15 minute line on a Saturday at 12pm even with the rain. The loaves of bread were mostly gone at this point so I recommend coming in earlier if you want the seasonal loaves and sourdough. If you only want the bread, there's a separate pre-pay tablet if you don't want to wait in line. Cruffins were almost out too. Plenty of focaccia and other pastries left. Seating was crowded so definitely bring a friend to reserve a seat while you wait in line. Staff was very nice and worked as fast as they could. Very warm inside.

The line was out the door at 9:30 AM but it went by super fast. The staff were super friendly and even though the line moved quickly, they don't make you feel rushed. It was very efficient. The pastries were the most delicious pastries I've ever had. I cannot recommend coming to Bread 41 enough. We went multiple times during our trip to Dublin and I still wish I went more. Don't miss out on this delicious place

There was quite a line when I first arrived in the morning. There were two employees working and the line went by pretty quickly. I ordered, I think, roughly 6 items. I wish they had been put in a box, but they were bagged. I had really high hopes for the pastries, but I didn't quite enjoy them. Overall, they were a bit hard. I don't mind a good crunch of the outer layer, but it was more than that. The morning bun seemed to be the popular item but mine looked burnt. I would say the best pastry I got was the pistachio cruffin. It did have a nice crunch with a soft inside and the cream was the perfect amount of sweet. They don't do takeaway coffee. It was 5 euros if I wanted a coffee to go which they said I get the money back if I return the cup.

Where do I begin? I truly believe everything on their menu is spectacular. I've only ordered 4 items but each of them were absolutely amazing. The Almond Croissant was my least favorite which is incredible since it's my favorite pastry and it was the best almond croissant I've ever had. So crispy outside and creamy almond paste inside. Incredible. The Ham and Cheese Croissant was the crispiest croissant I've ever had, but so buttery and amazing. The Sausage Roll is new to us as we live in the States. We've had the best London has to offer at the Black Pig in Borough Market, which is amazing. But this one, while must smaller, it was so tender and so flavorful. We need these in the USA. The best item we had was the Salted Caramel Knot. For starters there isn't a strong caramel flavor, but it is lightly sweetened and salted butter is soaked into the bottom of this know. It was mind-blowing and addictive. Great job to this team of bakers on everything being so great.

Fantastic pastries! Love the potato danish, absolutely delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide selection of bread and sweet and savory pastries.

This is a quaint, small shop that gets packed with patrons. It smells divine upon entering those doors with the aromas of bread, coffee, and happiness from carb overload. I ordered the cinnamon roll and loved the flaked layers of the roll. It wasn't very "gooey", but it was delicious and the cinnamon filling with the flakiness of the dough was my visited part. They make a cream cheese frosting either lemon and orange zest and you get explosions of citrus on your tongue with each bite that's got frosting. Overall, a good spot and I deeply wish I had a bottomless pit of a stomach so I could've eaten more items. Staff was friendly, the reason for 4 stars is due to there being not a lot of seating and seating being dirty when we went.

My wife and I came in for breakfast 3/6 days in Dublin as it is just around the corner of our hotel. The pastries and breads are great here! Their coffee is pretty good as well, but unfortunately this morning (4/25/2025), they were having some electrical issues, so not coffee was available. They did have hot tea available. They also could not warm up our pastries this morning. The employees were very apologetic about not having coffee available and electrical issues. Bread 41 has a cool coffee shop vibe and we will miss coming in for breakfast in the morning as this is our last visit before flying home.

Don't know what it is but very good LOL

Cute pastry shop. Pastries are huge. I finished half of one only even though I only got two. They were both delicious! I preferred the chocolate almond croissant! Big shop with lots of seating. They have counter seating and table seating. Sugar and cream is self serve. You order at the register and handle the rest!

The pastries here were amazing! It was very difficult to decide which ones to have, so I picked several to try over the course of several days. They were all very good. Here is a list with my favorites on top: * Potato danish: when in Ireland, I had to try a potato pastry; the cilantro pesto on top added a bold flavor to a savory danish * Cheese and onion tart: the sweet caramelized onion is to die for * Dark chocolate rye cookie: a cookie that is not too sweet, which is what I like * Goat cheese and pickled beetroot pastry: this actually makes a buttered pastry taste healthy * Carrot cake cookie: the cream cheese frosting was so good; it must have been the Irish milk that made the difference * Cinnamon scroll: a bit too sweet for me, but the frosting was still good I recommend dining in, because some of the pastries can be warmed up. The potato danish and cheese and onion tart were even better warmed up. Now if I can figure out how to sample their different loaves of bread without buying each big loaf...

Potato chimichuri tart, and a pizza focaccia
    Sep B.

The long lines are worth it. I came here with my sister on a Monday morning and we waited 20 minutes to get in. We ordered a potato tart with Chimichurri sauce, focaccia veggie pizza (this had a kick!), pain au chocolate, and dark chocolate rye cookie, along with coffee. Everything was tasty, and fresh. The quality is top notch. The staff were great at getting customers their order quickly, and with courtesy and friendliness. The customers were holding seats for others who were not yet there, making it hard for parties who had everyone there to find seats. But folks seem to eat pretty quickly and leave without dallying, so we didn't have to wait too long to find chairs.

So glad we stopped by here! Probably the best latte I've had in Dublin since I've been here. I got an almond chocolate croissant too and it the filling was delicious. It was pretty busy but we found a seat and enjoyed our snack at the table.

I went here with a couple of friends and it was fantastic. The line was out the door when we arrived but it moved quickly and was so worth the wait. I got a croissant, a morning bun, a cruffin, a hot chocolate, and two croissants to go for another day. Everything was so good! My favorite was the croissant, but the topping on the cruffin was amazing. It was sweet and creamy and so flavorful. The restaurant was busy so it was pretty loud, but we were lucky and were able to get stools by the window. They don't have free wifi but they do have a bathroom for customers. The people working here are fast and friendly. They bring your drink very quickly and do a great job making them. This place is fantastic and you should absolutely go here.

Delicious! You make bread and use it in the name of your shop??!! I'm there. Gorgeous pastries both savory and sweet and more kinds of bread than you can imagine. The staff member who helped me was so kind and helpful, and extremely patient given my vacation brain fog. Good amount of indoor seating but also easy for take away.

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The portion sizes kind of seem small but that could be because my girlfriend and I split everything and it was basically a couple of bites from each other's dishes. We got the blueberry lemon pancakes, and a meat dish for the needed protein, so one savory and one sweet, the way breakfast is meant to be worshipped and devoured simultaneously. Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. My husband didn't finish his fritters that have avocado on them bc he's not a fan of avocado. He forgot to ask that they be removed. His fault. Very nice young staff. I wish that we had discovered this restaurant sooner bc we would have eaten breakfast there again but we discovered it on our second to last day.

For my tastes the double baked eggs were overdone, but that's double baked for you. Everything else was so delicious though that I truly didn't even notice. It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor. This means you can day drink and not even bat an eye at it being strange. The flavor was delicious and I'll be trying to recreate this at home for sure.
