    Fusion Salad, Seasoned Fries
    Aimee S.

I've been going to this place since they had a tiny location in Newbury Park. The menu is deceptive, it looks like oh, salads and sandwiches, but like all great spot, it's the little things. The fries are addictive, crispy and perfectly seasoned, their "house" sauce - a sweet and savory aioli is crack. This fusion salad is perfection, every thing is perfectly seasoned, insanely fresh, but what gets me is how clean the flavors are, every ingredient comes through clearly and then complements so well. Service is warm, genuine and owner driven. Space is bright and tasteful but nothing overly fancy. Prices are a little over average, but quality really makes you not blink an eye over it.

    Carrot-ginger soup. Yum!

This is one of the best places in town! The owners and staff are incredibly personable and give attention to every customer. They are kind and genuine in all their interactions. The food is delicious as well. I especially love their steak sandwich. The restaurant is set up as a cafe and many customers meet friends here. No one is rushed out, giving the place an atmosphere of relaxation and ease. I highly recommend a visit!

My cousin and his wife from out of state came to visit my folks and I last night, so I suggested we come here for dinner based on my past experiences here. Service was quick and friendly last night. As always, the place was kept well maintained and clean. Everyone enjoyed their meals. There are plenty of pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu. The restaurant also offers a nice selection of drinks. I only wish they offered their breakfast items all day.

What a wonderful family run restaurant! My friend made reservations for the 4 of us, not really needed, but we were greeted with a smile by the owner and the table set and ready for us. The menu is extensive with wonderful menu options, especially for us home cooks that want to try something culinary different than what we make at home. Simply put, all 4 dishes were excellent and wonderfully plated! The Potato Leek Soup is a "must order" and the sweet potatoes fries all amazing as Starters. My husband's Flat Iron Steak was very tender and cooked perfectly, although he felt the portion could be larger. He loved the extra crispy seasoned fries! My Penne Arrabiata with Chicken was amazing! I was asked my preference on the amount of heat, I said medium and it was medium. A perfect dish; a wonderful blend of flavors with moist chicken and ample goat cheese creating a wonderful savory experience. It was a very large serving so lucky me, enough left over for a second meal tonight! Our friends ordered the Cilantro Pesto with Chicken. He said it was absolutely delicious and I was able to snap a photo of it before it was all gone! His wife ordered an absolutely beautifully plated and tasty dish, the Fusion Dish; Shrimp seasoned and cooked to perfection, unique potato puree type croquets and Shitake Mushroom Spring Rolls with wonderful dipping sauces. House Chillean Chardonnay wine was wonderful and only $9.00 a glass, nice selection of on-tap beer, Moscow Mules a thumbs up. The owner is delightful and the service was excellent! We can't wait to go back with our entire family.

Perfect Crunch. Tuna simple and on point.

So Simple. So Amazing. I am a sucker for a good tuna melt. They are hard to find. Grabbed one from Fusion for take out. It was amaaaaazing. I will be back.

We visit this extraordinary restaurant as much as possible and bring friends with to enjoy it all. It's a beautiful setting outside and inside, and the owners are available and friendly! The food is plentiful, delicious, and plated artistically! There's even live music at dinner. You can't go wrong, and it's so satisfying to frequent a local neighborhood restaurant!

Happy Holidays at Fusion! A great meal is coming soon!

Lovely restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, we had dinner and enjoyed looking through the large menu first. Many Veggie, Vegan choices. The Coconut salmon is spectacular! The owner is delightful and enthusiastic about her meals & varied cuisine. We enjoyed our dinners and the careful preparation of each item.

    Grilled Chicken Sandwich

My boss invited us here for lunch and this has been my 3rd visit here. This place is always busy. The best part is that it's locally owned and ran by the owners I think and the service is fast, friendly, and ooooohhh sooo delicious. We all ordered very different plates and they all came out quick and hot. The portions are big and filling. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries and it comes with this dipping sauce that is oh so good too. The service is top notch like a fancy restaurant and the pricing is affordable for the area and service/portions. I highly recommend this restaurant as I've never had a bad experience and the food tastes fresh and healthy since they use clean oils to cook and fresh ingredients.

Ask the Community - Fusion Grill

Ca n someone do the H. Hour and sit outside for a beer?

The last time I was there, they were not offering happy hour.

What time does happy-hour start? ;-)

Every day, 2pm-6pm I know they have $2 bottled beer (I believe only one of the bottled beers has this special per day, so ask which one) and $4.50 glasses of white wine

Do they sell any vegan desserts?

    Yes

The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is so caring and friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill. It seems that there is currently some outside remodeling going on, but the restaurant is still open. My husband ordered the red curry with chicken. We agreed that it was delicious. I ordered the Thai Chow Mein and would have definitely asked for another order if I hadn't eaten a whole order of Fresh Rolls by myself lol (I was starving and they came out first, these were only okay in my opinion)! We ordered Sa-te chicken for my toddler, but she was being a little picky today. One of the servers attempted to bribe her to eat her food by promising her a scoop of ice cream. That motivated her to try again, but ultimately she didn't like the chicken. We thought it was delicious though. She still got her ice cream. We were sad to see that our favorite server wasn't working today, but we were still happy with our visit! The beef in the ox shoyu was soft and the chicken in the chicken miso ramen was also flavorful. My complaint about the broth in general is that it is salty, but honestly most ramen places are like that. To me the broth was more of a dipping sauce than soup, I found it too salty to drink directly. Service: I had wanted to order the vegetarian ramen for the toppings and sub the vegetarian broth for the beef but "no substitutions allowed" which I think is kind of ridiculous because ramen is literally put together with broth, noodles, and toppings. It is dead simple to make a substitution of broth but...oh well. The nice touch was the small Japanese chocolate wafer given with the bill.

Nori Japanese Grill has clearly remained a local favorite and standing the test of time like that deserves a round of applause. I've driven by this spot on Thousand Oaks Boulevard so many times and after running errands one afternoon, I found myself starving and wanting something casual where I could get in and out quickly. The restaurant is super casual, and you order at the counter, but they take care of everything after that. Your food is brought right to your table, and honestly, I love this style of dining. You pay upfront, so once you're finished eating, you can simply head out whenever you're ready. It's perfect for a quick lunch. I was being a basic girl when I came and kept it simple with shrimp tempura and a California roll. The food here is solid, simple, and satisfying. I'm not here to tell you it's "the best sushi I've ever had" but it's just classic Japanese comfort food done well. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and I liked the tempura side sauce for dipping. The california roll was no frills but tasty. For about $25 after tip, I got a drink, a sushi roll, and shrimp tempura, which honestly isn't bad in today's economy. It definitely beats grabbing fast food or eating at the same old boring chain restaurants.
