My Air was working fine. I called them for a yearly maintenance checkup and they found I had a small leak. I paid them $290 to find the leak. The Tech told me (on camera) that he found the leak and thinks he made it worse because he grabbed it and heard it hissing. Now after the Tech left, I have NO AIR!! ZERO! They proceeded to talk to me like I was a child and told me it was already broken before they came even though I have digital thermostats that prove otherwise. $500 just gone! I've never been spoken to so rudely on the phone. I mean Jason the so-called manager is really unprofessional and a dick. I can't believe the things he said and wished I had recorded that phone call. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! They come, break things then send you a $3,000 bill knowing you'll be desperate. I'm getting someone else to do the work! I'll never use them again. Unbelievable and they've been really good an solid up to this point. But to break my unit completely and not try to work with me to fix it or at least come out and figure it out and put all the blame on me... what the heck. read more

The first service was done a month back and was told that the Coils needs to be replaced and will be done in a weeks time, actual repair took 1 month and second service tech did not acknowledge the original commitment, very unethical . Highly disappointed with the service and Behavior of the service techs. Also lied on the amount they charged for the GAS they filled, first service tech it would be 2 - 3 Lbs and during the second service they added 8 Lbs without informing and changed 720, did not took any prior approval before adding the GAS. Not using this in future, will ask for refund for my annual maintenance fee, would cancel my contract. read more

The quote was provided in a very timely manner and all the questions that I had were answered promptly. They even agreed to work around our schedule and come later in the afternoon to do the work. The electrician did a fantastic job. It was not a simple job as the plug had to go on the side of the house opposite of where the breaker panel was located. Called for air balancing after new build, they came as promised but didn't balance anything. The tech shoots his temperature gun at the vent and says air temp was the same in all rooms. He was wrong !! 1 room is 70* , 2nd room is 76-80*, 3rd room is 76-80*. Called and asked for a rebalance and was told they we would be charged for a 2nd balance, i explained "to no avail " that nothing was done at first visit! They were able to come out next day & got right to work diagnosing the problem. It ended up being a bad GFI & some weird wiring. I'll start by saying Breeze is not the cheapest - but they were clearly the most knowledgeable we found when looking for an electrician to install 240V outlets for our electric car charger. Randy was quick to respond and easy to schedule with and they came to our house not even 24 hours later. Stephen and his apprentice did a great job with our outlets. They are clean and work well. I had someone come out to give us a quote to run a new line to our stovetop. Charged us $89 for the service fee. Then they were going to come out a few days later to do the job. Never told me what time they were coming. I finally got someone to answer the phone around lunch time and they said they'd be out to my house between 1-4. I called again at 5, they said they'd be there in about half an hour. I got a call at 6pm that they weren't coming and couldn't come for another FOUR DAYS!!! The lack of communication and respect for my time was appalling. I stayed at home literally all day waiting for no reason. I hired a different company who came the next morning and charged me $200 less than Breeze Air & Heat quoted me. So it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that they didn't do the service. My advice - Get a second quote if these guys give you one. read more

I'm a new homeowner whose Air conditioning unit falls under warranty with Breeze. It was recently serviced by them on September 14, 2021. All that needed to get repaired was the heat coils. The first technician that came was here for 5 hrs. Didn't even fix the issue. He did something because I heard him working and he kept coming in and out of my attic. They then scheduled me for another appointment on the 21st to continue fixing my heating issue. On the 15th my AC was not working, my house was 80, 82 degrees. We suffered for a whole week. We heard a rattling noise coming from the units in our attic. The 2nd technician came on the 21st to fix whatever the other guy messed up and still didn't fix the initial issue. Then I never heard from them again. A week and a half later I get my electrical bill for $800!!!!!!!! After creating a smart meter Texas account I can see when my usage changed from 2,000 kqwts a months to over 7,000. It shows a spike of usage on the 14th. It's showing I'm using about 300 a day!!!! I've called Breeze and they aren't owning up to their mistakes. They stated that I have a faulty unit and I have no proof that it was their fault. This is funny because the "faulty unit" is under their warranty so I don't understand how it's not their issue!!! When I called today 22 days later I was I told oh your repair piece just came in we can send someone over today! I said it took me to call for them to all of a sudden have the heating piece that's been needing repair and I said no to them coming. I don't want them to touch my AC unit ever again!!! This is not ok and they need to stand by what they did wrong and do right! I don't recommend this company at all. read more

