Casual and cute little diner with inside and outside seating. Parking was easy! Came in when it was fairly busy and still had very quick service! Food was out in 5-10 mins once we placed our order. Everyone was very attentive and kind.

The place was bustling as we came in, seems to be a local favourite and on a nice warm morning the vibes are great to stop for a bite Hash browns were pretty standard, what more do you want from it? My main was the pork belly salad. Unfortunately this is a pretty small dish to be considered with the other breakfast mains, and for its price tag. This would make side salad at best, ingredients wise there are few, the pork belly either was too small to get a good mouth feel or just lacked flavour. Wolfed this down with the hash browns and was still very hungry, I'd recommend another dish

Just outstanding! Came here after hiking with a few folks and we were able to get a nice table on the patio. The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. I ordered the Mexicali Blue Burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I've eaten. The meat was perfectly cooked, the cheese sauce was just incredible, and even the bread was the right texture. I got a chance to taste the Smash Patty Melt and it was extremely flavorful, great texture as well. Shoreline Coffee Shop is just a sweet spot in a great location with an incredible vibe. I will absolutely be back.

One of the hidden gems in Marin. This is my must stop breakfast stop whenever I'm in the area. The place is no frills; just pure good vibes and amazing food

Alice's special (subbed toast for english muffin) and no frills French toast

Ordered: Alice's special with scrambled eggs and subbed the toast for an English muffin, and the no frills French toast. Also got a coffee. Highlights: No wait around 11am on Friday. Servers were nice and quick! Food was straight forward and just what we needed after hiking Muir Woods for a bit. Notes: I'd say it is pricier (about $40 for everything) but overall good. I'd come back if I were ever in the area (seems like a classic local spot)!

Had breakfast here during my stay in Mill Valley and loved the old school diner feel. Got quickly seated in a booth, diner coffee was great and had a classic American breakfast with eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast and a pancake. Service was friendly, food came out hot and fast. The bacon here was exceptional. Will definitely return when back in the area. They also have outdoor seating. Seems like it gets really busy during peak hours, we got lucky and arrived just as a table was leaving. No complaints and really enjoyed it!

    Kale Salad

The first thing that strikes you walking through the doors is the exceedingly charming retro diner vibe. That aesthetic alone makes a meal here worthwhile. Luckily, the service and food largely lived up to that initial impression. The servers made me feel like a regular on my first visit and I felt right at home amid the old school diner trappings. My kale salad did almost everything well, but 1) I wish they offered a vegetarian protein add-on; 2) I wish the tomatoes were cut more thoughtfully than what you'd find at a cafeteria; 3) the dressing wasn't spicy as advertised on the menu. Despite those nits, I'd wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Shoreline and look forward to returning.

Man, I love this place. It's my go to breakfast place. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito are amazing. But my fave dish is the meatloaf with softly scrambled eggs plus the jalapeno hash browns. Plus the lattes here are top notch, and the friendliest staff you can imagine.

Sitting outside was nice there was good weather the food came out quickly. I really enjoyed the brioche bread they used for the hamburger and it made a big difference.

I'd highly highly recommend ordering the french toast that way cuz it was really delicious and flavorful! The corned beef hash also tasted really good and hit the spot. Honestly there were so many options in the menu that looked really yummy, so you could order anything and come out satisfied. The service is really amazing. I asked them to make alot of adjustments for me and the waiter was really nice and accommodating, and the food turned out great! We always ask for a table with chairs because I have back problems and can't sit in their totally worn booths and the host has never had a problem with that request. But yesterday the regular host wasn't there and we were told they were busy and we had to sit at the counter or in a booth because they didn't want to put us the two of us at a table for four (there were two tables available). We waited for nearly ten minutes and when I asked again if we could sit at one of the tables was almost rudely told no, they were busy. So we left and went to Joanie's on California Avenue. They were also busy but immediately seated us and we had a much better lunch. Sometimes it's good to change things up as we'd forgotten how kind and attentive all the of the staff are at Joanie's and how much better the food was. And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.

Tye, our server, was friendly and kind and on top of refilling waters, offering drink suggestions, and grabbing to-go boxes before we even asked for them! I had the chicken parmigiana, which was light and flavorful, and the steamed spinach that went with it was delicious (and I HATE cooked spinach, but gave it a try and actually enjoyed it for the first time ever!) The andouille sausage that was served with the pesto risotto was smoked and you could really taste it, and the spicyness was just perfect. The pesto sauce was heavy on the pine nuts in the best way. It wasn't oily or heavy on the basil or garlic like a lot of pesto sauces can be, and that left the risotto so light and almost citrusy. My cousin had the harvest garden dish, and they were stunned by how delicious it was. As a vegetarian, they are particular about their veggies, but everything was 'perfectly cooked'. At the end of the meal we were surprised by the panna cotta with the fruit remoulade, which we devoured in like three minutes haha! We really enjoyed all of the food, the service, and the ambiance. We only wish we lived closer, but might make the 90+ mile trip from Sacramento just for the amazing food now and then.
