Stopped in here on my way to a work meeting from out of town. Modern fast casual decor. Very easy ordering at the counter. I ordered a kale caesar salad with chicken. Loved that it was all fresh and no dairy!! You couldn't even tell. The dressing was incredible. Good portion for the price.

Local creative casual restaurant with influence from Tai-Latin-American cuisine which gives this place its name. Transmutation of a thing into another in a wonderful and marvelous way. Among their options you may find several vegan dishes. My wonderful wife and our two daughters and sons were with us for the first time. We all had a great experience and enjoyed very much Chef Paulina and team their creations and service.

Cute little place hidden in Grandview Heights. Lots of vegan/veggie options with fresh ingredients. I had the kale caesar salad with chicken, it had a bit too much dressing for me so would ask for it on the side next time. Sweet potato fries & vegan ranch hit the spot!

How have I sat on this place for so long? I'm seriously kicking myself. I haven't been in years but I found myself craving a good salad one day and decided to try Alchemy again. They were offering delivery, it was within my budget, and they had several good options to choose from. I ordered the green goddess salad and got it vegetarian. To do that, they subbed out the chicken for avocado. Yum! The salad also had green apples, snap peas, delicious pickled onions, goat cheese, an interesting matcha granola, all tossed in a refreshing lemon vinaigrette. I legit ate every single bite. And I'm already itching to order it again. While I used to always come from the smoothies and bowls, I will now be coming for their house favorites and handheld items. Can't wait to try more... especially that salad.

Natural light with a fresh and vibrant menu that truly delights. My experience was nothing short of excellent, especially with their Cowboy Burrito with bacon--it was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! The sauce was perfectly balanced in every bite. The sweet potato fries with their dipping sauce, sweet and savory! Their matcha drinks are colorful but sweet, depending on your preference. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. I also appreciate their variety of vegetarian and vegan options, catering to all dietary preferences.

Such kind staff, quiet environment and very vibey. I could go a read and do work or have a lunch date kind of vibe. Lots of seating, high tops and benches. Food was delicious! I don't normally like sandwiches but this has to be one of my new faves

First time but won't be the last. Stopped in with my son today. It was busy but didn't feel crowded. We ordered and had food quickly. I had the Caesar salad- it was so good. They were running low on kale so it was mostly spring mix but it was still delicious. The roasted chickpeas really added a nice crunch. It's vegan- so to say it tastes a lot like typical Caesar salad, not really, but none the less it was great. My son had the chunky monkey bowl and loved it. He kept pushing it away because he was so full but then would go back for more! I've already picked out what I want to try for next time!

Back to Alchemy to try a new item on the menu (the farmers bowl), and I was beyond pleased, as usual. I thought this bowl would be better with feta instead of goat cheese, and they let me substitute-- thank you! Food was fresh, full of flavor, and filled me up. Highly recommend Alchemy, and I look forward to coming back here again soon!

Cowboy Burrito (with Portobello Bacon!) & hot sauce

Love hitting this place for brunch on a Sunday... They have a good menu with several options that sound good to this pescatarian. But early on I discovered their 'Cowboy Burrito' which I order with 'portobello bacon' instead of whatever meat comes as standard. Smoky, delicious, comforting and filling. I love it! The staff tend to be low-key but friendly and I've never had any issues with service. The place itself has a nice, clean, simple vibe inside with a few seats outside -which is where I like to sit weather permitting. Go check this place out and help keep a local business in business!

First time at Alchemy! I ordered for to go and the food came out pretty quick, while I was waiting another customer came and ordered avocado toast and she seemed so excited about it, it must be good! I may order it next time :D This time I got Cowboy Burrito, sweet potatoes fried and London Fog. Everything was awesome! The London Fog is a healthy bubble tea, came with oat milk and house jam. It's. So. Good. Cowboy burrito came with good size of egg, potatoes and bacon, it's big! I can't eat the whole thing by myself :D Too bad, I was so excited and ate everything so quick and forgot to get good pictures. Will definitely dine in next time for brunch! I also want to try the egg sandwich :)))

Sweet potato fries. Ask for the taztiki for dipping.

Amazing offerings- even the "To Go" case has greatness. It's small and charming. Completely worth the wait. All fresh. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Street parking.

    Pesto avocado toast (vegan)
    Matt B.

I ordered their pesto avocado toast ($5.50 after tax; vegan) online one morning. I arrived when requested, and, though the server knew I was there for pick-up, she decided she'd disappear to the back for 6-7 minutes to help another customer. I could see my avocado toast sitting in a take-out carton, getting soggy. When she returned, she ignored me and asked the next customer what she was here for rather than attend to my sitting order first. This is some pretty crappy customer service. When I finally got my order, I was dismayed to see only one piece of toast on what looked like grocery store bread. The (whole wheat) bread was fine and topped with a nicely constructed mix of mashed avocado, pesto, and hemp seeds. It was fine, though the bread needs to be improved, and given that it's toast, I expected it to be warm (maybe it was when I arrived, but not 10 minutes later). I could easily make better avocado toasted at home. All in all, my experience left something to be desired. Subpar service and average (at best) avocado toast. A generous 3 stars for the food, minus 1 for the service.

You order before you find a seat, and the host who took our order was so kind and down to earth. He gave us recommendations and affirmed our choices. I can't remember his name but, he was wearing a cast/sling so I hope he gets the appreciation he deserves. I ordered the Everyday Egg sandwich with bacon and substituted a biscuit in place of the brioche bun. I'm going to tell you right now - this was the best decision ever! I also ordered a single ricotta pancake, the breakfast potatoes the Country breakfast, and the iced strawberry matcha latte. The country breakfast and the everyday egg sandwich have the exact same presentation, I wish the country breakfast was presented with each item separately rather than stacked as a sandwich but it was still delicious. Just like on the Egg sandwich the eggs are the star, fluffy, cooked to perfection. The biscuits was golden brown and flaky and had a nice bite. It paired very nicely with the strawberry preserves. The ricotta pancake was a standout, fluffy and beautifully soft and lightly crispy on the edges. It is paired with fresh cut bananas. Everything was delicious. The only issues arose because the kitchen ran into an issue with their fryer preventing them from preparing the breakfast potatoes. It also caused a delay in them bringing out part of my meal. They jumped into action to apologize and they treated me to a chocolate chip cookie (delicious, warm and huge!) and a complimentary meal at my next visit. As I live out of town I chose to redeem this by ordering the simple salad to take home to which I added avocado. The salad was delicious, I loved the croutons and the light vinaigrette - the avocado added an enjoyable creaminess. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Columbus!
