Great customer service, quality work. Called in to see if they're able to take a walk in, & she asked to come in 30/45mins. I went in a little earlier & still got seated before the estimated time. I got a full set/white tips &P6 pedicure. Service comes with a complimentary drink. I originally wanted Vietnamese coffee, but opted for Chardonnay. I was asking if I can have both& I pay for the coffee, but she said no, only 1 drink. Tammy, who did my nails was pretty particular with the shape&size. The white tips are all even. Powder was laid down thin & evenly. I'm not too fond of the pink powder used in general, but it actually grew on me. Gives off a classy taste to it. The girl doing my pedicure that gave me a "massage" that just felt like she was rubbing my legs &tickling my calves with her fingertips. Kinda awkward. But she did get the surfaces of my whole toenails evenly. Cleaned up the dead skin& had my feet feeling extra smooth. I think it was Tina? They revamped the whole place with new furniture, spa chairs, and even tore down a walk to make more space. It looks nicer and more modern. They offer complimentary drinks at service now. Ive tried this salon twice, the customer service at the front is always police, welcoming and had availability when needed which is always a plus. The salon is nice, the smaller drink menu is a very nice touch and honestly was the reason I returned. I visited the salon yesterday (later in the day) and requested a fill, and the best pedicure they offer (about a $70 value pedicure). In addition to the services included in the best pedicure I explained I needed focus on some areas and was told no problem! I started noticing all of the products she applied were almost instantly washed off leaving no processing time to remove dry skin, calluses ect. I requested a nude/pink base color and it seemed that wasn't something they offered so I defaulted to a safe "bubble bath" in a sharp narrow square finish, the bubble bath that was applied feels like a different color and the shape is still more wide & rounded then a square. With my nails, I went in for a fill and understood the preference was to get a full set instead. While I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years, I'm familiar with the process but have sensitive nail beds (which I explained) so removing the acrylic powder typically needs to be filed off or acetone directly on my nails. I was told to place my hands in acetone for about 3-5 minutes about 3 times each hand. This resulted in extremely dried out fingers that still feel tender when touched. I'm not sure what products they use, but this is the first nail salon I go to that has products that seem to absorb heat, I cook multiple times a day and while trying to cook 2 meals since getting these nails each time my nail beds get really hot I have to pause from cooking. Essentially, the shape of both my nails and hands are not what I asked for (even after clarifying 3 times for a "narrow sharp square"), my heels are still dry with callus, and my nail beds and fingers feel almost chemically dried out. I paid about $146 for the services alone and still tipped since they did preform the service. For the first time in my adult life I've never been so scared of having a set of nails that burn when I cook and I don't even know the best way to get them off but hoping I can find a salon to remove them in the healthiest way possible. read more

Went there last Friday with my mom. I got Andy to do my gel x. Monday morning my 2 gel x broke. I called to make an appointment for repair...and asked for different technician because this is the THIRD time ANDY did my nails and again does not last a week. This time 2 days, which prompted me to write this review. I gave him a chance and all three times--I just wasted money & time. My sister said the same thing....she got Andy twice! And both times she was disappointed. He is terrible!!! Furthermore, I called to make an appointment for repair and asked for different technician. Showed up for my appointment 15 min early just to be told by the front desk that Yvonne is running behind and I have to wait 45 minutes. I was not upset the fact that I have to wait 45 min. It was the way she deliver the message, it was rude and was not even apologetic. I felt I was nuisance to her. Granted she was not the usual front desk person but still she could be a little courteous. My time did not matter. I had to take leave to get off work early because they are busy due to the holiday. Ive been going there for over a year now and I just spent $168 (plus $50 tips) last Friday. I am not happy with the quality, charge a lot but yet quality went down!!! read more

