Perfect beach-casual breakfast spot to fuel up before a day in the sun. Waffles are made-to-order, with sprinkles or chocolate chips inside and out, or for a more traditional taste, covered in strawberries and Nutella. Whatever your taste, the waffles are light a fluffy inside, with the classic Belgian crisp form. The breakfast sandwiches come with an option of bacon or sausage, with a thick egg scramble and cheese on croissant, bagel or English muffin. The coffee and espresso are tasty, and they have hot cocoa for the kids. Friendly service, and nice outdoor covered dining make this spot a great choice for a cool breezy morning in Pismo. Next time I'm in town, we'll definitely come try more of the menu.

We loved this little place in Pismo. We found it through yelp and really wanted some cool ice cream. We went in and don't be alarmed if you don't see the ice cream out and about (we were expecting that). The ice cream specials are on the menu so just look there. They were super nice to us and there was a cute patio we sat in to continue watching the car show taking place outside. Would come back!

This is a cute little casual cafe with a nice seating area outdoors. I had the smoked salmon toast and it was pretty tasty. The biggest drawback is that there is no restroom, even for paying customers. I asked, and was told that we would have to go down and use the public restrooms at the pier. This seems a little odd to me, as they serve food and drink. Also, it is quite breezy hence the name so prepare accordingly :)

Cute little coffee shop. I got a latte with vanilla and caramel, it was good. My daughter got a slice of their peach cobbler, she loved it. I liked it, i thought it was a bit chewy instead of crispy. I did love that they had tables right outside and they're right next door to Pismo Beach Hotel.

What a fun stop for breakfast. A+ rating for the selection of waffles. Limited seating both indoors and a beautiful outdoor seating area that is pet friendly. The service was top notch. If you are a tourist looking for an adventure I recommend parking down at Grover Beach. You can walk the Beach to Pismo (25 minutes) the stop at Breezeway in Pismo for breakfast and then walk back. You can either walk on the beach or the boardwalk. If you don't feel up to a walk you can park right by the cafe although be aware it can get busy during heavy traffic times.

I went to Breezeway Cafe this morning for breakfast I always thought they just served coffee, but turns out they have a ton of delicious breakfast options. Everything on the menu looked so good, but I went with the small biscuits & gravy, a half waffle, and the half churro waffle. The biscuits & gravy were a win! I'm usually picky about them, but the gravy was flavorful with little chunks of sausage (I think ) and the biscuit was spot on. My regular waffle with powdered sugar was fluffy and perfect-- not too crispy, not too soft, just right. The churro waffle stole the show though... cinnamon, sweet cream, and a glaze that was chef's kiss. I will definitely eat here again.

This is cute breakfast spot in Pismo Beach. I had the breakfast burrito with grilled chicken and avacado and it was delicious . The latte was also very good. My only complaint is that there was no restroom and only about 6 tables inside and outside.

Save your money! Pretty bad for what you're paying for! Got a bowl with tatter tots and was just slop on the plate, didn't even wanna finish it. Good vanilla latte though!

One of the best breakfast spots around! We've been to Breezeway Café a handful of times now, and it's always solid. The food is great, the menu has plenty to choose from, and the staff has been consistently polite every time we've visited. Not only do they have a great breakfast selection, but also fancy coffees and a variety of ice cream! We love sitting outside, even when it's chilly. I mean, come on, it's Pismo!! We don't mind, we love it. Plus, it's tucked just off the main street, so it's a little more peaceful and away from all the foot traffic. Definitely worth a stop.

One of the best breakfast spot! Very quick and personal service! They have sitting arrangement outside which is like cherry to cake!!

Staff were super friendly and our food was delicious. The breakfast sandwich is $7.95 which in my opinion is pretty cheap, and it was tasty. We were all satisfied with our meals. However, they skimped out on the drinks... a third of it was whipped cream before even taking a sip. The outdoor seating is pretty spacious and next to the Pismo Beach Hotel. They don't have public restrooms but the Pismo Beach pier is a short couple minutes walk away.

Small cafe with outdoor seating. Staff were super nice. Lox avocado toast was good. Lots of avocado and smoked salmon. I also grabbed a peach cobbler from the fridge and they offered to warm it up for me with ice cream, so we ended up having dessert for breakfast, which was awesome. My friend got the southwest burrito and it looked pretty good. Pretty large portion.

The bubble waffles were yummy and such a fun treat for the kids at the end of our trip to Pismo Beach. The staff was friendly. The prices for breakfast were great. And the outdoor seating tucked away from the wind was just perfect. Nothing to complain about here. I'd love to come back next time we visit. read more

Short walking distance from Pismo Beach & pier. Order at the counter & they bring the food out to you when it's ready. Friendly staff. It's a wonderful place for a nice cup of coffee, breakfast with your yourself or someone special. Kid friendly menus and seating outside was spacious and comforting. I'm all about the breakfast burrito. I'm picky too. The eggs must be a perfect soft scramble. The breezeway cafe is now my go to for a breakfast burrito! It's not even what they are known for, so I imagine the waffles are good since that's what everyone else orders. But if you're like me and you want to eat eggs and bacon out of your hand via convenient tortilla wrapper, then wrap your leftovers in a napkin to be consumed later, than this is the place! read more

The place itself is pretty small so indoor seating is limited, however, they have more seating outside in the courtyard. It's really beautiful, lots of seats, shade, and flowers/plants. You just order your food, pay and they will bring your order to you. We ordered the breakfast bowl, kid's waffle with nutella, chicken and waffles, croissants sandwich, and veggie burrito. The tater tots were super crispy inside the burrito. I love that they have so many options to choose from. The service was fast too so you're in and out and can enjoy the rest of your time at the beach. The place is located near the pier so parking can be difficult especially if you're looking for free street parking. There is a paid parking lot a block away but it's small and fills up quickly. read more

