This place is crazy good. My children love it too. Our tummies love it. My favorite is the breakfast rellenos and a Bloody Mary sitting outside on a Sunday morning. They have a decent breakfast for Arvada, since we've lost three places for breakfast in the last year. Service was attentive and food was mediocre. Need to cook scrambled eggs and potatoes more. Coffee is fresh. We didn't have to wait long and in a nice sunny location. There is an enclosed patio for winter dining and wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. Waitress was in a hurry pouring my coffee and spilling it on the table and it almost splashed on me, but she didn't notice. They will be adding more things to the menu. This is our second visit here. I'd give them 3.5 stars. Spiced French toast could have more spice. They do roast chilies onsite. read more

When I arrived, the ladies at the host stand were incredibly rude. I overheard the blonde say "it's not even 10:00 am and I could punch people in the face." They were rude and had unhelpful comments to say to everyone. Food is good. Slightly mixed reviews on the atmosphere. Mostly good though. I like their breakfast, it was delicious. I have been several times and each time the food was excellent. It's right in Olde Towne Arvada, along the street where the light rail is. I went by myself on a nice day once, and sat at an outside table across the street from the Light Rail. That was really nice. It was a bistro table with an umbrella over it, and it was enclosed so it didn't feel exposed to things like cars or other outdoor things, etc. And again, the food that day was sooo good. And I went with my husband a couple of times. We sat inside once, outside on their covered patio once. I was a little bit cold on the covered patio and we were seated off to one side, facing a clear plastic tent wall despite there being nicer spots at which we could have been seated. I didn't like that so much and probably should have asked them to move us. But the food is always good and the service was pleasant yet unobtrusive. read more

Bread Winners catered our wedding in June 2019 and it was fabulous! Cynda and her team were great to work with leading up to our event, and the food was amazing the day-of. They have a large menu with many options to choose from! The catering staff was phenomenal as well, extremely helpful and attentive to anything my husband and I needed, as well as extremely thoughtful/accommodating to guests with dietary restrictions. Would 100% recommend, especially if you are getting married at Church Ranch Event Center in Westminster, CO! Bread Winners is a preferred vendors of theirs, and we can now see why. I've always been great pre and post covid, staff genuinely gives the feel of care and comfort when trying to cater to groups. We bring family from out of town all the time here. I had Breadwinners Catering take care of our company's Christmas "Eve" lunch, and I became a believer. Everyone commented on how good the food was! It was so convenient to have someone deliver the food, set-up, and come back and take it all away. They brought holiday appropriate decorations and tablecloths, as well, which was a nice surprise. Tried this place twice and both times it was great! The first time we ate outside on their patio. The second time I ordered take out on a Sunday. When I went to pick up the food I saw the inside dining which seemed busy but relaxed at the same time. There seem to be three areas all of which were busy and yet I thought if we had wanted we could have dined there without much of a wait. That is a big deal to me so I've made a mental note to dine inside in the near future. The menu looks like it has many things on it so we ordered breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy with bacon. Guess what? The biscuits were fresh and fluffy not stale. The gravy was as good as you get and the bacon looked fantastic. It all tasted great. We also ordered a Spanish styled egg dish made with egg whites. It was covered in a pork chili. All gone! I noticed they have pastrami Reuben's and a lot more. Absolutely first rate and worth giving it a try. The Egg Shell down the street has closed so this becomes our go to place since its nearby. If you are in the area you might enjoy a visit to this gem of a place! Returned to dine in around late January 2018. Still the place was moderately busy on a weekday morning. It was nice enough though this time I was not blown away by the breakfast. Service was excellent even if my selection lacked a bit. I had never heard of this place prior to our visit and it suggested by a member of our party. I sure am telling a lot of people about it now so they will know what a gem this place is! The service was perfect and the food was amazing! I had the relleno and it's my go to dish whenever it's on the menu. I am already craving it and it's only been a day. I cannot wait to go back and I will order the rellenos over and over. It was the best I have had and I have had many! The eggs were perfect! If I had to choose one item to improve on it would be the potatoes but I was so satisfied with everything else they could have been rocks for all I cared. I just pushed them aside because no one comes for the side show anyway! The other members of my party had the corned beef hash, salmon hash and breakfast sandwich. Excellent brunch spot. No hipster or over-the-top swanky vibe, it's just a solid place to enjoy a mid morning-afternoon meal. Excellent service and pretty standard brunch items--i.e. pancakes, French toast, eggs Benedict, egg scrambles, etc. The food wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but there's something about the service and the environment of Olde Town Arvada that really makes you unwind and enjoy your food--maybe it's the fact that there wasn't a huge wait to get seated and there wasn't a crowd waiting for you to finish your meal! read more

