My cousin and his wife from out of state came to visit my folks and I last night, so I suggested we come here for dinner based on my past experiences here. Service was quick and friendly last night. As always, the place was kept well maintained and clean. Everyone enjoyed their meals. There are plenty of pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu. The restaurant also offers a nice selection of drinks. I only wish they offered their breakfast items all day.

What a wonderful family run restaurant! My friend made reservations for the 4 of us, not really needed, but we were greeted with a smile by the owner and the table set and ready for us. The menu is extensive with wonderful menu options, especially for us home cooks that want to try something culinary different than what we make at home. Simply put, all 4 dishes were excellent and wonderfully plated! The Potato Leek Soup is a "must order" and the sweet potatoes fries all amazing as Starters. My husband's Flat Iron Steak was very tender and cooked perfectly, although he felt the portion could be larger. He loved the extra crispy seasoned fries! My Penne Arrabiata with Chicken was amazing! I was asked my preference on the amount of heat, I said medium and it was medium. A perfect dish; a wonderful blend of flavors with moist chicken and ample goat cheese creating a wonderful savory experience. It was a very large serving so lucky me, enough left over for a second meal tonight! Our friends ordered the Cilantro Pesto with Chicken. He said it was absolutely delicious and I was able to snap a photo of it before it was all gone! His wife ordered an absolutely beautifully plated and tasty dish, the Fusion Dish; Shrimp seasoned and cooked to perfection, unique potato puree type croquets and Shitake Mushroom Spring Rolls with wonderful dipping sauces. House Chillean Chardonnay wine was wonderful and only $9.00 a glass, nice selection of on-tap beer, Moscow Mules a thumbs up. The owner is delightful and the service was excellent! We can't wait to go back with our entire family.

Perfect Crunch. Tuna simple and on point.

We visit this extraordinary restaurant as much as possible and bring friends with to enjoy it all. It's a beautiful setting outside and inside, and the owners are available and friendly! The food is plentiful, delicious, and plated artistically! There's even live music at dinner. You can't go wrong, and it's so satisfying to frequent a local neighborhood restaurant!

My boss invited us here for lunch and this has been my 3rd visit here. This place is always busy. The best part is that it's locally owned and ran by the owners I think and the service is fast, friendly, and ooooohhh sooo delicious. We all ordered very different plates and they all came out quick and hot. The portions are big and filling. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries and it comes with this dipping sauce that is oh so good too. The service is top notch like a fancy restaurant and the pricing is affordable for the area and service/portions. I highly recommend this restaurant as I've never had a bad experience and the food tastes fresh and healthy since they use clean oils to cook and fresh ingredients.

Happy Holidays at Fusion! A great meal is coming soon!

Ask the Community - Fusion Grill

Ca n someone do the H. Hour and sit outside for a beer?

The last time I was there, they were not offering happy hour.

What time does happy-hour start? ;-)

Every day, 2pm-6pm I know they have $2 bottled beer (I believe only one of the bottled beers has this special per day, so ask which one) and $4.50 glasses of white wine

Do they sell any vegan desserts?

    Yes

The vibe is industrial and low-lit, like the kind of bar where the walls have stories but won't snitch. Small space, metal-and-concrete aesthetic, but somehow still warm and cozy. Perfect for a date night or a "let me mentally unpack my life over cocktails" hang with my best friend. What keeps me coming back? The bartenders actually listen. I can walk up and give the vaguest description -- "classic but not sweet, strong but not too whiskey-forward, smooth but still gives main character energy" -- and they'll just... create it. They've made me drinks that aren't even on the menu -- Army Navy, Aviation, etc. -- and every single one was spot on. They always manage to find the right drink for me, which is honestly a skill more people should have. The servers are genuinely nice, the liquor selection is solid, and the energy is chill without being pretentious. I've also heard there's a speakeasy hidden in here somewhere, and trust me, one day I'll find it like I'm unlocking a side quest. Definitely one of my favorite bars in Thousand Oaks -- industrial vibes, great people, and bartenders who match drinks to my personality better than most men can.

We decided to come back with friends but on a Wednesday night at 6:30 instead. Sat at a table in the area where the music was but it was very loud and tightly packed with tables and guests. I could barely hear my friends due to the loud conversations, loud laughter, and just the acoustic affects in the restaurant were bad from that. We ordered steak, sides, and thought baked potatoes but got mashed instead. After we ate dinner we asked the manager if we could seat outside for dessert instead due to the loud noises around us. He brought us there but we had to wait at the bar outside till we were seated took an additional 15-20 minutes. After seated it was better than inside with a nice decor too instead. Dessert was ok service good. For such a high-ended restaurant and pricy food it's only avarage, inside decor pretty but very and tightly packed with guests and loud especially for a week day night kind of unusual, I was disappointed think it's a bit overrated sorry to say. I think Flemings, Ruth Chris, or Morton's are better food wise for the same price and dining experience and not as loud too. Think what could make it better is to thin out the crowded packed affect in the main inside dining area would help a lot too, or, if we ever go back sit outside instead I recommend. The service and staff there were very nice, friendly, and attentive and worked hard during service though. So overall raiting is a 3. Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