Found this place quite by accident! And I'm so thankful we did! I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and my husband had the bacon and egg waffle. Both outstanding! We shared a biscuit and gravy, it's very hard to find good biscuits and gravy, theirs is amazing! This is a must try! We had a peanut butter coffee and the red eye coffee. Great coffee. They also have bubble waffle desserts, we were unfortunately to full to try. Staff was also amazing! read more

We spent the weekend in Pismo for my husband's birthday and we stopped here before heading back to the Bay and it did not disappoint! I'm not usually someone who leaves reviews but it's hard not to for this place because everything I ordered was amazing! We got coffees, waffles, a breakfast burrito and an açaí bowl and they were all delicious!! We'll definitely we back next time we're in Pismo! The food was good and the pricing was average for the area. Unfortunately, you can't order takeout unless your total was $60 or more, which is hard to achieve. The location was beautiful and it had a very peaceful ambiance, especially being so close to the boardwalk. The service was also very quick and friendly. Would return! Just hope they fix that order ahead problem soon :) read more

The lox avocado toast was super delicious! I was here during corgi beach weekend and all I have to say, I will be back next year for corgi beach weekend and looking forward to the lox avocado toast. Was there during my trip to Pizmo beach over Thanksgiving. Had lunch breakfast there with my wife and two daughters food was reasonable pricing was reasonable. Seating was ample because they have an outdoor patio they share I wouldn't dare again if I was thing. read more

Great little spot in the "breezeway" from the street to the back of the hotel. Lovely outdoor spot to sit outside in the courtyard, relatively protected from the elements. Food was well worth it - breakfast or lunch. Order at the counter and they bring it to you relatively quickly. Would go back! read more

Delicious breakfast/Brunch... Waffles are light and fluffy. The variety of waffles is amazing. Chicken and waffles were with tenders, not wings. Tenders flavorful and juicy. A step up from Tyson...lol. Breakfast burrito is yummmms. It was very filling. Tried one with sausage, and the sausage was very flavorful and had crispy potatoes and toasted tortilla. Perfect!!! Friendly customer service. Definitely check them out! read more

We ordered our croissant sandwich (just 1) at 10:08am, it is now 10:48am and we just received our sandwich. The waffles definitely come out so much faster, as our friends with us ordered, received and already ate their waffle before we even got our sandwich. A lot of reviews said it was quick service, but it definitely was not. read more

I've been to Breezeway Cafe once, and the folks who run the place are sweethearts. My partner spilled his Americano, and they remade it for him, which they didn't have to do. Their portions are enormous. A side of bacon and biscuits with gravy will last you, or at least me, two meals. The Strawberry Dream was great, perfect amount of ice cream, strawberries, and breading. My only feedback is both the gravy and breading could use a little more salt, but I'm sure I could ask for that next time. I wish they weren't 300 miles away from where I live read more

Came here for take-out two days in a row because my daughter loved the Strawtella Waffle which was made perfectly. I ordered the Banella Waffle but was disappointed that Nutella was missing. The next day, I ordered a Banana Split and realized after leaving that there were no bananas included. Disappointed about that but the food was still delicious. read more

We were looking for breakfast at 11am. The only place still serving breakfast was Breezeway cafe. It's a small cozy little spot that I normally wouldn't think to even try but I'm so glad that I did! This will be my new favorite breakfast spot for sure! We pretty much tried one of everything on the menu! Highly recommended! They said if you tag them on IG they will repost you too, they didn't tho lol we tried the breezeway bowl with had biscuits and gravy the cheese is real!! The Americano is rich and so good even as black coffee. The lox avocado toast is very filling. My all time favorite was the breakfast burrito for sure! I have picky eaters in my family and they all finished their meals and couldn't stop saying how good it was! 5 stars! read more

First time having an actual breakfast in Pismo besides the ever so popular cinnamon rolls. Was walking by and smelled the aroma of freshly baked waffles so had to stop in and check it out. Great little spot employees were friendly and the food looked delicious there was a couple ordered the loaded berry waffle. It looked amazing the fruit looked ao colorful and fresh. We ordered coffee and waffles with a side of bacon to go. The food was great everything was perfect. Will definitely recommend and dome back again. read more

This place rocks! Get the southwest breakfast burrito. I guarantee you'll love it.... If you don't, there is something wrong with your taste buds. The homemade salsa that comes with it is among the best salsa I've ever had. It is large enough to feed two. The coffee and americano were also very good. I decided to get the Dominican mocha which was made with dark chocolate. It had a rich chocolatey flavor and I could still taste the espresso which is exactly how I like my mochas! For food, we tried their banana bread, strawberry oatmeal muffin, and the egg sausage cheese croissant. All of the food was warmed up and it was delicious! I would get everything again. Scorpion Bay has some leather chairs and a couch to sit at, a booth, and a few high top tables. There's also a table to sit at outside. The employees were all friendly and nice. We loved everything about our visit to Scorpion Bay and look forward to the next time we're in town so we can enjoy some delicious coffee and food!

It has orange blossom honey which adds the perfect amount of sweetness to it, and you can never go wrong with almond granola (it's my favorite). My husband got their Portuguese burrito, which he really enjoyed. We also ordered a white mocha and caramel latte, both of which had great flavor! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back on our next trip to Pismo.