A technician, Raul, showed up and did his magic. Raul was pleasant, easygoing and responsive which made the process very comfortable. I had several contractors out to my house (A Three story condo, with Two Different Systems, and *no* attic space.) to provide bids for all new HVAC systems; *All* of them said things like, "Oh this is bad." -- "Whew! Who did this to your HVAC?-- This is Gonna be a hard job." -Head shaking- When Terry from Breeze showed up, he asked to see the systems, looked through things, crawled up into the A/C Cabinets; I'm not sure if it's the fact he's been doing this for approximately thirty years, but his customer service was top notch. The first thing he did after he looked things over was to ask, "The system(s) seem to be cooling fine, why are you wanting to change things out?" I explained to him that since I bought this place new 12 years ago, the 3rd floor was always hot. Hot in the winter, hot in the summer, my bills have always been about double that of my neighbors, AND it's miserable upstairs. --He wrote on his note pad, nodded. After a bit more exploring, he explained to me what he saw as the "opportunities" we had with my current set up, and what would need to be done. Honestly the best part was when he said, "We won't know exactly what we are up against until we get the old system out, but don't worry unconventional systems are our specialty. We will do a proper installation and you'll be comfortable and happy." I set the install appointment as soon as they sent over their estimate. Breeze Mech. coordinated everything flawlessly. All the supplies they'd need were unloaded into the garage. They scheduled the crane that had to be rented to remove the old units from the roof, and also used deliver the new units that were being installed. While the first floor system was swapped in a matter of hours, it took them two days to get the main system online -- They discovered they needed add'l supplies once they got the old system removed-- so it turned into a multi-day install. On Day two their crew stayed several hours later than that should have, all to ensure that our family didn't have to endure a second night without AC. (We ordered in Lunch and Dinner for the crew -- as well as made runs to the store to get them Gatorades etc. It's not like you have new AC installed everyday. Honestly there would have been nothing wrong with them calling it a day and leaving at 7pm, but they stuck it out and had us cool and comfortable...and we very much appreciated their staying!) I don't write many reviews on Yelp, but the guys from Breeze Mechanical were great; Well worth the investment! I had a light on my patio entryway that was blowing out bulbs and then just wouldn't turn on. I scheduled an appointment for 8am Monday. Stephen showed up about 15 minutes early and immediately went to work. He noticed we had faulty wiring and the light fixture itself was also broken. He replaced the wiring for a fair price and completed the job in about 40 minutes. We will definitely call Breeze again if we need any more work done! read more

I am only giving the one star because there is nothing lower. Requested a furnace system winter check. The original plan was a vent/duct cleaning which was done by ServPro and to be honest was recommended by Breeze. Two days later after the duct cleaning Breeze came out for the service call, system check. Technician arrived on time during the early part of the appointment window and went to town. I advised that the Master BR felt a little warmer than the rest of the house. Advised that he would adjust he damper for that duct and seems to work. Approximately an hour later he advised he was complete and charged credit card, left property. The temperature was fairly comfortable and the technician didn't give me any reason to suspect anything was amiss. Approximately two hours later I went to adjust the thermostat for the low 30's forecast overnight temperature. I went to the display panel and the display was blank. I had my neighbor check the GFCI breaker in the garage, thinking technician might have tripped the breaker to turn the system off for part of the system check to not get electrocuted. GFCI was normal. With no other systems involved and no other GFCI breakers tripped I started thinking...maybe there is a master switch on the Furnace itself. I called them and no reply. I checked my clock saw it was around 5:10PM.......this is important because they advertise they close at 5:00. I checked the website looking for remarks about after hours/24 hour service and NOTHING......! Seeing no remarks about after hours service and temporarily confined to wheelchair left me unable to access crawl space to check the switch. At this point my main goal was to get the heat back on and deal with Breeze later. I had to call another vendor.......(one which DID advertise after hours service!) Second company came out immediately and from time of their call to leave V/M for after hours technician and job completion was less than one hour. Technician from second company confirmed what I suspected and turned the master switch ON. The following day I called Breeze and left message for the manager. He called me back about two hours later and things went sideways pretty quickly. I explained the situation and asked for a simple refund since in my opinion the service wasn't performed correctly and required another company to follow up. He immediately went on the defensive and asked if I left a message for the after hours technician. I explained NO.....because the website DID NOT advertise after hours service. He kept trying to repeatedly ask the same question but I said NO and explained the same logic. At that point my goal was getting heat back in the house. He then asked if the technician performed the service........That is where you need to be careful in the answer for this and any type of service. The answer is and always should be NO! They did not ops check the system and check the most basic setting. Which was master switch back on....especially with todays attic mounted furnace units. A first year HVAC school graduate would or should know that the ops check would be from the display unit/thermostat in a location accessible to the home owners/occupants. Since the MASTER switch was not turned on, that kept the thermostat/display BLANK. Simple basic troubleshooting that doesn't even require a fancy HVAC repair school degree let alone a supposed professional. Went back and forth a few times and I gave multiple opportunities for Breeze to correct themselves and say, sorry Mr. Cannon we apologize, we will update the website to reflect after hours service and will issue a refund. They got stupid and wouldn't admit simple responsibility for what should have been simple. Had the website or after hours number indicated 24 hour service I would have gladly left message and waited for a call back. Going one step further if I was able to access the attic I probably would have gone up with a flashlight, found the switch, turned to ON and been done with it. Breeze totally escalated a situation that they did not need to and could have just listened, provided a refund and moved on. They went on the defensive and did not provide basic customer communication (no advertisement of after hours service). I had other parties check the website and they could not find anything about after hours service. That is a basic common sense item and if they want to remain competitive in todays market that should be one of the highlights for their advertising. Their negligence caused not only aggravated blood pressure, required a second company to come out and correct but waste of resources. This incident also required a chargeback to my credit card and now they are accepting this review as it is written. Almost three weeks and no communication from their customer service team to still attempt to repair damage. They no longer have the privilege of future service needs. read more

