Not the type of drink you see at other coffee shops around here. Classic! And the staff were really nice. Didn't seem rushed. Just very neighborly. Even brought my latte to me! We're traveling through and wanted to try a local spot. This caught our attention because it has high reviews and who doesn't love a biscuit? We ordered online since we wanted to pick up and get back on the road asap. They charge a 3% credit card convenience fee. Minus 3 stars (one for each % they charge) for that because it's a cost of doing business and they should have the costs of doing business built into the price of the menu items. Their online order form does not state that they only have certain menu items on the weekends. It's also very unclear whether when you order a coffee, it's a black coffee or you can have it made to order (no place to customize on their website). They use Toast which is a pretty lazy way of doing an online menu unless the business is willing to customize the menu to make it user friendly - this business did not. So we ordered a cinnamon roll only to be told at pickup that it's only available on weekends. When we asked for a refund, we were told we'd have to get it through Toast. No info on how to do that. No information about who to contact. Just an older lady with an indifferent attitude. Minus one star for that. The sandwiches were dry as a bone - the bottom of the biscuit was actually chewy from being overcooked. The eggs were definitely overcooked with a telltale gray ring around the yolk. We're disappointed and wish we had just stopped at Starbucks instead. read more

Such a cute little spot tucked away on Goodale. Have driven past it so many times and finally made my way today. They have a good sized food menu ranging from a feature sammich and quiche, but also have biscuits + gravy, hashbrowns, etc. I opted for the feature sammich (today was sausage, egg, goat cheese and berry compote). Before we get into food, I also wanted to call out the self service coffee bar that has a huge assortment of syrups, milk and alt milk options, and hot tea. All for the price of the coffee which is only $4. I got their featured biscuit sandwich which was sausage egg and cheddar on a cheddar biscuit. Delicious. Stopped by on a weekday morning before work to pick up a breakfast sandwich. While I was there I grabbed 3 mini biscuits to try too. The breakfast sandwich was good, but nothing I found special. The biscuit on the sandwich kinda tasted like one from chick fil a to be honest but cost $6.75. I wish they had different options for the biscuit flavor on the sandwiches. The mini biscuits are fun and there's lot of flavors, but for the price and very small size of them, I wish I got more for $4.25. They are one bite. Located just outside Grandview Heights, this place is very charming and has great service. Everything is made fresh. Biscuits were delicious and the sammy was satisfying. Small biscuit company that specializes in fresh made biscuits in different flavors and sizes. Parking is easy as they have private side lot that is pretty big. They sell Stauffs Coffee. While we were there they offered three types of biscuit sandwiches: Egg/cheese, egg/cheese/bacon, egg/cheese/sausage. We found staff to be very welcoming and friendly. They also do sandwiches on their specialty biscuits. Today they had jalepeno biscuit variety, so we had them make a jalepeno biscuit with egg/bacon. We also purchased a regular biscuit with egg/sausage. Both were great. The original biscuit held up better against then steam of the egg. Sausage had great flavor. The jalapeño biscuit was a tiny bit soggy. My guess is that was due to the fresh jalapeño in the biscuit. When it heats up it releases steam which changed the constancy of the biscuit, but still the biscuit had great flavor that lingered on the tastebuds For a small corner shop, it had lots of seating inside and out. What a nice addition to the Columbus culinary scene! We will be back!! read more

