I came here cause my two go to places were closed or busy. Never coming back. I wanted to take my mom to get her toes done and get a massage for MothersDay, first my review. I got a full set of acrylics with French tip. I knew it was going to be bad when the nails wouldn't stick to my nails, she added so much glue that it got under my nail, I can feel it right now while typing and it bugs me, I'm actually excited for these nails to fall off(!) The nails are misshapen on top and are thick. The paint job, a simple French tip is bad... I can actually do better at home. One thumb nail is longer then the other and they aren't cut even, they are at a slant. Awful awful awful. The only reason why I gave it two stars is because my mom loved her massage and her toes are actually nice. Never coming here again. read more

I have been here twice so far. I used Groupon deal for spa pedi. I believe it was 12.99. Even without the coupon, the spa pedi is 13.99. The inside is not fancy at all. But I got descent services both times and th nails looked pretty for easily over a month. I never get gel nails, but the lady sitting next to me who was getting Shellac said that this is the only place they don't ruin her nails with Shellac. If I could give this place no stars or minus some stars I would! I am headed out of town for a bit and was running behind a bit today so I decided to stop by this place close to my place. Big mistake! The older Asian lady who they had do my nails spoke almost no English. As she was doing my nails I attempted to converse with her. I was noticing things here and there and had to point and shrug and such. The other lady ignored us. Usually the one that speaks better English attempts to help. Nope. So, as I sat and pointed out corrections I also had to deal with a very annoying issue of these small bugs flying around. Relentlessly! I kept makimg reference to them but absolutely no one (3 workers in there today) bothered to address it. So, on she worked. I was trying to ask her if she had a different brush because the tip was jagged and not evenly cut across at this point (I was trying to get a simple french) but she really didnt understand me so I left it be. There was just odd stuff happening too... anyway... at the end of it all, I hold my nails up, fingers cupped towards me and am not really surprised. All the edges and lines are crooked. My nails look like a 4 year old did them. This took over an hour and I had no time to sit and get them all done over. The other old lady and old guy completely ignored the situation. After a while, of no one addressing the issue (the lady who had done my nails just went over and started a pedicure. Then the other lady said she could fix them, but i just can't wait at this point. Not only have I spent a good of time in here, I wad ignored for another 5 t7 minutes (nails were drying). Sooo then she starts yelling that I should just forget it (meaning payment). Well, lady sure, great I don't have to pay for this crap-ass job.. wonderful bye! Never go here. Ever. read more

I came in on12/22/13 and Lynn did my nails. It is now 12/26/13 and my nails look HORRIBLE - four days later. Back track. I got the gel manicure and day one it looked good. Not amazing, but good enough. There was a lot of remnant polish all over my fingers and she didnt really clean up my cuticle area but it was ok enough. Then the next day, the tip one of my nails chipped and snagged on my sweater and it ripped half the gel polish off. Then the next day the top layer of the gel started bubbling and again snagged and came off. It was ridiculous. I went back in this morning and Lynn got an attitude and claimed it was "something i did" and refused to fix anything unless I paid for a removal and full manicure again. I dont know if the gel polish was old or what, but it was clearly not something I could have avoided. I get gel manicures every few weeks and I have NEVER had anything like this happen. Really crappy customer service. They definitely lost a customer not only in me, but in my mom and sisters as well. Way to go Lynn... read more

I got a couple of pedicures done here and they were pretty basic. When I first came in I had a groupon for my first visit. However, the manicure I got the last time I went was the worst I've ever gotten. They polish was all over the place, and the lady said that they looked pretty even though they were hideous. She was obviously not going to do anything about it. The polish was goopey and an hour later it started to bubble. My nails had air bubbles in them, it was the grossest thing I have ever seen. Two hours later after running some errands I changed my clothes only to find that the nail polish was still wet and was ruined from pulling my pants on. I was so mad that after all that time the nail polished squished on my nails. I am never going back. read more

