We also tried some of the Mexican pastries, my wife stated that the ones from our local panadaria were more flavorful. This was my first time here and honestly It did not disappoint. Right when we walked in we were greeted. They have a variety of pastries available as well as lunch options. We went this past Saturday evening, called ahead and the young lady was very friendly and helpful. Upon arriving met the young woman, who offered great service. We bought a selection of pastries, sweet breads & donuts, all in all came out to $60. I wasn't a fan of the Donuts as the texture and after taste just wasn't pleasant, otherwise everything else was good. Apple pastries and Cinnamon pastry delicious. I really wanted to like this place after visiting it for the third time. I'm disappointed in the quality of the bread. It's poorly executed and it's lacking flavor, and on top of that it's priced as being "high quality" but it leaves a lot to be desired. The staff only performs well when the owner is in sight. I first heard about this bakery on Yelp and knew I had to try it . Inside the bakery looks so nice and inviting with all the pastries facing the windows as you walk in .Inside the display cases are different types of sweet breads from many different cultures . Unfortunately, my very first experience with this restaurant was such a letdown. A friend of mine had recommended this place and raved about how much she loved the service and the food and took me to dine in here today for brunch, however with their only being four people inside sitting down and a full staff. We were completely ignored for 30 minutes as we waited for someone to stop by our table. Not a single waitress or staff member came by to check on us and unfortunately it completely ruined our experience of the restaurant so we got up and left and went to go eat somewhere else I will not be returning. I try to avoid sugar for health reasons but occasionally I'll allow a pastry so when I do, I prefer a quality pastry and have tried Bread & Honey several times and I haven't been let down even once. You get what you pay far and I like that; if I want cheap, I'll get a cheap product but if I want something special, I go to this place! You can get Napoleons or Tres Leches cake and then their sandwiches are delicious. The owners are great local people; very personable. Oh! try their German chocolate cake; you won't regret it. This place is right next to the gym I go to. I've tried every other restaurant that's in that center so I decided to go here after seeing their menu on Google. Decent amount of people in there. Good amount of seating for the size of the location. Service was great. The woman who handed me the menu was doing EVERYTHING and was still attentive to every guest. The sandwich I ordered was one of the best I ever had, it was the Turkey & bacon on grilled sourdough. I'm not a huge avocado fan, but I feel it'd go perfectly on this sandwich.
