These are the nicest folks to deal with and we've built our own house - a lot of which came from Castle Rock Building supply. The quality of the lumber compared to the big box stores is far superior, and usually at a better price. We've ordered custom milled maple for the window trim and countertops, custom windows, endless supplies of 2X lumber, plywood, flooring, Trex & cedar decking, fence posts etc. and always received the order on time and with a smile. If we aren't able to drive in and pick up the order, they are happy to bring it to us. GREAT SERVICE. We always shop here first before going anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

I just left the Castle Rock building supply store hoping they'd have some Topsoil because Four Corners was out. The lady laughed at me and said oh no we don't carry garden stuff. It just rubbed me the wrong way how she said it and snickered. On my way in, I looked at some Garden tools they had out front. I ask her about those and she said all those are for concrete. I thought to myself okay whatever, they look like garden tools to me. I proceeded to look around a little bit to see if there was anything I needed since I am repairing a fence. I could have possibly bought something and I did want to go look at their Lumber so I decided to give her one more chance. I walk towards the front door and waited for her to say thank you for coming in or sorry we couldn't help or have a nice day. Nope nothing. So needless to say they won't be getting my business. It's unfortunate and I'm assuming that they're struggling just like any other business is with the pandemic. So all I have to say is GOOD LUCK lady and I won't be back. I am a handy person and have lots of projects but I would rather go to Home Depot or Lowes. I could go on and tell you how she spoke to the next customer but I need to get back to my fence. I will say it wasn't professional either.

Idk) of their plants are neonictoid free (pollinator friendly and better for people to handle/the earth etc). Knowledge and very helpful staff! I never leave empty handed. Things are arranged by plant type and my only suggestion would be larger more colorful/noticeable signs for these sections. Theres ample parking, wagons to use, bulk and bagged products (mulch rocks etc), yard art, lots of trees/shrubs, bonsai stuff, pond stuff, and more! Lots to see. And a clean, easily accessible restroom!

And by apolitical I mean he's not a Trump supporter, which makes it uncommonly pleasant to shop there. He and his wife Laura are pillars of the community and a fantastic resource about all things Mossyrock, and in fact they maintain a flyer with local numbers of various businesses of especial use to new residents. When I first moved here I don't know what I would've done without both the store and their list, and I shop there to this day, even when I could save a few pennies online. They hire fantastic employees who know what they're doing too. Best possible customer service. And if they don't have it in the store (though believe me it's downright amazing the breadth of inventory they have for such a small town) they can order anything you need quickly. Price tag was too small to see the price and sku clearly. At the register it rang up higher. On inquiring about it , turns out to be a different shu. Same mix, same weight. But higher price. Only choice on the shelf. Seemed like a bait and switch to me. A little under-handed. Didn't appreciate it. ​This place has always been extremely high anyway. I have been a loyal customer of Woodland True Value for 20 years, I figured it's about time a let…read morepeople know what they have meant to me. Service is a little more important to me than it might be for most folks. I am somewhat disabled and my inability to stand for more than a minute or so makes it hard for me to shop for the things I think I need. (I seldom buy anything I don't have three of at home) When I come into the store there is a bench for me to sit on and wait for help. Even though I run the guys around sometimes the never become impatient with me or act as if I am inconveniencing them at all, even when I know I am. But that only tells half of the story. When I am home and discover a need for a product they might have, I find myself smiling because I know that I am about to be in the company of people who make me feel like family. Thier warm and welcoming response to my arrival brightens my day. As I read the other reviews, I see that I am not the only person who truly appreciates these guys. I gave Chelsea the tiny pieces of paint that we cut out of the wall to match (& these weren't your average colors of paint, these were some hard colors to match one being a dark blueish grayish..) & she did a phenomenal job!