I've called them multiple times for electrical work at my rentals and been happy with final results, although sometimes it takes multiple calls on different days to get a scheduled appointment. The first time I called them was after a deep freeze. My tenant's heating was out, but there was no power to the circuit after I flipped the circuit multiple times. They came out within minutes in the bitter cold and determined I just hadn't flipped the breaker forcefully enough to reset it. Later I had them look at some prior major electrical work (panel replacement by a competing contractor) on a different unit that I thought looked sloppy and was causing a heating circuit to repeatedly flip, and they advised me it was not code compliant and fixed it for a reasonable cost. I appreciated the time they put into educating me on electrical codes. They initially didn't have a needed part, so their electrical guy disabled one of my heating elements to make sure that the breaker wouldn't flip (taking out all the heat) before they could return. I appreciated the extra effort to keep the heat on in the meantime. On another occasion, they put in a 220V outlet for a previously hardwired stove; again, at a reasonable cost. I tried to use Breeze for a furnace and ac compressor replacement but after doing a lot of research I had determined that I wanted to install a Mr. Cool universal heat pump system due to the right combo of cost and efficiency, and Breeze was only willing to install their choice of A/C brand (which was lower SEER rating for the cost); so I went with a more flexible A/C contractor who I will probably continue to use for servicing and heat pump installs in other units. I would definitely use Breeze again for electric work though. read more

Last summer I came to the conclusion I was going to have to get a new air conditioner for my house if it was ever going to be cool again. My house was built in the early 50's and not sure when any of it was replaced or worked on so I called Breeze Mechanical and Jason came and suggested what I needed. We even agreed to a new heating system. The work was completed in two days and it is always comfortable in my house. I have people come in in the summer and ask what I have my thermostat set on and I tell them and they say its not that cool in my house with it set on that... Jason is very knowledgeable about the size of the house needing which unit and has experienced crews doing the jobs as efficient as possible. Since them I have suggested to my boss that we have Breeze Mechanical take care of all of the units at my place of employment and they do.We have a service agreement with them and when we call they are always there that day to do what is needed. read more

Since moving into my house I've had several issues with my AC. I bought my house 2 years ago and the house was just built. When we moved in the upstairs unit stopped cooling the first week! So we called the builder and the installing AC contractor. After numerous service calls and angry phone calls we were given this companies info. What a difference. They came out and did a complete investigation of both systems. The findings were the installing contractors never checked the static pressure and adjusted the blower speeds. Which means we never had the correct freon in our system. What a difference this has made! Seriously it took them less then an hour on the fix and the humidity and comfort level is awesome.
