This place was so good. Our family of four left happy with full bellies. Service was very friendly. A nice way to wrap up our Spring Break. Chilaquiles were delish with a perfect spicy kick just as Chilaquiles should be. ( Not a fan when you order chilaquiles and no spice is added to them, that's always a let down), but these were perfect! We also tried the ricotta blueberrie pancakes, so good. Salmon bagel with hard boil eggs and greens was tasty and fresh. My kids loved their pancake kids plates. We would love to stop here again the next time we are in Pismo. The poached egg was a little over poached (not runny at all), but still good. We order our hash browns extra crispy and they came out perfect. My wife had the Golden Flame Chicken Sandwich and is was good, but not spicy at all. She was hoping for more spicy, so she added Cholula hot sauce to the chicken. After hearing good things about this place I was excited to try it out. I'm always up for a good breakfast house. Service is ok but the kitchen is slow getting orders out. Menu items are kind of pricey and lacked standard sides. I ordered an omelette and was told it does not included toast (really, a breakfast without toast?) I requested a side of wheat toast and was charged $8.00 for two slices... this was on top of the $18.00 omelette price. Probably not going to frequent this place. read more

We recently tried this place in the space of the former Persian restaurant for breakfast. The service was very sweet. The menu is varied. I had my go-to brekkie item, Huevos Rancheros. It was presented beautifully. The tortillas they use are hard. The components of the dish are layered one on top of the other. This makes it a little hard to cut and eat. The sauce appeared house made. It had a hint of smoke, probably from chipotles. It did lack some acid, but some salsa picosa helped. We will definitely return. read more

If you love chilaquiles I recommend you taste them here. This is one of the closest sauces to the one my mom makes at home. I usually always get green but these were very tasty. A little spice and good flavor crispy tortilla chips and a nice side of avocado. My bf got the chorizo Benedict big portion and good flavor. My only complaint overall with both dishes are eggs not fully cooked when I order over medium I can't have the egg white still runny and this was the case with both our eggs. Maybe to some it's not a big deal but it is for us. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We went early so it was pretty quiet when we arrived but it slowly started to get busy. Watch out Grover Beach! An absolutely delicious local Hispanic owned Brunch spot is here!! We got the sunrise crisp and the tiramisu French toast - 10/10 for both! The home fries with the chicken fried steak were perfectly seasoned and crispy The tiramisu butter was delicious and the bread was fluffy and soft On a side note.. the ambiance was welcoming with beautiful plants hanging from the walls and cute light fixtures It was pretty packed when we went around 1 pm - Expect a wait (about 30-40 min for us) but it's totally worth it! Pretty good! I like the ambiance a lot its a nice cozy place to go on a foggy day or any nice weekend. The only thing I would consider is if you have a low spice tolerance or any spice tolerance the chilaquiles are incredibly spicy. We had heard great things about this new restaurant in Grover Beach but frankly it was just average. Other reviewers have talked about beautiful presentation but there was nothing on ours. Out of four people one person thought his meal was excellent and would return. He had the chorizo eggs Benedict. I had an egg and biscuit sandwich which was tasty enough but no presentation and too much salty Canadian bacon. Just a sandwich on a white plate. The biscuit was toasted which I do not care for. One person had the tamale and it was again white food on a white plate. She ate half of it. One person had a Denver omelette and hash-browns. Just OK. To top it off the sound was obnoxious. The voices of the staff visiting at the front desk carried loudly. Plus they had a mixer going that drowned out all conversation in the restaurant for several minutes at a time. My partner came here on a late Saturday morning around 10am. There was no wait and the staff were attentive the moment we walked through the door. We were immediately sat and they took our drink order. My partner and I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and all American breakfast with fruit instead of bacon. We stopped by on the way home from Pismo Beach. We found HollyBelly which is a small restaurant in Grover City. I ordered the Chilaquiles with red sauce and over medium eggs. I usually rate a restaurant on how good their chilaquiles are and they passed my test. They were flavorful and with the right spicy kick to it. This bagel was smeared with a house made dill cream cheese, piled with smoked salmon, pickled onions and briny capers. On the side is arugula, sliced tomatoes, boiled egg, Avacado and an edible flower. I meant to only eat half- but it was too good to stop. Service was attentive and friendly. I will eat my way through this menu. I returned the next day and had the Huevos Rancheros. It was the best version of that dish I've ever had. Came here 2 days straight on our little staycation. We were very impressed with the selection and freshness. Everything tasted delicious. First day we got the lox bagel and chilaquiles, and both were 10/10. Service 10/10 the woman serving was so attentive and we felt cared for and that was enough for us to come back. Second day we ordered the lox bagel again and tiramisu French toast. Same woman serving us welcomed us back with great service again. Definitely recommend this little gem. The Holybelly omelette was a tightly wrapped gift exploding with flavor the second my fork cut into it. It wasn't just the aroma of my three favorite breakfast meats cooked up perfectly inside, but the mushrooms, onions, peppers and jalapeños with just enough cheese to hold it together that got me from the beginning. Those home potatoes tasted like you just cooked them just for me exactly how I like them: tender with a slight crunch. I ordered the biscuit and gravy separately to take home and try. Add that to my list of regrets in my life, because I wish I had enough room to have eaten those right away. I got home and tried a small piece of the most buttery, yet perfectly flaky biscuit I have ever eaten with a dab of your gravy that seemed like it was made from all the meat that was in the omelette. I don't know the recipe of how you made it, but I found something that I want to put on everything. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, add Holybelly gravy. Fresh spring salad with fruit? Add Holybelly gravy. It's the best gravy in the 5 cities and probably way beyond. I was impressed with the richness of all the flavors without any one part being overbearing over the others. I ordered a vegetarian omelette with country potatoes and a cup of coffee. The potatoes were barely warm and the coffee came in a tiny cup with little packaged creamers for $4.50. The omelette was fine, nothing special. No toast came with for $19. My husband got 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausages and one piece of toast. This was $16 and he didn't like the sausage but, the eggs were done perfectly. He got a glass of iced tea and it was $5! $9.50 for coffee and tea is ridiculous! I paid with a card for the food and a cash tip which wasn't disclosed there was a fee for the card. Very expensive for a so-so meal. I'm sorry but, I will not be going back.