I got a gel pedicure yesterday and although the service was good and lady was very sweet the gel application is unacceptable. How would you allow someone to walk out with such messy application? I unfortunately didn't notice until I was back home. Super disappointed and frustrated that the only corrective action would cause me to lose my time to go back and get it fixed, lose money to go somewhere else, or to just live with botched polish when I paid full price and tipped well. Allowing this quality of work puts the customer in a lose-lose situation. I don't think I'll go back knowing they will allow someone to walk out with such low quality work. Customers deserve better. I walked out of that salon in tears. I tried so hard to convince myself my nails looked okay, but they were absolutely horrible. I've never felt so disappointed and upset after paying for something that was supposed to make me feel good. I was in the area, it was my first time at this salon, and I just needed a simple fill. The technician who did my nails (an older, heavier man with no name tag) should NOT be allowed anywhere near nail tools again. I came in for an acrylic fill and asked for the same design I already had -- just in white instead of black, and without the jewel. Simple. He even took a photo of my nails beforehand and still managed to do a completely sloppy job. He kept taking breaks, sighing like he was exhausted, and handled my nails with zero care or professionalism. He burned my skin near the cuticles with the drill multiple times and filed my natural nails down so thin they literally ached. Even after curing the polish, he kept going back in with the file over and over -- it was painful and honestly felt reckless. The end result? Uneven shapes, messy paint, and nails that look nothing like what I asked for. I left embarrassed and heartbroken, trying not to cry in public. This was the WORST nail experience I've ever had. I'm writing this because I truly want to raise awareness -- no one should ever have to go through what I did. If management sees this, please take action. The older grumpy woman needs to retire in peace. She was unpleasant and unprofessional from the get go. My friend took me Sunday, I live out of state and four days later my pedi gel polish nails are peeling from the cuticle. She got an attitude when I answered her question to, "Do you want something to drink?" My friend told me I had to try their ice coffee. Good lord you would have thought I asked for her first born great grandchild. When she brought it to me after cussing me out in her native tongue, let me tell you, mine did not look like my friends. I was referred to Brea nails by my friend. I've been a handful of times and everything was great. This time it was a little different. My nail tech gave me a dirty nail dish to soak my fingers in. When I brought it to his attention the bowl was dirty, he went and rinsed it out. He then took it out what I thought was a brand new nail tool set. He opened it and there was nail polish on one of the tools. I asked him if it was in fact a new set and he assured me it was. Reluctantly I let him continue. He seemed frustrated with me because I wouldn't "relax" my hands. At that point my anxiety level was up and I couldn't relax. He ended up doing a good job on the nails themselves. I had a wonderful experience at the newly renovated Brea Nails!! Been coming here since 2016. The Receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable of my appointment with Jennifer. Not only is it more spacious but looks clean and elegant, new marble floors. They added 8 more pedicure chairs in the back, away from everyone else so you can have your bachelorette party, just ladies day out or any group event. They even serve alcohol now so you know I had a glass of wine to maximize my enjoyment and relaxation experience. I had a premium pedicure with Jennifer and she is absolutely the BEST! She is very gentle but thorough, her foot massages are on point, and she is so friendly and personable. I will always be requesting her for my pedicures! I've visited this location as a walk in client and perhaps that's the reason the customer service was so poor. I believe in second chances and despite being cut while getting a pedicure the first time I came in (Sept 2025) by the eldest worker in the shop, I gave feedback to the receptionist/owner perhaps? The feedback was taken seriously and I received a heartfelt apology from the receptionist. I just visited the shop again, wanting to treat myself to some well deserved self-care. I walked in for a pedicure & full set. I was extremely disappointed to be uncomfortable the ENTIRE time I received services. Not only was I the ONLY customer NOT OFFERED a beverage (this shop offers complimentary beverages- alcoholic & non-alcoholic); but the male nail technician was extremely rough with the drill. I asked him if he was feeling okay because he was doing my nails as if he had an attitude or was angry! He said he was fine but continued to hurt me even after I spoke up to let him know he was hurting me. The elderly grandmother doing my pedicure cut my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding. She wasn't going to do anything about putting antiseptic on it so I spoke up and asked her to! She apologized but continued to hurt me with the cuticle scissors for the rest of the pedicure. I calmly waited until services were complete and informed the receptionist of the incredibly UNPLEASANT experience. She apologized and said she would pass the feedback along to the manager. I was offered a discount or gift card for my next visit, which I declined. I asked for a discount for that specific visit. I work too hard for my money to not be able to enjoy a self care nail appointment. She said she completely understood and offered me 25% off services. I still gave both workers a cash tip but I did not tip them what I normally would for those services, because they did such a horrible job. I told the receptionist that the owner should allow them alternate work hours if they're having a bad day. It was bad day for them or a long day resulting in extremely poor customer service. Even if I'm short on time... I WILL NOT go back to this salon for nail services. Sorry not sorry! read more