Some restaurants feed you. Coin & Candor hosts you. There is a difference--subtle, refined, and…read moreimmediately noticeable the moment you walk through the glass doors and into the bright, contemporary calm of the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. It's a restaurant wrapped in soft light and clean lines, where the waterfall outside performs like scenery designed exclusively for diners. You can sit indoors or outdoors, but the experience is never "inside" anything--it feels like dining in a terraced garden without wind, bugs, or the risk of a leaf landing in your omelette. Civilization perfected. The setting is serene, composed, elegant. Staff glide rather than walk. Voices are measured. Service is professional without stiffness--warmth without overreach. Our server, Ashley, deserves her own paragraph. Ashley is the kind of server who makes you want to write a thank-you card to corporate. Patient, knowledgeable, poised under questioning that would have made lesser servers google "salmon rillette meaning." She moved with brisk elegance--the kind that suggests she likes her job, respects the kitchen, and possibly knows more than all of us at the table combined. If Four Seasons built a restaurant from hospitality alone, it would look like her. Now--the food. Or more accurately, the bread, which deserves a short documentary special. Fresh bread is not unusual. House-made dough is vaguely common. But milled-in-house flour? That's a plot twist. Most places brag about "fresh daily," but Coin & Candor gently implies, We grew this bread from the atomic level. Bread isn't served--it's birthed. Ordered like an entrée, prepared like a ceremony, and worth every moment of anticipation. It arrives warm, structured, aromatic, like the beginning of a friendship. Spread across it, the salmon rillette tastes like the ocean woke up early, showered, and arrived on time. Tender, fresh, lightly smoked, with marinated red onion and capers providing bright little bursts of acidity. On warm bread, it becomes a joyful ensemble--salmon at the microphone, capers on percussion, bread holding the bass line. The Huevos Rancheros deserve reverence. Traditionally, it's a hearty mess--beans and eggs mingling in chaos. Here, it was architecture. A crisp tortilla foundation, decadent beans, and an egg crowned with a yolk so orange it could have been harvested from a chicken living its best life--sun, grass, jazz music. It tasted like rancheros refined into royalty. In our joking table summary: Huevos Equestrian Center. Elegant, composed, yet still Mexican at heart. The risotto was creamy and balanced, every grain distinct yet unified, like polite dinner guests. Greens added lift, seasoning was confident, texture neither mush nor al dente protest. A dish that whispers rather than shouts, but lingers. And then--the French omelette, a culinary high-wire act. Many proclaim they can make one. Few do. Coin & Candor delivered fluff--soft, mousse-like, lightly folded without browning, as if the chef had spent hours whispering encouragement to the eggs. Mushrooms and cheese rested inside like secrets. A bright arugula salad completed the plate with refreshing contrast. If omelettes had royalty, this one could claim lineage. Coffee followed--yes, it was good. But by then the restaurant had already won us. Coin & Candor succeeds because it understands balance: luxury without arrogance, comfort without casualness, technique without ego. It is the Four Seasons expressed through food--not flashy, not loud, but deeply intentional. You leave both satisfied and gently impressed, like someone just told you a clever joke in perfect dry English tone and you only fully appreciated it on the drive home. We will return. Happily. And next time, we'll start with the bread again--because once you've had flour milled with devotion, it's difficult to go back.

It looked cute, had plenty of people, dogs on the patio, and we were craving a light bite -- so we thought, why not? I love when an unexpected dining experience hits and completely exceeds your expectations, and Zinqué did exactly that. We arrived at the perfect time: happy hour. Both of our drinks were included, and they offered a deal on any three tapas. We tried the deviled eggs, chicken wings, and burrata pizza -- each one was elegantly plated, packed with flavor, and exactly what we needed. Their drink menu is extensive, with tons of happy‑hour options. I especially appreciated their long wine list and that they clearly mark which wines are organic, natural, or biodynamic -- something I always look for and can be hard to spot on menus. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and even chatted with us for a bit. The space is beautiful, dog‑friendly, and has a great outdoor patio. Inside, there's a cozy lounge‑style area in the back and a half‑circle bar. They also offer Wi‑Fi, making it a great spot to get some work done while enjoying a drink. On the way out, I noticed they have a connected store and café with home goods, kitchen items, artisanal snacks, cheeses, wines, and even an espresso bar. It was so fun to browse and grab a lovely bottle of wine to go. A perfect, unexpected Malibu find -- we'll definitely be back.

I really liked their house made ponzu omg and if you like spice you have to ask for a "hot drop" in your suaces. Can't wait to go back this week hehe I also really enjoyed their appetizers the cucumber salad was really good The meat wrapped with enoki mushrooms was incredible Salmon sashimi is better the sushi places lol Love this place

Service and interior were really great but the food itself was extremely disappointing…read more My partner and I tried the ribeye + beef brisket with kombu base & sukiyaki. The first thing that I was surprised by was that any base broth that wasn't effectively just water coated extra. The seaweed water base was pretty much flavorless and would only recommend for people looking for something more bland. The sukiyaki was also not amazing because it was more salty than sweet. Felt like too much soy sauce was added for my taste The briskets were pretty low grade for the price (imo). They were super tough to chew and the ribeye was only marginally better. The veggie platter that came with the order was pretty standard and nothing bad nor special about it. Seating arrangement is a bit awkward for larger groups. My group was 5 people and since it's all bar seating it was difficult to converse with everyone so I wouldn't recommend this spot for bigger groups Staff here were awesome. They were professional and took care of us well during our entire dining experience Overall, for the price and quality of food I wouldn't recommend this spot for folks who regularly have Shabu Shabu.
