Line moves fast, order, get a buzzer, find a seat, food ready in 15 minutes. Model of efficiency!

After a long walk on the beach, we found ourselves sooooo hungry. Wooly's is located right by the pier. Arrived Saturday at 3pm, just in time for happy hour. The line was 6 people deep and went quickly. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwiche , wings, & garlic fries. Our buzzer buzzed about 15 minutes after ordering. Everything came out hot and delicious. Considering how busy it was they got our food out quickly. The place has seating, indoors and out. We were able to find seats indoors, away from the sun. They can definitely have more umbrellas out there. Inside was nice and cool with a bar and sports playing on the tv. I would recommend Wooly's for awesome beachside food.

If you are visiting Pismo Beach, put Wooly's on your list. The view is fantastic. The shrimp po' boy was perfectly prepared and hit the spot. Make sure you load up on sides because both the waffle fries and the onion rings are amazing--crispy, seasoned well, and addictive. Highly recommend!

    Cobb Salad was excellent!

Great views of Pismo Beach and great food !! Fish tacos were huge and delicious , 3 monster tacos loaded with fish, crunchy slaw and a tasty sauce. Cobb salad was spot on , chicken was warm and freshly grilled and tasty. I eat a lot of cobb salads and hate chilly pre cooked chicken that doesn't taste fresh. Woolys was awesome, we ended up coming back for breakfast burritos when we left town and they were really good also. Can't beat the views and the food is legit, well done !!

Decent burgers and tacos. Pretty much what you would expect from a place like this but it's done well. We enjoyed the meal and even though it was really busy, the food came out in good time and the tables were clean.

My family and I loved visiting Pismo Beach a few weeks ago and decided to stop again on the way home to check out Wooly's for lunch! It's a little beachfront restaurant that offers a little bit of everything! They offer burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads and plenty of seafood items like steamed clams, Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and Clam Chowder! We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Fries, Kids Quesadilla with Fries, Baja Fish Tacos and a side of Veggie Sticks (which were real veggies). Everything was really good - I loved my tacos. They were flavorful and fresh! Wooly's also offers great drinks as well with a giant bar inside! We really loved sitting outside on the patio - it had great views of the boardwalk and ocean! We couldn't have picked a better day to go too - the weather was beautiful! Wooly's is the type of place where you order at the counter and then they bring you your food - staff were still attentive and helpful even after we received our food. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS! Overall, it was a good meal with good views! I would absolutely come back the next time we are visiting Pismo Beach! Check them out!

While visiting the Pismo area on vacay. Some friends recommended Wooly's for some good lunch snackeroos. Fish tacos were highly recommended so I decided to give em a shot. Wifey went with the chicken nachos. Fish tacos were not bad. I prefer grilled over battered so personal preference. But the Nachos were fiya! Had to sacrifice my body and help the wifey with the nachos since it is way too much for one person . Outdoor seating is nice but can be a bit warm sometimes and don't feed the birds lol

At first we we're not gonna go to Wooly's because the line look like it was out the door. We went around 4 PM and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered at the cashier and the food was ready pretty quickly. We had been eating a lot of seafood so we went for the Carne Asada tacos and my husband got the carne asada burrito. He couldn't resist trying the clam chowder though. Everything was delicious. After our food, we decided to have a cocktail and sit on the patio. It's a very lively atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves and we enjoyed the food here.

It was definitely hard to beat the gorgeous view - easy sunset from seating on the deck! Ordering was easy, and the Cobb salad was everything it needed to be. I'm picky, but my substitutions were easy and they got my order correct. So glad we stopped in for dinner while in town!!

The food was great! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the Chilaquiles. At Woolley's you go to the counter and order your food and they bring it to you. As soon as we were done eating they came immediately to gather the dirty dishes and clean the table.

Great vibe and the crispy chicken sandwich was the best my daughter got that sorry no picture I got the chicken nachos they were very dry even with all the sides piled on top. But I was hungry I ate them.

Haven't been here in a while. It's been at least several years and we stopped going here because the quality of the food went down and the service was horrible. Tried it again today and loving the new counter service approach. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. I'll definitely be back.

We stopped in for dinner and the prices and food were good! Staff was friendly and helpful but the seating situation was like the Wild West...I love a pet friendly when the pets are...well...friendly? Beautiful location and I won't let the couple with absolutely no clue that if their dog bites them it is probably not safe around strangers ruin the review. Minus a star mainly because snarling and barking dog should have been asked to leave...

This is a great casual spot right on the beach in the center of Pismo Beach by the pier. My family enjoyed it so much during our stay that we went twice in 2 days! It's very casual, you order at the counter and then pickup your food when it's ready. You can order drinks at a separate counter and they have nice selection of beers on draft. We ordered a variety of items on both visits and everything was delicious. The stand outs were the Seafood Roll and the Fisherman sandwiches. Highly recommend for anyone swinging through Pismo, I would go back on my next visit.

    Is it pet friendly?

Yes! We go here with our Doberman. There is usually water bowls for the dogs and they even have a menu for the dogs.

Can someone post the gluten free menu? I took a picture of it a few months back and can't find it.

They changed the menu and the only gluten free things are the salads

Is it possible to order the fish tacos grilled rather than battered and fried?

    Yes

    Are there any veggie options?

Yes, kale salad, wedge salad, cauliflower appetizer.

The phone number does not work . Has it closed down?

    Open last week.

Does this place have heated outdoor setting?

No Heated as far as I Know- but we were seated indoors with a great view.

Are you open for outdoor seating?

    Yes.

Can someone confirm Wooly's seating hours? I work in fire and we finish shift around dark. I'd made reservations at Oyster Loft a while ago and realized upon seating that Wooly's was still open at almost 8 PM. Yelp says 11-6, site says 11-close?

Hi Tim. I'm a new Manager at Woolys/Oyster Loft (transferred from other location) and wanted to let you know that Woolys is open 11-8 (Sun-Thurs) and 11-9 (Fri/Sat). I'll be sure to get our listing updated with current, accurate information. We do…

Are you open on the 4th of july?

    Yes

Pets welcome on the patio during dining?

Oh yeah. They even have a half dozen doggie bowls for water.

We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

We decided to sit in the patio area since it was nice day, even though there was a little bit of construction noise next door, it didn't take away from hearing the great music selection. Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I'll be recommending friends/family to make a stop at Hoagies if they're ever in the area and they're looking for a chomp because a bite isn't enough. We both ordered the seafood platter for lunch, and chose the soup as the side (one clam chowder, one chicken tortilla). While the wait staff was very good and the wait time was typical for noontime, once the food arrived, the quality of the meal was quite substandard, especially for this area. I have never had such gristly fish, ever. I had to work hard to cut through it with a typical butter knife. It had no flavor and was unpleasant to chew. There was no flakiness to any of the four pieces. The shrimp was good, but I assume it was frozen. The cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce were both delicious, but it just wasn't enough to mask the texture of the fish. I then tried the chicken tortilla soup since the waiter recommended it. Instead of chicken meat, it has chicken skin. Gross. I will say the clam chowder was very good, and I regretted not ordering it. I'm sorry to say we won't be back unless just for a cup of chowder and a beer.