Went and got a spa pedicure here with a Groupon I purchased. I made an appointment at 1pm but decided to go a little early to see if they can fit me in. There were 3 other people getting pedis as well but they had a open seat and let me sit. The ladies there greeted me warmly and I felt welcomed. The place isn't fancy but it's clean and there's plenty of parking. It was also very relaxing and quiet in there. There wasn't women jabbering in Vietnamese or people talking loudly on their phones. Really, really bad. I went in for a shellac manicure and a spa pedicure. $30 seemed like a good deal until everything was said and done. First, the pedicurist hardly put any effort into the pedicure. She hardly scraped under my nails. I asked her to do it and she said that she already did. I guess her opinion of toenail cleaning is not the same as mine. When it came time for the massage part of the pedicure, she just picked up my leg and wiggled it around for a few seconds. It actually made me laugh a bit! When that was over I was taken over to the manicure station for the shellac. Everything seemed to be going fine throughout the tedious process until I saw the end result. I look down and see that 2 of my nails are bubbly and completely misshapen. I lifted my hands and she said it looked so beautiful lol. I pointed out the obvious mistakes and she hesitated, blamed it on me, and finally began to re do them. She did a half assed job the second time, even more so than the first. I ended up leaving with a few bubbles on my nails but I really didn't want to go though the whole process again so I left. It wasn't until I got into my car and that I noticed that 3 nails were not completely painted, the sides were not even touched leaving those nails to look malformed. I was so fed up at this point so I didn't bother to complain. Exactly a week later 2 of my nails are chipped and 1 has already started to peel off. Anyone who has had shellac knows that they are supposed to last 2, maybe 3 weeks if taken care of. I didn't so anything out of the ordinary and mine usually last me 2 weeks. I don't know why this place has such a low rating. I come here all the time for gel manicures and to get my eyebrows done and they always do such a good job. My shellac never peels and lasts for weeks. And my eyebrows are hard to make look good cuz I have an awkward little bald spot but the main lady (I forget her name) always does great. No complaints and great prices ($20 for shellac and $8 for eyebrow wax). read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A GROUPON. Two weeks ago I called Simply Nails and told them that my groupon was expiring in a week and I was out of town. I asked if I could still redeem the groupon the following Friday, the lady said yes just call and make an appointment first. I called today to make an appointment and she informed me that she will not accept the groupon. She said they are under new management and don't have the money??? I explained to her that the amount I paid for the groupon NEVER expires and she has to let me use it. She is refusing to let me use the value I paid towards a pedicure. I love this salon! I've been here about 2 or 3 times, and I always prefer the same lady to do my nails. The prices here are worth it. I also liked how my eyebrows had turned out after getting them done here, & now I prefer getting them here more than anywhere else! I came here bc I saw it as I was driving by. I had an hour to kill and figured that's plenty of time for a pedicure. Not here. I come on and the guy at the front told me there was a 5 minute wait. Fine. No problem. Totally manageable. He sets up the chair and the water and then I end up waiting 25 minutes. Ridiculous. I really should be just left but it was the only time I had available and I've gotten pedis in 30 mi used before so I figured it was still salvageable. The tech and and the guy both said it'd be done in 30 minutes. 25 minutes goes by and base coat hasn't even been applied yet. So I ended up having to leave. It'd be pointless to go through with the paint and not have it dry. So I left. They discounted a whole 5$ from the 25$ price and I let him know why I was leaving. I let him know to give more realistic tome frames. If I'd known I was going to wait 25 minutes I would have left right. read more

I came to this shop because I saw a great deal on Groupon. I called prior to coming in and they said I didn't need top buy the Groupon because they would honor that special if I came in. When I walked in, it took almost 3 minutes before anyone greeted me. They asked what services I needed and told me to wait. I wait for over 30 minutes up front, then another 20 minutes just sitting in the pedicure chair while my feet soaked. The pedicure itself was mediocre and the paint job was terrible! He put three coats of paint on my toes before I became so frustrated and gave up. They do NOT pay attention to details and they rush through their work. Horrible service! She told me the gel polish would last 3 weeks but it chipped after 3 days. I went in two days in a row to get the two nails fixed and she didn't have time. Went here with a friend to get a manicure and eye brow waxing. I sat down for half an hour just waiting for a chair to open up which is fine, it was a small place and all of the employees were busy. One of the employees finishes up with a client and takes me to the back room where they do waxing. Half the time we are in there she makes fun of how bushy my eyebrows are barely paying attention to what she's doing. When she finished the skin around my eyebrows were red and swollen which is normal for waxing, I have done it many times but for some reason the puffiness took several hours to go down instead of minutes like it normally does. By now it has gone all the way down but instead of swelling there is some kind of rash or hives in the same area, a reaction I have NEVER had to any skin wax or oil used in a salon or at home. The wax job itself was quite sloppy, while there are no stray hairs the arch in my right brow is off center and there isn't even an arch in the left one, the price I was charged for this was not worth it when I could have done the same thing at home! The only reason I didn't give this place half a star is because of the amazing job she did on my nails, they turned out really well despite what I was expecting after getting my eyebrows done. This place is great for "simply nails"-and that's it, from my experience. If you want an eye brow waxing go to the Supercuts down the street or just do it at home. read more
