Rawr!!! Lion Cub's Cookies has been a welcome addition to the 212 (Grandview Heights to everyone else...)! Their specialty cookie creations are delicious and unique. Follow them online using one of the several popular social media platforms and you will learn about new and special limited time creations. It is not unknown to me to dart out of the house when I hear about something special they are cooking up, before they run out. I've actually had people tell me about particular cookies and made a late night grab & delivery to their apartment so we can both enjoy their creations! Yes, it's really THAT GOOD! Such a guilty pleasure - Lion Cub's is located on the main section of Grandview Avenue with parking nearby, and is a must visit if your in the area!

Lion Cub's Cookies is my favorite place to get cookies in all of Columbus! Their cookies are the absolute BEST! The cookies are always incredibly fresh, warmed, and perfectly cooked! The classic chocolate chip is my go to staple; it's exactly what you crave when you're looking for a classic cookie! My favorite special cookie is the puppy chow; it's seriously out of this world! Everything they have is seriously unreal & if you haven't tried them out yet, you need to!

Loin Cub Cookies in Grandview: The Sweet Tooth Savior You Didn't Know You Needed Take the Trip, your Next Adventure is waiting. Let me put it simply: Loin Cub Cookies in Grandview absolutely crushes Crumbl. And yes, I said it out loud with my whole chest. This tiny cookie haven may not have the nationwide hype machine that Crumbl has, but what it does have is heart, creativity, and the most delightfully addictive cookie flavors I've tasted in a long time. Loin Cub doesn't just make cookies--they make edible moods. First off, the Cub Cookies are genius. Think perfectly portioned, snack-sized bursts of joy. They're not gigantic sugar bombs that leave you in a coma--you can grab one (or five) and still feel like a functioning human. Perfect for that mid-day sweet craving or a little dessert after lunch without needing a nap immediately after. Now let's talk flavors. Wild. Inventive. Dangerous. We're talking things like: * Brown Butter Fruity Pebbles - nostalgia and sophistication in one bite * Lemon Poppyseed Blueberry - like a muffin and a cookie had a baby * Cinnamon Toast Crunch Explosion - crunchy, gooey, and gone in sixty seconds The menu rotates often, which just adds to the obsession. I find myself checking their Instagram like a cookie stalker to see what new madness they've cooked up. And somehow, every flavor hits. No filler flavors. No cookie left behind. Crumbl? Sorry, but their cookies sometimes feel like more style than substance. Half the time they're just warm sugar blobs with frosting that looks better than it tastes. But Loin Cub? They're artists. Cookie sculptors. Mad scientists of the sweet tooth world. Plus, the vibe in the shop is friendly, local, and laid-back--exactly the kind of place you want to support. So if you're in Grandview and haven't stopped by Loin Cub Cookies yet, what are you doing with your life? This isn't just a cookie shop--it's a lifestyle choice. Take the trip. Your sweet tooth will thank you.

I like that they are local, their pricing, and the size of the cookies! My favorite is the peanut butter chocolate! So good (and addictive)! Chocolate chip is a runner up. They release new flavors all the time and if you sign up for their rewards program, they have some perks time to time along with announcing the new flavors there first. I love supporting local first, so my go to for a cookie shop has been them.

We've been to lion cub cookies twice and they are GOOD!! Serial on outside but super gooey in the middle. The cinnamon roll is the absolute best and I would eat ten of them. The service is quick and easy the only complaint I have is that it cost over $10 for three cookies so it definitely a sweet treat.

I stopped in to Lion Cub's with some friends after dinner on Friday night. The smell of fresh cookies hits you as soon as the door opens and the cookies themselves are on display for you to see. The staff were friendly, it was most of the group's first time (including me). I ended up choosing a Puppy Chow cookie to go. It was delicious! And still warm about 10 minutes later when I started trying it.

Another great place to check out if you're around town. We got their chocolate chip, confetti, and the puppy chow cookies. All 4 were amazing, and the employees are super friendly. Be sure to check them out.

Absolutely delicious!!!! These cookies were so dense and full of flavor, without being too sweet or too much. They are served totally fresh and sooo tasty! They don't have a large selection of cookies, but they are all yummy! We got the strawberry shortcake and totally blown away!! The cookie was hard in the outside, but googey on the inside, and it had a whipped cream frosting so it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. The taste was amazingggg, we were drooling over this cookie. Our service was quick and the lady at the counter was so sweet. The entire shop just smelled so yummy! We definitely will be back to try more!!

