My second time visiting an escape room and had a lot of fun! Our group did the Undercover Alley room, and honestly, it had hard moments but it was super fun! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although, hard to hear at times, because the overhead sound system could use some maintenance. They also take a picture of your group at the end and send it to your phone (for free)! I would most definitely return to try another room!

I hadn't done an escape room in a while and I thought of going here for my birthday at the recommendation of a friend. Our game master Alex was great she gave us an introduction and the run down on what can and should be touched. She gave us good clues and also kindly unlocked a pair of handcuffs that I accidentally got locked to in the hallway. We choose to do the Do Not Disturb room. It was a kidnapping situation and your job was to escape the kidnapper. I won't give too much detail about the room to not give spoilers. If you choose to do this room I would recommend doing less than 6 as the room was snug. If I have an escape room event I'm definitely coming back!

This was my third escape room but my first time at Breakout. I was surprised by the number of rooms that they have, 5 I believe, because the place appears to be small. I was a little worried about having a smaller group but it worked out just fine. It's your typical escape room with locks, passcodes, clues and puzzles. One difference with this place is they give you unlimited clues while other places limit you to 3. Our person, game master? Leader? I forgot what they are called.. was super cool. Nicholas was kind, patient and helpful. It took us a while to get some clues but we ended up escaping with 11 seconds left! I had a lot of fun and felt accomplished afterwards. I totally want to go back and try out the other rooms... one of which you're temporarily blindfolded and handcuffed during.

For a team building outing, this event was interesting. We weren't sure what to expect when our office manager booked this place, especially when we had to sign a waiver. We arrived at the designated time to find the venue closed due to a power outage. We emailed the manager, let her know that the lights had been back on, and she said she'd come back to let us in. We all went to Starbucks for coffee while we waited for the manager to arrive. I will say, we thought our reservations would be a bust that day, so I was impressed that they honored our slot and resolved the problem. Our moderator, Monica, gave us instructions and led us down the narrow hallway. A little trepidatious, we were lined up... blind folded and brought into a small room where we were handcuffed. Yep, a bit eerie... (the handcuffs were attached to a cot by a magnet) but still nerve wracking. Our room was dubbed "kidnapped". There were seven of us in this tiny, dark room and once we took off our blindfolds, and found the key to unlock ourselves, we went about trying to escape! The initial clue was pretty easy. Some of the other clues were more challenging. As a group, there's no limit to the help you can ask for from the moderator. I will say that I doubt anyone would be able to escape without help. Some of the clues and riddles were not just challenging, they were convoluted and made little sense. A couple in our group had been to escape rooms before, so that was a bonus. Several of the flashlights we were given didn't work, so sometimes we were quite literally left in the dark. The whole thing was creepy to me, and although I appreciated the concept, I wasn't thrilled with the execution. We "escaped" with some time to spare, being spoon fed, but I was glad to be out of there. Supposedly, the other rooms, like the Museum Heist and the Casino are less disturbing. I don't suggest this experience if you suffer from claustrophobia, although technically you can exit at any time during the "game". I enjoyed being with my workmates, but the event itself wasn't my cup of tea. We were given coupons to return, and I may give this trendy adventure spot another chance to see if the next scenario is better than my first.

Great staff and great fun. I was invited by one of my friends who was an Elite Yelper. Had a ball.

Did an escape room here (museum heist) and it was AWESOME!! We solved the puzzle in the nick of time

This place is COOL! Approaching the building, it doesn't look like a whole lot, and I had no idea what to expect- it's in an area where if you blink, ya miss it, sort of thing. My group and I chose to do the Museum Heist room, apparently one of the most difficult of the bunch. WOW, color me impressed! I felt like I was truly IN the story with the amazing detail put forth by the Breakout Games crew. You are allowed hints in these games- there's a camera in each room of the puzzle (so cool that there are multiple rooms in one game!) and mics everywhere, so all you have to do is call out to your game master and they'll point you in the right direction without giving away too much. This was an amazing experience and I can't wait to experience more of their rooms! ‍

The escape room didn't work for some parts. Our blue light did not work and some locks wouldn't open. Overall very fun experience!

It's located in the mall so plenty of parking. The staff helping with set up and intros were nice an made things easy. For this room we started handcuffed so it took a little longer than normal to get set up. No spoilers obviously but these rooms were very intricate. We needed a lot of nudges and some extra help but we luckily got out. Lots of interesting puzzles and locks here. We were very big fans and would love to try the rest of the rooms!

My husband and I did the Dr. Ensaine and the Bank Heist escape rooms. We did Dr. Ensaine first, which is level medium for difficulty. This one we thought was harder, especially since some of the writing on the objects was pretty worn down so it was hard to read it. I also wasn't sure how you were supposed to connect a couple things without a hint or nudge. This was has a creepy undertone to it but nothing pops out or no one comes out at you, which I was waiting for so that also through me off. The location of this escape room is also in the middle of the others so you could hear other people well which was distracting. We were able to finish even though our 60 mins was up and we finished 3 mins over. Princess was our game host for this one. We came back the next day to do the Bank Heist which was rated 2nd hardest escape room they had. My husband and I loved this one a lot more and we actually made it out with 8 min 47 sec left to spare! This one was more up our alley I think with the types of puzzles and def wasn't scary at all. They used all different types of challenges that we hadn't seen before in other escape rooms. We definitely loved the Bank Heist more, but both were good overall! We had a couple different game hosts here. For 2 people it was $37.50 per person, for 3 or more it's $32 per person. Each room is private so you don't have to share with strangers. You get 3 hints per room but unlimited nudges. It was a lot of fun!

Katie (one of the owners) and I played a 1 vs 1 shootout game (because my father would've been motion sick) and it was a total blast. The prices were incredibly affordable and worth every penny. The game itself didn't feel like a VR game; it felt real and personalized. If I could go there every day, I would. Everyone was nice and warmly welcoming, and I hope to see this business stay open as it deserves to. If you are looking for a place to have the time of your life and you are in the area, I would 100% recommend this place!!!

The first time we came it was on time and we loved the Dragon Tower escape room: it was the perfect mix of puzzle and action. This time we showed up 10 minutes early and they said they were running 5-10 minutes behind because of "cleaning issues". Well it turned into 20 minutes late so thankfully we already canceled our dinner reservations. I think it would've been fine if it wasn't $250 for a family of five for 38 minutes and the ninja trials escape room was not as exciting or interesting as dragon tower. Also one of the equipment pieces we were given was faulty so that made it less fun for one of us.
