Brekkie remains the benchmark for an amazing brunch. Anytime I'm close I find a reason to stop in. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. You order when you enter and find a table to enjoy a drink at while your foods being made. The owners are delightful and you can feel the passion they have for the business and their warmth towards customers Onto the food. 5+ stars. My kids love the pancakes. They are large and when you ask for chocolate chips...it's no joke. My wife love the veggie hash and they cook the eggs to her liking. I love the egg sandwiches. I've had them all and you can't go wrong. I personally love the way they cook Brussels sprouts and incorporate them into meals. I only wish there were more Brekkie shacks around town!

Brekkie Shack is a breakfast go to for me. They always have fresh avocado and the portions per price is very reasonable! We get it to go a lot but have eaten there before. It's cute and easy to order. I usually get the burrito which is very filling and stuffed with eggs. They use to have make your own burrito which I kind of miss but you can edit any dish. I got coastin burrito add sausage and came with gator tots all for $13. We got it delivered via Uber eats and it was still warm by the time we got it. As for the food it's almost for me. I always have to add a sauce or hot sauce to give it a little more flavor but for the most part the food is always good and consistent and I don't feel like a grease put after I eat it. It definitely leans more healthy which I like to start my day!!

Great options and good vibes! I loved the open air breeze they had coming in, and my summer veggie bowl was delicious. I think it could have used more variety of texture (maybe add avocado and/or pickled red onion, or other such things to keep it Vegan/GF that makes it feel fresher with all the oily crispy sprouts and greens? Wow, this review turned into a really specific recommendation no one asked for

Empty at 945 on a Monday. Heard a lot about this location, but a first time visitor. It is in the midst of a huge population of apartments and businesses . I'm sure that is good for Brekkie. I immediately noticed the cement floors were sticky. Hmm. Walked up to order and was greeted nicely. I ended up with their standard egg sandwich on brioche and a coffee. Hmm, the table tops are sticky too. Sandwich was not special at all, in fact it was over cooked. Or it had been lying around. I'm not sure. Coffee was lukewarm and they did rectify that. Maybe it was a bad day. Very welcoming decor.

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Was able to split the Caesar salad, in which the dressing was more mellow and less acidic than typical Caesar dressing, but was accompanied with a charred lemon wedge to add however much acid your heart desires! The crispy potatoes albeit fried were extremely light, and the aioli complements well the shaved cheese placed on top. Then came the burger, with the fries being extremely crispy and perfectly seasoned. The burger was very good as well, but I could do without the mushrooms added. It is a wet burger as well due to the mornay instead of a typical slice of cheese that just sticks to the burger. Most importantly, the cocktails are FANTASTIC as always. A seasonal menu always gets created, with the staples of course always available, typically using their own products within.

I had the Clockwork Orange cocktail that had coconut on the rim, with the Burrata starter. Perfection. I asked Derek about the Farmer's Salad and the Green Goddess Salad. One is more fruity and the other is green with peas. Both sounded delicious. I chose the Farmer's with added salmon. I'll get the Goddess next time. I added a glass of the House Red, which is a light Cab. I loved my meal and my visit. It's very pretty and the service was excellent. Can't wait to return. The downstairs was closed when we arrived (Monday evening). Both the downstairs and the upstairs are very spacious with the downstairs having a large bar too. We had a great staff supporting our event - kept our drinks and bellies full. For appetizers we had a beautiful charcuterie board with a great selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, olives, artichokes, hummus and Gluten Free crackers and crostinis that were delicious!! You wouldn't have even known they were gluten free. Also had bacon wrapped dates and baked feta bites. The bacon wrapped dates were so good! For dinner we had chicken piccata, mahi, veggies, strawberry spinach salad, scalloped potatoes and a spaghetti squash dish that was vegetarian and vegan. Very clear signs on allergies that is much appreciated! Dessert we had flourless chocolate cake, mini cheesecakes, and one of my favorites - buckeyes! The space we had was great - mingling area for appetizers, buffet of food in the center of the room that separated the appetizer area and the seated dinner part. Plenty of room. Having a few more high top tables would have been great in the mingling area as holding your beverage and enjoying appetizers can be tricky with no table. Believe we had 40-50 people. I didn't get to take any photos, but a great space for what we needed - lots of windows and lights upstairs as well.

While there were a few minor service issues, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated. After dinner, my cousin and I went to wash our hands and use the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls. When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated. Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave. A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, "I'm going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom," directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered. We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation. As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded "yes," which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered. We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin's birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary. I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.
