This was our first time at Brenda's Café, and it happened to be my birthday! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was good, and we had such a nice time sitting outside. The atmosphere was so relaxing ! it truly felt like vacation mode. I ordered the avocado toast, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I asked for a side of feta to give it a little extra flavor, and it was the perfect addition. My fiancé ordered the chorizo omelet, which came with potatoes and toast. It had all the right flavors, and he also added a side of avocado, which paired perfectly with the meal. Our only suggestion would be to offer a crunchier bread option. I think my avocado toast would be even better on a toasted baguette or rustic artisan bread, and my fiancé agreed that he would have preferred his toast to be a little crispier. Overall, we loved both the food and the service. The staff were friendly, everything was fresh and flavorful, and the outdoor seating made for the perfect birthday breakfast. Stopped by the lovely Brenda's Cafe in Ocean City for a late breakfast. Wow! If you weren't staying in the Pavilion Hotel (or maybe the Forum across the street) you could easily miss it, and that would be a shame. It's literally part of the Pavilion at 8th and Atlantic, beach block. Hard to imagine a better location for foot traffic. There's a covered patio with AstroTurf that was perfect on the sunny, breezy Friday morning. Brenda's is billed as authentic Mexican cuisine and a neon sign out front reinforces "Breakfast." Therefore we settled on huevos rancheros and the breakfast tacos. Wow! again. Everything is cooked to order and was crazy fresh. I mean garden fresh. The onions were sweet and crunchy. The tomatoes were firm and juicy. The black beans were delicious. For both dishes the street taco sized tortillas were freshly grilled, crispy edges and delicate centers that didn't break despite being generously filled. We also got a side order of home fries that were kind of magical. No ads-ins, onions or pepper. No additional salt to be detected. Just small potatoes cut in halves and wedges, subtle, even seasoning throughout. Simple. Absolutely delicious. Our only regret was finding Brenda's on the last morning of our stay but we come down a couple times a summer and will absolutely put this on top rotation! Loved everything about our visit. I must have passed this place year after year but never noticed it before this past summer! We enjoyed a Sunday brunch seated outdoors under a canopy. It was a very hot morning but there was a lovely breeze coming off the ocean. Our meals were delicious! I had a breakfast burrito which was large and heavenly! The coffee was good, too. Service was amazing and food was so good. Went for breakfast and got the waffle which was perfect and simple and the quesadilla was so delicious and the sauces were perfect. They gave a homemade hot sauce and it was amazing. Def recc esp over augie's. read more

Great place for breakfast. I had the breakfast tacos, which were wonderful. Fluffy eggs, tasty bacon, and wonderful tortillas. My wife had a beautiful mushroom, bacon, and Swiss cheese omelet. Overall - a lovely way to start our Ocean City day! read more

Best breakfast in OC! I highly recommend the French toast with fruit. The ice coffee is perfect too!

We sat down at 10:45 a.m. (two people) and well it wasn't particularly busy at that time, we didn't get menus or see a server until after 11:00. We were given a lunch/dinner menu even though we had intended to get breakfast. No big deal; we ordered entrées. It then took another 10 minutes before our drinks came out, and 30 minutes from the time we ordered until our food was brought out. Meanwhile, a table next to us was seated and ordered, and based on their order, it was clear they had been given breakfast menus. The food was not bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. read more

The coffee has no natural coffee flavor, and it took 20 minutes to place an order. Unfortunately, the food was also quite disappointing

The food was ok we got a burrito with chicken and the how thing tasted microwaved it was warm when it came out to us and it took about 45 min the burger and onion rings were good and the only thing that was hot. Food was great beatiful place nice and clean but our waitres wasnt on top she forgot about us i have to went inside the restorant and ask for more drinks and my food came out incomplety manager was exlelent came over to fix her mistake and give us 10% off and make our experience way much better !!! read more
