Came in on a quiet Friday morning and the service was the star - attentive, friendly. They were attentive in that easy, unhurried way that breakfast spots rarely manage anymore. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming, with just a soft hint of bacon lingering in the air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our food arrived fast and served piping hot - the biggest win for this morning meal. I had pancakes (a two-stack, fluffy and classic) with a side of crispy bacon, paired with a Lappert's café mocha. He ordered eggs over easy, fried potatoes, an English muffin, and his own mocha. Simple plates. Our eyes definitely widened when the bill landed - almost $70 with tip for a straightforward breakfast. Sausalito pricing is its own ecosystem, but still, it caught us off guard. We chose this spot because of the strong Yelp rating, and while the service and ambience delivered beautifully, the food could use just a little more personality... and maybe a pinch more salt.

Stopped by here after a hike in Marin county which worked out well as the portions were big! Staff were friendly and nice, definitely planning to come back when in the area. Fries were the standout for me, but the baja chicken burger was great too.

We just finished backpacking and my boyfriend and I really wanted a good breakfast. We ran across Anchorage 5, and the staff was SO FRIENDLY and SO SWEET. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was such a great environment to be around after a long two days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant, so our food came out fast. For breakfast, nothing was like spectacular since it was just typically American breakfast. I would've preferred our hashbrowns more crispy but that's a personal preference. My latte was also ok, I still needed something stronger along the way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean, the decorations truly fit the theme of "anchorage" so my boyfriend and I really liked that feature.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you need to use the restroom, know that you'll have to go out the back and use a restroom that isn't attached to the actual restaurant, I think they share we other places.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restroom itself was very well kept and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The look of this place makes me think half diner half sailor's mess hall haha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They serve standard food, but standard food done really well. I had Joe's Special (an omelette with ground beef, mushrooms, fresh spinach, and onions) along with roasted potatoes and a cup of coffee. It also came with choice of bread, which I eagerly chose sourdough. That was good buttered sourdough :) I'll give their lunch options a try next time.

Mexican Diner in Marin County. The service is ok and the food is your basic staples. It is well prepared, the portions are appropriate and it is fairly priced. I am glad we discovered this place after a long hike, it was a good stop to replenish our energy and keep going. We left with a full stomach and a good feeling so job well done Anchorage 5

A favorite Mom and Pop restaurant! Hidden away on Gate 5 Road in Sausalito. Locals walk there easily from nearby Molly Stone's Market to have a cozy breakfast with a large choice of omelettes, fluffy pancakes, and sandwiches. The Mexican dishes are especially good! They have the best cup of coffee in town! The low-key music allows for easy converstions & relaxation. Service is quick & friendly. For 22 years they have served us well. Visit them & you will add them to your favorites list as well! sausalito

They ran out of some things on the menu but didn't know until I tried ordering it. Their food was good and basic breakfast diner cuisine. Not too busy as it's located in a random area and it was flooded in the front from all the rain. Cute decor as you feel like you're on a boat! Wouldn't mind coming back here again.

I had been on this street but hadn't stopped here to see and eat. I could use Uber to get to this place from Tiburon. I had the cheesy eggs and a root beer. Also potatoes I saved for later. The public restroom is here with key. Friendly and interesting. Must have been here since 60s. Anchorage like Alaska!

Decent food. Did not meet the expectations! Country side potatoes could have been better. Too much lime in Egg Benedict. Decent customer service. Options to sit with pets outside !

Parking was easy to find, which is always a win in Sausalito. There were seats available inside, but we chose to sit outside since we had our dogs with us. The breakfast menu has plenty of healthy options alongside all the traditional diner favorites like pancakes and egg scrambles. I ordered the corned beef hash, and my mom went with Fred's Sweet Bacon. Our food came out hot, my over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly, and my mom absolutely loved the bacon--it had the perfect mix of sweet and slightly spicy. Overall, what a great spot for breakfast. I'm a local and I will be talking shit to all my people about how much this place sucks. I wouldn't have had such a strong feeling if the waiter wasn't such a po towards my mom. I've been trained in French cooking and I am telling you what I was served was not a croque madame. Read a French cookbook it's not hard. Also if I'm going to be so honest, the egg was over cooked and yall were so cheap with the crab on the Benedict. Now I know why the restaurant was empty. How It's Made Prep: Brush bread with Dijon mustard and layer with ham and Gruyère.Toast: Fry the sandwich in butter until golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.Bake/Broil: Top the sandwich with a layer of Béchamel and more cheese. Broil in the oven until bubbling and browned.Finish: While the sandwich is broiling, fry an egg sunny-side up. Top the hot sandwich with the egg and serve immediately.

The vibe is chill, no false pretense airs - down to earth, welcoming you in to stay for a while. The coffee is spectacular with selections of flavor options true to their description including The Habibi Latte ($6.25) the Caramelized Banana Latte ($6.50) and the Strawberry Salted Honey Latte ($6.75). On my first visit, I ordered online for store pickup, The Habibi Latte ($6.25) 16 oz ($0.50) with Ghost Town Oat Milk ($0.25), Tigerwalk espresso ($0), double shot (default) in a disposable cup ($0.25). This latte has flavors of orange blossom, cardamom, clove and vanilla syrup. The Habibi Latte was velvety with the flavors of spice and a hint of orange lingering on the tongue. The milk was steamed perfectly, ready to sip and enjoy at the perfect temp. On my second, I ordered at the cafe counter then walked over to the coffee house to pick up my order. The young man at the counter had a beautiful aura, very friendly and engaging - I was grateful the online ordering was not accepting orders, otherwise I would had missed out on this experience. My order this round was the Caramelized Banana Latte ($6.50) 16oz ($0.50) with Ghost Town Oat Milk ($0.25), Mexico Pluma Oaxaca espresso ($0.50), Extra single shot ($1.25) with the default double shot in a disposable cup ($0.25). The profile is house made banana spice syrup. It reminds me of a banana foster, delicate with a pronounced balanced flavor. The drink is creamy, with a Caramelized banana flavor lingering on the tongue - so satisfying. The banana is far from overpowering, complimenting the caramel notes. I purchased a couple bags of beans, hoping to relive the essence of Sausalito Equator coffee at home.
