactly what an experienced designer would want to show off their design. There was just no comparison to the others. Judy's service was excellent; She's very nice and an honest business woman with a lot of knowledge about this specialty. Let her help you with the process and be honest about where you are, what you know and don't know about shopping for gowns, what your expectations are as well as your budget so she can guide you with your specific needs. Her designer selections cover just about every style. And there is value to be found in a well made gown that is not overpriced. When you don't overpay, you do get more quality for your money and that is where the lesson of value is enhanced in luxury. I immediately called Claudia to schedule a trial for both myself and my mother, and Claudia arranged for a makeup artist to be there at the same time to do a trial for both hair and makeup. We loved their work at the trial and booked with them on the spot! Claudia has such a sweet demeanor, and really listens when you tell her what you want your hair to look like--so much so that after my trial I booked a cut and color with her, and asked her to make my hair extensions for the wedding! On the day of my wedding, I arrived to find Claudia there, but no makeup artist. Claudia calmly informed me that the makeup artist would not be able to make it on the day of the wedding (one might freak out about this, but I just had to laugh because everything about my wedding was incredibly smooth, and even this seemingly MAJOR hiccup was quickly resolved). Prior to telling me, Claudia had called around to other makeup artists she works with and found the amazing Jamie Spelber to come and save my face (literally!). While Jamie was en route, Claudia calmly got started on the hair for myself and my bridal party, and the makeup artist arrived shortly thereafter. My bridal party had a variety of different hair types and styles, but Claudia did a beautiful job on each and every one of us! In addition to being a fabulous stylist, Claudia was a total boss getting someone else in to do our makeup last minute (and let me tell you, Jamie actually did a FAR better job on our makeup than the girl I had initially hired, so it was totally for the better!). I am so appreciative to Claudia, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist for their wedding day, or just a new stylist for the day-to-day look!

Sonya provided alterations for my wedding dress as well as my veil - which she altered to complement the length of my dress. She is kind, gives honest opinions (not recommending additional work if she doesn't think you need it), and is so accommodating. My dress size fluctuated a bit leading up to the wedding, and she was patient while making sure I had the perfect fit. And, she altered the dress with my wedding day accessories in mind (undergarments, shoes). Sonya did an AMAZING job on alterations of my dream wedding gown. She completely re-made the back and made it fit me perfectly while being super encouraging and detail oriented with me losing some weight during the process! I felt like a princess and Sonya was very easy to work with. Definitely recommend if you want someone who is highly skilled and reassuring! Mahtab has been doing this for years, and her approach is both time and cost effective. She suggests starting any alterations no more than 3 months in advance, which can sound worrisome, but in reality your body can change in 3 months so it doesn't make sense to make alterations to your dress when you will have to change it again months later. I took my dress in August and it was done in 1 month! I needed a hem, straps shortened, hips taken in, and bustles added and had 3 fittings total. She explained her process to me, which made me feel more comfortable with what she was doing. The total cost was under $600!!! I cannot recommend her enough!
