First time trying this restaurant. Overall, my favorite thing was the ambiance of their outdoor seating since it's very close to sausalito beach. The steak nachos was really good, but I didn't like the fish tacos since the tacos and fish ended up being soggy because of the pickled veggies that they added. It's a self service restaurant, you order and pay before picking up your food. No servers. Parking can be very limited depending on the weather since the beach is closeby.

Its our first time in the area. After our hiking from Alamere Falls, we were hungry and tired. This is the first restaurant we found on our way home. It was freezing outside and there's limited fireplace so we went inside. We ordered steak taco and hamburger. They were so great! The burger is not dry and cooked perfectly and the steak taco is a lot. It tasted very good. Well prepared. The service is great too. The server brought utensils, napkins and catsup. We are definitely going back to get some beers.

Unless you were unprepared for Stinson beach day and it was a last resort, I would stay clear away from this spot. This is an Expensive eatery for a place where you serve yourself. The food was good yes but is about 3x you would pay anywhere else. The ambiance is open seating like a brewery and the view is not beach but neighborhood town road or patio wall. I had the crab bisque, $14 for a pint size with yummy garlic bread (but no crab chunks) and $9 can of suderks beer (being from Davis, I use to get these drafts for $1-3)! I wondered if the tip had to be included already in price. Anyways avoid to save your wallet. Just pack a BYOE (everything) of affordable food and picnic on the beach.

Best shrimp taco of my life. Great location after a big hike. Had a nice glass of wine with it. Great service too.

This is our go-to eatery when we are at Stinson, mainly because of their dog friendly patio. As a couple, we have collectively had 4 or 5 different menu items total and they've all been pretty good. I wouldn't say the food is spectacular but it's tasty enough. I do feel it is slightly overpriced at $18-30/entree but I guess that's the price for an outing to Stinson. Like another reviewer said, it's more about the ambiance and proximity to the beach than it is about the food. Overall, decent eats, lots of tables on the patio, and dog-friendly. Oh! And there are bathrooms available for customers.

    NASHVILLE CHICKEN SANDWICH

The outdoor space is really nice, and the location is great--walking distance to the beach. We got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and were pretty disappointed. Given the name, we were expecting typical Nashville cayenne sauce/seasoning, but the chicken itself had a sweet sauce with it instead. On top of this, the sandwiches were lukewarm. For nearly $20 each, we expected them to be hot and fresh. The food was fine, but quite expensive for what it is, which is probably attributed to the location.

Very mediocre food for an expensive price. Burger was dry. I actually quite enjoyed the fries, they were very crispy, but I wish there were bottles of ketchup instead of just packets. Overall experience left me wanting more, especially considering the price.

overall B+: great North Bay Stinson beach side restaurant/patio. The food and service and prices solid, vibe of the place outstanding. Halibut sammy, fresh poke salad. Just beware of local bird droppings before sitting outside. Drive from the highway was super beautiful and fun, especially in a boxter sports car.

The Drinks were good. Not much else was though. This does seem like a nice chill spot to hang out though. I was really excited to try this place but the food was just a bit lacking for me. My crab sandwich had the flavor but it was really missing the main ingredient: the crab. That's the one thing that really bugs me when I go somewhere and I see Crab Cakes on the menu. You definitely gotta have a good amount because the customer is already paying extra for that tiny luxury. On top of that we ordered Clam Chowder and it was just ok. Definitely could of used some more salt if anything but at least there was there was good enough fixings in that. I'm not sure if I would try them again since I struck out with two items. But at least the fries and booze were good.

We stopped by before our journey to Mendocino. It's a small but cute area. You order outside at the bar and the outdoor patio is pretty big and dog friendly. Bathrooms for customers too and a place to fill up water. It is kind of pricy at $25 for 2 shrimp tacos. Shrimp taco was pretty good. But it's about the vicinity to the beach and location I guess. I'm sure at night it looks even more fun.

This place is clearly a tourist trap but at least the food isn't bad.  Crab melt was decent. There was quite a bit of crab. The fries were decent. Salmon tacos were so so. There was quite a lot of salmon but the tacos didn't taste lively even with the squeeze of lime. The flavour profile of both dishes was muted, but the tacos felt the lack more.

Stopped by for dinner after a hike/exploring Stinson Beach! Our expectations were low, considering the mixed reviews, but we had a good experience. We grabbed a table on the patio, and were delighted to find it was well heated. The ambiance on the patio was pleasant - string lights, dogs, happy people, etc. We went up to order at the bar and I got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and an Arnold Palmer. You also pay at the counter and wait until your number is called to pick up your food. Service was quick and we didn't wait long for our orders to be ready. The portion sizes were quite large, which was perfect because we were starving. It was far from the best Nashville Chicken Sandwich of my life, but the chicken was juicy and the fries on the side were delicious. I will say, it could've used more sauce - not hot at all. My friends got the Ahi Tuna Poke Salad and Fish & Chips, which were both tasty. We also got a side order of the Housemade Guacamole & Chips, which was delightful - definitely made fresh. Overall, the food wasn't mind blowing, but we left full and happy!

Great great food - we sat out on the patio on a sunny March afternoon and ordered from the little outdoor bar! Everything tasted fantastic and they do have full menu of drinks (we got the barrel aged Manhattan and a glass of Pinot Grigio). Service was helpful and pleasant! Food was all packaged to go - I think they automatically do that if you order for dining outside but we didn't complain. There was a nice fire pit out there as well. Halibut tacos were the thing to order!! But everything loved their food - cheeseburger, kids buttered pasta, beet salad. No complaints!

Tri-GRILLED TRI TIP SANDWICH didn't disappoint!

We started off with the vegetable platter, which featured roasted vegetables and squash served over a bed of lentils and seasoned yogurt sauce with toasted pita on the side. I love almost any roasted vegetable, and the yogurt sauce made everything taste elevated; I could have easily finished off the vegetable platter on my own, but I restrained myself to save room for the pizza. My favorite pizza had to be the Calabrian chile and ricotta pizza, which stood out with its sweet, creamy ricotta and the slow burn from the chile oil that lingered long after the last bite. The other pizzas were solid, although they were your more typical pizza combos (cheese, mushroom, meat combo). We spotted buffalo milk gelato on the dessert menu, so we ordered a round of scoops to finish off our lunch. The meat in the burger was something to highlight, and I loved the thick cut fries. I would try a pizza on the next trip like the "Swim Club" served with Calabrian chile honey, or the "Peach Pie" because why not, it's summer! Service was okay, but it was also such a busy time of a day that everyone was just doing the best they could. All in all, highly recommend if in the area and looking for a lovely time/afternoon.