There is something seriously wrong with the kitchen. My husband had to watch his chicken fried steak go cold while we waited for the rest of the food, which came out a full twenty minutes later. (Not to mention he never received his toast and his chx fried steak was undercooked. C'mon, even IHOP can get that one right.) What may, amazingly, be worse is that my pancake was raw batter in the center -- not just a little doughy, but liquid batter. As a pregnant woman I'm not that excited about consuming raw eggs at the moment, so I was quite disturbed. Is there a pattern here? What else aren't they fully cooking back there? Also of note: the service was virtually nonexistent. We sat around probably fifteen minutes before anyone came to take our order. This server again managed to swing by while my husband's food was cooling off and the rest of us were waiting for our food-- the server assumed we'd finished eating *that's how long it had been since he'd been at the table.* He was again entirely absent when all the food did arrive, and showed up to only to drop off the bill and ask how everything was. Uncooked and potentially packed with salmonella, thanks for asking! As someone who has worked in the restaurant business, to me the whole place seemed so poorly managed. Not a single table was properly wipe-set. The manager (?) who dropped off our revised bill (the who-wants-food-poisoning-pancakes had been removed) did not bother to leave a pen for us to sign. I could not believe how sloppily this restaurant was run. (Except the greet staff. Props to the girls up front taking names and seating tables. The lone star on this review goes to you. Came for brunch and the food was great but it was extremely loud! A few tables away some lady clearly enjoyed a few too many mimosas and she was laughing obnoxiously, it was ear-piecing. This is located in Olde Town Arvada soooo cool. Across from the long delayed light rail which will help with the parking situation. Right on historic Grandview in a bldg I guess was a house at some point. Two patios one huge which is in use as long as the weather is good. Inside a small dining area and bar and a huge dining room in back. We had mimosas....good ones. Great gingerbread lattes and both had the chili rellanos with eggs, tortillas and potatoes. Smothered with pork green chili. I really enjoyed the meal. There is subtle hint of God in the decor...not offensive. Maybe God had a touch in the kitchen? Could convert again. read more

Food takes forever to get to the table, food didn't have any flavor and service is slow X and management seems to focus more on their catering business than they do the restaurant, because is seems to be chaotic and unprofessional. Would not recommend unless you have nothing else to do for the rest of your day and be prepared to wait over an hour for your food and then have it not come out correct. Servers do not seem to be happy or enjoy their job. Too bad for this place because it's very cute inside and has a patio but definitely not worth it. Management needs to get it together. read more

I can't speak for the actual restaurant, because we have not dined there yet. My review is based on the catering side of this establishment. My fiance and I were looking for a highly-rated catering company that was not going to be crazy expensive. I was referred by friends to Breadwinners and after looking at their menu online, we decided to go for it! We were purely looking for appetizer style food for our small, chill wedding reception that we had a couple weeks ago. I contacted them a couple months out to make sure they were available for our wedding date. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and helpful with every question and modification we made to our order. We decided to order about seven different styles of apps and snacks including: deviled eggs, spinach artichoke dip, pinwheel sandwiches, cheese and meat platter, stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped scallops, and Asian style chicken skewers, and an Antipasto platter that came with roasted garlic, veggies, olives and cheeses. Every single thing we ate was amazing, fresh, and was at the perfect temperature when it was time to eat. We requested they arrive at our venue around noon to set up for our 12:30 reception and they arrived a little earlier than that. Everything was set up with perfection and it looked amazing. All the food tasted wonderful and was the perfect amount for around 55 people with some stuff leftover. They showed up on time to pick up all the chafing dishes and everything to ensure we were out out of the venue by the set time we needed to be. Was so disappointed. Very cool environment, great patio. But the we got the food. Ordered a fancy coffee, taste like it had some strange spices in it? Was only a chocolate and caramel. Them food came out. Could tell right away it was going to taste lime a frozen TV dinner. Bacon was fake, sausage patty the frozen kind, potatoes frozen kind, country geavy so so so salty! Egg Benedict was gross. Sause was the consistency of jelly, muffin soggy. Also seemed like it sat under a heat lamp for to long. Service was great. Again wanted to love it. I love how friendly everyone here is. I mean they have some of the nicest servers I've ever encountered. The food is always delicious. The portions are huge and you can totally share with someone if your heart so desires. The Cobb salad is my usual go to sans the bacon. Just absolutely delicious! Aside from the food being delicious it is also very inexpensive. They have strong and tasty coffee. This is going to sound silly, but I absolutely love that they serve everything on fiesta ware plates! I collect fiesta ware so I just get super stoked when I see their beautiful collection. I really like the food here and love that the patio is dog friendly- but we had terrible service! Our drinks took over 15 minutes to come out, and it was another 20 minutes to get our food order in. Once our food came the server never checked on us again and we had to order a second round of drinks with another lady, which again, took so long I went into the bar myself to try to check on our order. Then when we were ready for the tab (we had been finished for quite some time) the server was openly talking, chatting it up with another server completely ignoring us until we literally had to walk over to her and ask for our check. read more
