Great selection of baked good and sandwiches. Lots of seating in the back and outside. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Bread Alone has been my favorite bread for years and YEARS! Not very many days go by that I don't have a slice or sometimes two of one of the Bread Alone varieties. I used to love the loaf called Catskill the best. In the past year I've had more and more trouble finding it in the store. The grocery employees kept saying it was not selling. I called Bread Alone and they were not very helpful. On the website I noticed the Catskill was removed and it said no information about the product. I took photos of my last breakfast of the sliced bread that I still miss. Since then I enjoy many of their other options. I've been fortunate that I have found it in my Health Food Store and my local grocery store. They also have a stand at various Farmers Markets that I visit. Funny thing they charge more per loaf at the Farmers Market! Bread Alone is organic and has very little ingredients. There's no added sugar! I buy a loaf of each type and wrap the slices to freeze. I love a slice with butter and cinnamon, almond butter, and especially Peanut Butter. Bread Alone is good for sandwiches too. Most importantly Bread Alone is a New York State Bakery. Buy Local....

Amazing selection of breads and pastries here. Be prepared to wait in line in the morning busy periods. A lot of the most popular products sell out by late morning. Beautiful interior and decent coffee as well.

So I came to visit the popular &beautiful bread alone Café. The ambience and customer service are great. I just made the mistake of maybe getting the same thing I got last time without knowing I got a hot chocolate which taste like a Swiss miss packet with hot water (I ordered it with almond milk). To get a 12 ounce hot chocolate as you see in the picture this is how full it was. I took two small sips because it was hot. It should've been filled more to the top. And I got a chocolate vegan loaf, which was kind of tasteless very crummy and I would not want to get it again. But I have had their salmon and lox toasted bagel, which was very good. I would definitely get that again. Surprisingly, I went back to the counter and asked the gentleman that bag my items which he wasn't wearing gloves, but both my pastries were put in the bag with no parchment paper or napkins. So I don't know I've never seen that before personally myself 2bakery items in a bag with nothing covering it- it felt really weird to me . Thank you for your great customer service and beautiful cafe. Because you're so busy please make sure the tables are wiped down more often.

Service was so upbeat, friendly and polite, really felt valued as a customer and always great to see people enjoy their work. So for the food, so glad outside of bread and coffee they got whole deal, so many artisan pastries to choose from like muffins, danishes and cheesecake. My hot chocolate was rich and creamy and my muffin and canele which I never heard of before were delicious. The building itself is beautiful with plenty of sunlight shining in and so spacious and clean dining area, to unwind to break bread.

Amazing. Fresh and super duper friendly! We buy the cookies and pastries and freeze them and they're as delicious as ever! I highly recommend the oatmeal cookies, lemon loaf and almond croissants, which are a triumph!

A must in Rhinebeck. The bread on sandwich will beat any place in Rhinebeck and rest of our Milky Way galaxy. Fresh avacado. Sausage flavorful and light. Crispy arugula for your healthy choice of greens. ... and the coffee is solid. Crowd pleaser in Rhinebeck

We had the squash bread with apple jam and the bone marrow + steak tartare as starters. Both were so good, especially the steak tartare that just tasted so clean and fresh, pairing nicely with the richness of the bone marrow. It came with these little potato slices that were scooped out to provide a perfect vehicle for the marrow/tartare. My partner had the carrot tart tartin, which he loved, and my scallops with morel mushrooms were perfectly cooked, with the hazelnuts providing such a nice texture. He enjoyed his phony negroni (they also had other NA options, including other mocktails, an NA beer, and an NA Riesling) and I really liked my Good Shepherd cocktail, their unique take on a dirty martini. We were too full for dessert, unfortunately. The service was great - attentive and friendly, but it felt like we were able to take our time and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed, even though the place was busy. It is definitely on the pricier side and I would recommend reservations as the place was pretty full, but I would absolutely recommend this spot for a delicious, quality meal in Rhinebeck!

I guess I'll…read morejust leave it here: Hello, My wife and I are/were big fans of Cinnamon, and we were really looking forward to our return visit yesterday evening. However, we were met with an experience that really soured us on the restaurant. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated one table away from the window. Then another couple came in, likely had a reservation for the window seat, and were seated beside us. A little close, to be sure, since every other table was open, but we didn't mind. The guy at the window, though, obviously had a big problem with it, because (after first complaining to the host about the volume of the music -- "too loud") he immediately returned to the host stand to complain that we were seated too close, and that they wanted more space. Okay, I get it. But if you want more space, then YOU move. You don't ask the host to move other guests. We were comfortably seated and ready to order when the host approached us with a made-up story that we were mistakenly seated in a reserved table, and could we please move one table over. In hindsight we should have left right then and there. I understand that the host was attempting to defuse an absurd request from an entitled individual, but it truly put a damper on our dining experience. Toward the end of the evening, I suggested to the host that one guest's entitlement shouldn't cost another guest their seat. She was apologetic and obviously just wanted to keep window-man happy. She's young, and I don't fault her -- a more seasoned host might have found a way to smooth things over -- a genuine apology, a complimentary appetizer -- rather than leaving us to feel like an inconvenience. Honestly, I'm more irritated by the ridiculous customers who had us moved. I had a lot I wanted to say to them, but my wife diplomatically insisted that I refrain. We considered leaving a Yelp review, but that doesn't help anybody, and as I said, our past experiences at Cinnamon had all been very positive. In the end, it was just an uncomfortable situation that made me, at least, feel like a second-class customer in a restaurant I'd genuinely looked forward to returning to.

We did sit outside after 5 and it got busy as folks drove in and walked up after work. So, for us..I told hubby he didn't need to buy anything because he already had sweets in the hotel room. However once he had a look at the cases, he just had to buy something! His favorite is the lobster tail and cannoli and I had to get the black and white cookie. We sat outside and since I had to be on a call, hubby went in for a strawberry ice. No chocolate until the weekend . A couple of bites of the black and white cookie for me right away. It's not overly make my teeth rattle sweet and the crumb is very much like a cake. I ate the rest after dinner and it quickly had hardened. Hubby LOVED the lobster tail. 5 out of 5. Hubby took a taste of the cannoli and gave it a thumbs up. He enjoyed the water ice more than Ralph's because it wasn't as icy.
