It was absolutely packed with premium meats, fresh tomatoes, onions, and hot pepper relish on a fresh roll. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The portion was incredible--this wasn't a skimpy sandwich by any means. At $12 for a half sub, it felt like one of the best food values I've had in a long time. If you're visiting Atlantic City, White House Subs is a must. It's easy to see why they've been an institution for generations. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Five stars. "Spanky and Son" I googled it and it was directly across the street from the showroom on the little side street between The Cadillac dealership and the Chevrolet dealership. I walked over to this little hole in the wall place...told them how good the sub was that I just had and ordered one to take home with me. The very nice woman behind the counter told me how everything is made fresh and that they have been there for 45 years!!!! It was more like a deep fried omelet than your classic diner omelet. The Westines waffle was a little wimpy. Pretty thin and didn't seem fresh. It really reminded me of an eggo waffle but at a premium price. Seems like a beloved local spot and I'd be willing to come back but would get something else. I think this is a dessert place first, breakfast place second if you know what I mean. Classic breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon) seems more like the way to go here rather than omelet and waffle. Service was friendly but not very attentive.

Smoky flavor without the usual sweetness bacon tends to have.