Basic is in the name, and that's the only thing they lived up to! Came here from a friends recommendation and had to disown them after visiting this place. I tried several biscuits, a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich, cold brew, and tea. All were absolutely disgusting. Breakfast sandwich was pre-made (soggy biscuit, overcooked sausage and egg, and tiny), flavored biscuits had no flavor lest a small coating on outsides, and the coffee/tea was self-serve.. Staufs (so hard to mess up), but just ok, but not a lot of customization for almost $6.. overall I think I spent $35 for 2 people and threw half of it away sadly. The space is cute for a grab and go breakfast, which is definitely what you're getting here as the sandwiches are premade/wrapped and under a heat lamp. Surprisingly, they do keep their integrity though the eggs are excruciatingly bland and opening the biscuit to salt/pepper/sauce it is very difficult. The biscuits are good, probably the best I've had in Columbus or very close to it. Ultimately, i won't be returning because the woman (whom I presume to be the owner after reading more reviews) was not, in fact, very kind in our interaction. This Woman-owned bakery offers biscuits of all shapes and sizes. Ranging from full on breakfast sandwiches to mini biscuits, all are packed with flavor and a lot have a fun twist. The lemon lavender was my favorite and I really enjoyed the cheddar jalapeno. I opted to get 12 little ones and even froze a few to last longer. Once thawed out they were as yummy as the day I picked them up. The space itself is a breath of fresh air. The theme is obviously bees and kindness, which can be seen in every nook and cranny of the bakery. They offer other locally made items and even have Stauf's coffee available. They have plenty of parking with a lot right next door and some street parking out front. It's hard to miss their neon biscuit sign so keep your eyes peeled for that once you get close. First tried this business thanks to Yelp and enjoyed it so much. This morning I woke up with a craving, threw on some clothes and out the door I went. They were out of my favorites (everything bagel and cheddar jalapeño) but got to try some new ones. I picked up a bakers dozen and headed home to surprise my partner for a fun little biscuit breakfast. I recommend microwaving for about 10 seconds, tear them open, and add a little butter (depending on the flavor). It is so worth the drive across downtown from Olde Towne East (10-12 mins away). They also have a frequent purchase card where you by 12 bakers dozens and get one on the house. I think that's it! I left my punch card in the car for the next trip. The Girl Scout flavor does not appear to be made from actual Girl Scouts, lol, but does taste mildly like a thin mint! Oh yes, and there is an ample free parking lot next to the building, which was very busy with patrons this morning!!! As of January 2022, this location has been operating in the Grandview Heights area for about a year and a half & the staff are right at home. Super friendly folks who, when I asked them for their recommendations on mini biscuits were not just full of offering suggestions but also helpful with conversation about what flavors and tastes that I enjoy. Brightly lit and charmingly decorated inside, with space to sit, for warmer months there is a patio in the front along Goodale Blvd, which facing south catches the sun all day! And the reviews did not disappoint. I ordered the biscuits, jalapeno cheddar, scallion cheddar, and the banana chocolate. All of them were great but the Jalapeno cheddar was definitely the best! I also ended up ordering a Quiche, and it did not disappoint. it was delicious. The only thing I regret was not getting everything double. I can't wait to go back. The food was great, the customer service was great. The person at register was very friendly and very patient with us, because we couldn't decided on what to order. I've been eyeing this super adorable store for a while now on Yelp and finally stopped over on the way home to try some biscuits! I ended up getting three savory and three sweet biscuits, so here are the highlights: The cheddar garlic and Asiago thyme were definitely favorites. The former had a good amount of flaky fluffiness from the cheddar and just enough garlic. The Asiago had lots of flavor packed into its mini biscuit existence and a good amount of spiciness. The lemon lavender also deserves a shoutout - if you're a fan of floral flavors, the lavender is very pronounced! If you've seen the pictures you may be thinking, "damn those biscuits are small." And they are. I was a little annoyed at first, but the price wasn't so bad. When you get to the middle of the biscuit it just dissolves in your mouth to form this gooey, salty cheesy delicious mixture I have no idea what to call. But you want it. Yes you do. Don't argue with me. The bacon, egg and cheese also delicious, but it's details are about the same as the special. Bacon nice thick cut plenty of flavor. Now, the cinnamon roll. No...THE MF CINNAMON ROLL! Easily top 3 I've ever had. The frosting was very sweet, but it's doesn't drench the roll so it's not overwhelming. The inside was nice and moist, tons of cinnamon coming through. I was told by the cashier they normally sell out by 930 and I know she wasn't lying. It's four hours later and I am STILL on my ass recovering from what seems like a small quick bite, but what actually was a delicious anvil that's still sitting in my stomach. read more

This is a cute little shop located on Goodale not far from the sports park. It has a very nice little outdoor patio area and a small seating area inside. My eyes, however, were immediately drawn to the glass case of goodies, as I was eager to discover what flavors of the day could be mine! Near the top were some amazing specialty options: flavors inspired by the big three Girl Scout Cookies! She went through all the savory options, then the sweet, and finally a combination of the two with in-depth descriptions. After my biscuit consultation, I ended up walking out of them with 16 biscuits. I must say that the tag-along, Samoas, cinnamon and sugar, vanilla bean, and bacon chocolate chip were my favorites. I was expecting a light, fluffy biscuit, but what I got when I bit into my first nugget of buttery confection was a dense texture reminiscent of that of a scone but not as hard. They always have a daily special on top of their regular biscuits and sandwiches. They have good coffee from crimson cup with multiple options for creamers. I added 3 more (because there were so many good sounding flavors I had to try) as well as the quiche of the day. Great energy as soon as you walk in... the staff was so friendly! For biscuits I tried buttermilk, cheddar garlic, cinnamon sugar, samoa, and one other I can't remember. I really loved them all, including the sweet ones since they still maintained a nice savory-ness and weren't overly sweet. The quiche was a spinach, garlic and cheddar and was so tasty.
