Absolutely do not go here!! I dropped off my watch January 30th for a quote to replace the stem on my original crown to my watch. Adam I believe his name was said they would call me back in a couple of hours for the quote. They never called me back so I called February 1st & the women(Linda) on the phone said they couldn't find my watch. Then the Guy(older guy) on the phone told me I need to prove I even dropped off a watch. So then they found it & I came in on February 3rd for a quote from a different worker. (Adam) told me it would be $50 for the stem being replaced. I agreed to it shook his had & got a ticket with it explaining "stem & crown only." He said it should be done in two weeks. So fast forward 4 weeks I never got a call, so I called them & they told me it was going to cost $225 for the complete service & over haul. I told the older guy & Linda "No I only want the stem fixed and to keep the original crown." So they said ok give us another week. We'll fast forward to week six, still no call so I called them up. Adam told me the second & minute hands were broke & they need fixed/replaced. I was really frustrated because when I dropped the watch off the hands were original & perfectly fine. So now we're coming up on week seven still no update so I call again & Lance told me the hands were out of line they need more time & it will be an additional cost for something i never agreed to & they messed up. So at this point I went up there they still made me pay more than what I agreed to "$50" they made me pay $75 because they "completely restored" & Craig said "does $75 work for you, can you afford that?" Then they both looked at each other & chuckled. Even though I never agreed to that. The watch now does not have the original crown that they lost & also has a very short replacement seconds hand that looks horrible. The watch "repair" guy Lance told me "next time I should call up the store & be more specific so I don't waste his time." When I've called multiple times being very specific. This store is full of workers that make excuses, scam, overcharge & take advantage of people that don't understand. They proceeded to tell me I was in the wrong & that I agreed to a complete overhaul restoration & service. I told them I never signed anything for $200+ dollars and my receipt say stem & crown only. Then Lance & Craig laughed & said we would never have you sign anything for that watch. I was in shock because I've done a lot of business here & have always been very polite & patient. Hell I've even tipped some of the guys in the past. They made me feel horrible for there mistakes. Now my watch is not original & I was over charged just not as much as they wanted to overcharge me. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!! read more

I took my mantal clock to , Brennan clock repair in Allen Park ,MI. for a tune up ( clock was working ,but loosing time slowly ) . They charged me $350.00 and the clock didn't run any better ,it actually was worse than before . They claimed they replaced the three winding springs and had to send away to Germany for the parts,when in fact all they did was remove the old hardened grease and replaced it with new grease . They did replace some of the bushings . They took advantage of my lack of knowledge of clocks . I took my clock to them on the advice of a neighbor ,who I found out later , were related to one of the employees . Just beware ,don't be taken in like me . read more

I took my grandfathers watch to these people on April 1, 2021.they reviewed the works and told me the problem To repair they gave me a price of $250 with a wait of 3 to 4 weeks. I agreed. After 4 weeks I called and was told the parts had not come in so delay another two weeks. At 4 weeks I got the same answer,another delay. On May 21, I called again and they told me the parts were in and they would proceed. May 25 they tell me the parts they ordered do not FIT! Apparently they do not have the expertise to finish the job because they asked me to PICKUP-the watch!! with this attitude of this company I'd have no thought of using them to repair anything read more

I got a ring resized here, going up 1.5 sizes to fit a different finger. Craig explained how the ring will spin if it's too big. He resized it for me quickly, but when I picked it up, it was a hair too big still because the gem was spinning to the side just like he said it would. He resized it again for free to make sure it would fit perfectly. I appreciated that good business practice, and would definitely bring my jewelry back to Brennan to be repaired or resized in the future! Thanks Craig! read more

I called Brennans just now to ask if they could take my late husband's wedding ring and other jewelry and remake into something else. I do not want to part with any of it. The man on the phone who had an Asian accent just started laughing and said " you should just sell it, its more trouble than worth." I have been a widow for 5 years but I still don't believe that's how you address someone that has lost her spouse. I definitely will not ever be using their service if they were the last place on earth, and will also tell everyone I know how disrespectful they are. read more

I had a battery replaced on my Movado watch when I was out of the country and it still wasn't keeping good time. I called another jewelry store and they said they would have to send it out to get an estimate for repair, and that would take weeks. I brought it into Brennans, and he checked the battery and cleaned the contact points, and--no charge! My watch is working fine now, but if it does need an expensive repair in the future, I'll be bringing it back to Brennan's! read more

This was my second time visiting. Two years ago, I brought my old wedding ring in because I lost one of the gems. Craig took care of it fast, and cheap. Today I came in with the same problem with my new ring and he was still there to take care of it. Both times he was so fast and careful, and cleaned my ring for free. I don't usually love a place enough to leave a review, but I feel like these guys deserve recognition. I went out of my way to come here because I trust them. Great local watch, clock and jewelry store. It can be hard to tell if they are open or not because it's a small place and the windows appear dark driving by. But it is a great little place with helpful experts. I had my wrist watch battery replaced for around $11 and they fixed the date function and cleaned it for free. read more

Horrible. Took my wall clock to have the main spring repaired. Was quoted $140.00 and be done 4 to 6 weeks. After 7 weeks has passed I stopped by to check on it and he looked at me kinda upset and asked if I received a phone call from them and I said no I was checking on it and he huffed and said they are still waiting on the spring and will call when rdy. Well I gave him another month and went back too pick up the clock fixed or not. He said it is done and charged me $185.00 I just paid it was just happy to get back. Took it home back on Wall wind it up (didn't take to many turns like it use to fully wind it), set the clock and started the pendulum . Next day I noticed the clock stopped so I reminded started it again and waited another day. Yep the clock stop the next day. Originally it lasted for a full week now it only last barely a day. Instead of taking it back I will look for a better place that I can trust and will tell everybody to stay away from them. read more

The WORST business I have ever done business with. I took in my grandparents antique cuckoo clock to be repaired. Dropped it off in August. I was told "4 weeks". Here we are in November, I finally get the call to pick it up. As he took it off the wall, I saw that the chains were bright silver. I asked why they were silver, he said they were acid washed. So the patina was totally gone. I never asked him to do that. Then he hands me the clock... IT WASN'T MY CLOCK. I told him it wasn't mine. At this point I'm furious. I'm afraid they have given my clock to someone else. The manager comes our and says "we will try to find it". I said, there is no trying here! I want my clock. He asks me for a picture of it! I said "considering both my grandparents are deceased and all the pictures have been dispersed among the family, or may take a while! " then an Asian man comes up and points at me and says" This is your clock!! I remember!! It had a rabbit and a bird!! " yes, you read correctly. This man was telling me that I'm wrong and the clock was mine. After threatening them with the cops and a lawyer, they started looking and my clock.. My grandparents clock was laying on the floor in pieces. I know their souls don't rest in this clock, but there is heavy sentimental value in it for me. I was disgusted to see how they treated it. I took all the pieces and left. This store is a joke and these people don't give fig about their customers. read more