The absolute best cookies I've ever had. Period. I've had a myriad of flavors from these nice folks and I can tell you that my favorite one thus far, has been... ALL OF THEM!! And again, we(lovely Mrs came along for the drive) drove three hours to pick up six for my birthday dinner. The folks running those store are so nice. Maddox helped me today and he was just so helpful and understanding as I asked him so many questions. Are the cookies; delicious? worth the drive? worth supporting local folks? Ummmm, absolutely. Go check out their website, join their club and get notifications on flavors of the week and let them know your birthday and they'll send you a coupon for a cookie when that comes up. Support local. :)

Warm melty chocolate chips. Omg good!! Just happened to be close and in the mood for yummy then this is the place to stop.

This is a great business model and the store is staffed by really friendly people. You can order cookie packs in various sizes online (1,4,6, etc) and they have a rotating weekly menu of flavors. I suggest scheduling cookie pickup for an off hour, as parking is really tough on Grandview Ave. As others have said, they have perfected the crispy outside and soft, gooey inside cookie. For my personal taste they were way too sweet, but I get what people love about them. I also thought all of the cookie flavors kind of tasted the same, except for the incredible chocolate peanut butter flavor. Tip: if you order online, you don't have to wait in line at the counter, just go straight to the register for pick up.

We could have ordered ahead (which I would recommend unless you are willing to wait 15-20 minutes) but I said I wanted to soak in the environment. Everything was in stock so it was a huge win for us. All of the food items are larger than most so be cautious when ordering. We got a little bit of everything since I wanted to truly sampler. They did offer a few samples. The two best items were the egg and bacon danish and the steak sandwich. The Danish had a nice peppery note and a flaky exterior which made it 10x better. The steak sandwich was jam packed and that bread I should have brought home a loaf. The team was so friendly. I explained that I'm still new to Ohio and have been wanting to try this place since I got here. They were so flattered they threw in a few cookies to try and gave restaurant recommendations. I can't wait to come back and try all the other items! Tip: Don't plan to eat there. It has one table that can sit 4 at the most.

Once you find the door, you'll enter a small retail space with a view of the large kitchen / bakery area. There's extremely limited seating (really just two tables / window seats), but the space is certainly bright, attractive, and inviting. (The restroom for customers is so well kept and clean by the way; kudos to the business for that). There's an array of sandwiches and pastries on display for sale, as well as bread and a coffee drink menu. The prices are extremely high: think $28 for a sandwich, $16 for a pastry. So, with that price, the bar is set very high. I ordered three pastries: Copia Egg & Bacon Danish, Sweet Cheese Danish, and Almond Twice Baked Croissant. The egg and bacon danish was truly excellent -- savory, a little sweet, herbal elements (rosemary etc) that was so unique. The almond croissant was good; I appreciated the almond filling and the size. The sweet cheese danish was a real miss. It was as hard as a rock, and the cream was a very thin layer. It tasted like something you could get at a lesser chain bakery or coffee shop, and definitely not worth the price. I also ordered the salty caramel iced latte, and it was really great. The size is a little small for the price (again!), but the quality is excellent. So, there were major hits, and a big miss. I'd go back to try a few other things, but only if I am really ready to splurge.

We ordered online since we wanted to pick up and get back on the road asap. They charge a 3% credit card convenience fee. Minus 3 stars (one for each % they charge) for that because it's a cost of doing business and they should have the costs of doing business built into the price of the menu items. Their online order form does not state that they only have certain menu items on the weekends. It's also very unclear whether when you order a coffee, it's a black coffee or you can have it made to order (no place to customize on their website). They use Toast which is a pretty lazy way of doing an online menu unless the business is willing to customize the menu to make it user friendly - this business did not. So we ordered a cinnamon roll only to be told at pickup that it's only available on weekends. When we asked for a refund, we were told we'd have to get it through Toast. No info on how to do that. No information about who to contact. Just an older lady with an indifferent attitude. Minus one star for that. The sandwiches were dry as a bone - the bottom of the biscuit was actually chewy from being overcooked. The eggs were definitely overcooked with a telltale gray ring around the yolk. We're disappointed and wish we had just stopped at Starbucks instead.

The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!
