Good, fresh, enjoyable breakfast. The basics done well... Service is a work in progess. Place your order at the counter, pay and get a number. They bring your food to the cafeteria style tables. Invariably you see someone walking around holding plates of food searching for numbers. Food and drinks sometimes come out at different times, which with kids can be really challenging and somewhat frustrating... A really good dependable local option for breakfast. Fresh, affordable and quick. The restaurant isn't homey or fancy not much of an ambiance just breakfast done well. Period end of story. Usually very busy on weekends with well healed families galore. Wait times for tables are typically short as this kitchen puts out voluminous amounts of food and people eat and get out of dodge in a rather expeditious manner. read more

A great place to grab a quick breakfast. We go every Friday it's our tradition now. Super fast and very fresh and tasty food. My only suggestion is for them to get some bagels and buns that are gluten free other than that no complaints at all. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. A co-worker suggested that I check it out after complying that all we had in Westlake Village were froufrou burgers. Very decent food! I wasn't expecting a lot from this place, but the food did not turn out disappointing at all. Especially the burger-- it was very juicy and flavorful. I'm not a big fan of burgers, but I ate half of my bf's burger cuz it's THAT good. I got the sausage breakfast burrito, and it was alright. The food tastes okay (greasy and salty) but you feel terrible afterwards. Price is ok. I call in my phone order so I don't have to wait 30 mins inside where there's no place to sit but your dirty tables. I go to tell the girl who took my phone order my name and she said, I put you under the name Preston. So I say that's fine as long as I get my order and Preston doesn't show up. Let me explain how I was charged just shy of $18 for a $11.50 salad. I called on the phone to order a pick up for a Cobb salad. I asked to have the ham replaced with chicken. The person taking my order let me know it would be a "little bit" more for chicken. I said that was fine. I go to pick up my order and the woman who I assume is one of the owners says "that will be $17.70" $17.70 for a SALAD???? She said "well you added chicken right?" And I said "I asked to have the other protein replaced with chicken and was told it would be a little bit more, not $5 more, that's literally half the price of the salad I ordered in the first place" she just looked away and said "I'm sorry" no offer to assist since I was obviously mislead on the phone, nothing. AND to top it off, when I went to eat my salad they didn't not even give me a single cup of dressing. I used to love this place when Nick was the owner, now this is just robbery. We showed up in a hot and sweaty group for lunch after a hike nearby, and occupied most of the tables that we grouped together in the outdoor seating area. Service was attentive, and cheerful. Food was inexpensive (a gyro and drink for just under $10 for me), filling, and pretty tasty. Our bolus of hikers overtaxed the kitchen briefly, so last of our group got their food quite a bit after the first in line: me :-). As we finished, we restored the tables and chairs to their original positions, earning us a grateful smile from our server. I noticed numerous little groups of friends in the restaurant: A Mahjohng game going on in the corner, a young couple, their baby, and their in-laws, etc. Obviously a family-oriented neighborhood place. The menu is huge. Looking forward to coming back to try something else after another area hike. read more

I ordered a breakfast burrito on the phone I came in to pick it up the guy behind the counter was kind of pushy about leaving a tip which I thought was kind of stupid when you're picking up an order. Also the fact they charge 2.25$ for an a half of an avocado? when I work at a grocery store and are avocados each are not even two dollars so if you're going to charge people to 225 you should give them the whole avocado because you're ripping people off the Burrito itself was very bland I could not taste any salt and the pepper any seasonings it overall did not have a good taste at all I will not be back. read more

The breakfast burrito is amazing...like anything mexican if you don't put salsa or something on it....of course it could be dry but with that said, use very minimal salsa and never found it dry.....recommend.......try it again! Love this breakfast place in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area. The food is always good and the coffee is even better. I had the avocado omlette this morning and enjoyed it as much as usual. I also have tried all their other omlettes and French toast -- they are good as well. My wife's favorite pick is the breakfast sandwich as it doesn't come with the grilled potatoes most other dishes come with. I like their other location in Camarillo slightly better -- primarily because one or both of the owners is always there. And they are very friendly. read more

Just moved to the area so were very excited to try it out given reviews. Wait wasn't too bad but food was not that great. Although eggs benedict was reasonably priced, eggs cooked hard and english muffin was so hard I almost couldn't cut it. Hollandaise and potatoes were just ok. Breakfast burrito was bland with almost no flavor. I *hate* drinking from paper cups. No inside tables so sat outside where they had the shades down to protect from the cool weather - lots of heaters - none turned on. We were in the open doorway (last table available) and asked 3 times to have the heater turned on - each time they said sure, walked away and did nothing. So after a quick, chilly meal - we took off. We didn't care for the atmosphere, the food or the lack of attention given a simple request. Unlikely to return. read more

The people are friendly, the food is delish, and the price is low. I came here for breakfast and sat on the patio...so lovely on a nice day! I wouldn't have it any other way; the patio is definitely the way to go. Basically, this place has good old fashioned breakfast plates, Mexican breakfast (huevos rancheros, burritos, etc), and Greek food and stuff for lunch. The menu is vast, yet simple. The old Greek man running the place will make you smile, guaranteed. I had the breakfast special featured on a poster in the window, which came with tasty potatoes, toast, sausage, and eggs. Everything was good, and I left feeling warm and happy...without having lightened my wallet too much (less than $10!!)! Yum! I believe this place is a chain, so find one near you! read more

2.5 stars. Average diner food. Wasn't bad, just wasn't fantastic. Found a hair melted into my cheese on my turkey sandwich. As I get older and cook more I'm starting to feel like eating out is a huge waste. Its discouraging when you pay $24 for "ok" food you could have made it at home, healthier and way cheaper. This is how this place left me feeling. Nothing "wrong" with the food per say, but the fact I know I could make the same items at home with minimal effort leaves me not wanting to come back. read more

I love this place! I've been several times and the service has always been great, but the last time was the BEST. I went with my boyfriend and my dog, and we sat on the patio outside. Not only did they say we were welcome to sit out there with a dog, but the owner sent my dog a slice of bacon! (It was her birthday too, so a great treat for her.) Whenever I'm near Westlake Village, or coming for a hair appointment at Cleo's Hair Salon next door I always love to stop here for their breakfast even if it's lunch time. I always get their 3 egg breakfast with bacon, and they are very generous with the amount of food they give you. The 3 egg breakfast with bacon comes with your choice of eggs (scrambled, sunny side up, etc), 3 slices of bacon, cut up roasted potatoes that are soft and a little crunchy, and two slices of your choice of toast, plus jam and salsa. They give you a generous amount of eggs compared to most breakfast places I've been too where they skimp and they're nice, fluffy and delicious. I always contemplate if I want to buy more to take home with me for later because it's so good and I'm not usually in the area very often. read more

I loved this place! The food is good, hearty breakfast food. Nothing too fancy, but good for a big breakfast. I had the greek breakfast burrito and it was very tasty! The prices were very reasonable for what you get. A great deal, IMHO. But here's the thing that will make me come back: the staff was EXTREMELY nice. The owner (or at least he looked and acted like it), was very accommodating with our orders and he even gave us 2 free coffees! So nice of him! They have a coffee bar as well. There are a bunch of flavors and coffee-extras, so it's a nice little perk for the cafe. The coffee is a tad watery, but I can't complain when you get a free cup. Great job B-cafe!
