I thought the place was pretty cute, they had Latin music playing in the background, which I loved because I'm a fan haha. There was a nice view, the food was actually really good. We tried the western omelet and breakfast burrito. The omelet was no ordinary omelet, the egg was thin but it was because they packed it full of delicious veggies, ham and cheese. I had breakfast there this morning, and the food was amazing. I had "The BBK" breakfast sandwich that had a perfectly-cooked fried egg, very flavorful bacon and cheddar, and then the avocado was the best I have had recently. A simple sandwich, but it so so good that I had to jump on to review it. I also brought some scones back to the office, and again, they were just as wonderful as the sandwich. My staff and I all agree we are going to have to make Bread and Butter a regular breakfast spot, and I can't wait to try lunch. That is just the food, but the staff were all so friendly, parking is easy (which is shocking for Eastport), and the view of the harbor is amazing! read more

Super friendly staff, the owners are in there all the time. I have not been disappointed by anything I have ordered off the menu so far. Biscuits and gravy are so unique and delicious! They also sell some milk and ice cream from Maryland which I love. The menu doesn't change often but there is no need for it to change, everything has been perfected. In the summer it is nice to eat outside on the docks and during the winter a lovely view of the Severn river and DTA. Highly recommend! read more

Made a deliberate trip to have breakfast after reading reviews. What a disappointment. Ordered a western omelet, sausage two coffees and an everything bagel, toasted with lox and cream cheese. $32.13 later we left unsatisfied. The omelet was just so, so, and the sausage made on premise was unremarkable. The bagel arrived cold and untoasted, slopped with cream cheese thick slices of salmon and thin slices of tomato, capers and onions. So I took it back in to let them run it through the toaster and was berated by the clearly overwhelmed order taker, who offered no apology, no, "let us make this right," but wanted to argue that "Oh it was toasted, we toast all our bread. You must want it double toasted!" Well, I know when a piece of bread is toasted and when it isn't. I even offered to just take the original sandwich back from the prep cook, but she quickly made me another. As well, the angry employee ordered me to go outside and they would bring it to me, but we had already waited 20 minutes for our order, so I chose to stay put. (Interestingly, she was charming when she took our order, but once she found herself in the weeds her demeanor totally changed). It took the prep line just 5 minutes to make a new one, hot and fresh. But by then, meh. I suppose if you are in the neighborhood it's an option, otherwise don't go out of your way. Wish I could say it was better. read more

Very cute and clean spot. It's on the water in Annapolis but not in the very busy downtown area. The employees were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I had the chipotle chicken panini and it was probably the best chicken panini I've had. The flavors came together wonderfully and the chicken was cooked to a very nice consistency. My husband also really loved his food. He thinks his meal was better than mine but I don't agree. I highly recommend this place! read more

I absolutely LOVE Monica and her staff at Bread & Butter Kitchen. They have a diverse menu with creative daily specials that have never disappointed. I've eaten everything from the filling breakfast burrito (3 eggs, sausage, cheese and homemade salsa!); the BLT sandwich with locally sourced bacon, veggies and bread (ah-mazing!!); the meatball sub (so so so perfect); and finally, my favorite, the curried lentil soup. The setting is cozy, nestled amidst a beautiful view of the bay and lots of sail boats. Totally Annapolis. :) Don't miss this place, it is a gem!! read more

My daughter had breakfast hash and it was way too salty with huge chunks of green peppers. This place is amazing! The food was so good and the prices are super affordable. We fed our family of 4 for less than $40 (including a 20% tip). We also appreciated the vegan/vegetarian menu. All of us ate every bite. The food was full of flavor and tasted fresh. The staff was very friendly when we picked up our food. This place is the BOMB! Had breakfast here every morning during a regatta. Sometimes lunch to take aboard too. Menu is just the right size and includes the things you love, plus some with an ethnic twist. Coffee comes in dark, regular, and decaf and is nice and hot. Like your coffee black but then need ice to cool it down? This place has coffee ice cubes! Also, almond milk if you're doing the non-dairy thing. I have been coming here for the past six months and I've enjoyed each visit. The BBK breakfast sandwich is fantastic, when I finally decided to try something new the breakfast burrito was one of the best I've ever had. Now it is hard to choose! Lunch is great too, the chipotle chicken sandwich is a favorite and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I love ordering via the app online and I can pop in and get my order and pop right back out. They are always friendly and I almost hate writing this because it feels like a great secret place and I don't want the secret to get out! But I have to applaud the great work they are doing. It's a cute, little place. There is only one large table and the rest is bar setting. The bar area is nice though because it faces downtown Annapolis and the water. My husband and I ordered omelets, and they were good. Someone else that we were with ordered the egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. That person liked their meal as well. They especially liked the potatoes that came with their meal. I would recommend this place to others though. read more

(3.5 stars) What this diner lacks in variety and ambiance, the owner (manager?) makes up for in customer service. The missing stars are by no means complaints--- the place is fine for what it is, and I like that it doesn't pretend to be anything different. The place is very small, with very little seating, little room to maneuver, and a limited menu. That said, what you get there is great. The coffee is help-yourself (but no decaf). The veggie omelet was good, the wheat toast tasty (although oddly "crabby"), and the scones crisp and buttery. The salsa de huevos was surprisingly spicy, and very salty, but good. (That salt content is the only complaint about the food.) The lady running the show was very friendly and accommodating; it felt more like you were sitting in a friend's kitchen than in a diner/cafe. But the view was better than what any of my friends have in their kitchens. read more
