It's an updated, multi-use space that repurposed the dinky 612/ Priti, but still contains the beer fridges allowing you to purchase local brews for home. The restaurant features an extensive rotating local beer selection, delicious upscale bar menu, and a fun atmosphere for family or catching up with old friends. They have TVs for sports games (especially Caps games during the season!), and board games for hire. The staff is helpful with recommendations and efficient with service. You order at the bar counter, receive a number, and a food runner brings out your meal as soon as it's prepared. I'm always shocked at how quickly the food comes and it tastes great. Beware, it's pretty intimate, so parking and tables are limited. After I got some regular yellow mustard I liked it better. The cheesesteak. It was STUFFED with meat. Like some was literally falling out. The cheese was ooey and gooey. The bread was a little too soft. And at the end it got a bit messy but I think it is because it was delivery and had time to sit on the way over to my place. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I didn't. We ordered the crab dip, classic poutine, opa cheesesteak and Moco cheesesteak along with an orange crush. The crab dip and poutine was too salty although the bread that came with the crab dip was really good. The opa cheesesteak.... Not sure what type of meat they used but there were chunks of fat in there that was not good. My fiance said the orange crush and Moco sub was ok. Can't comment much on it since I didn't try it. Excellent service! We saw the sign for cheesesteaks and were enticed to try this spot out on our road trip back home to the south. We quickly yelped and saw the good reviews. This is a place where you can eat and taste locally brewed beers. The inside is unique in that it looks like a brewery but also has tables to eat. We tried their cheesesteak sandwiches. One beef and the other chicken. They were cooked well and the fries were freshly cut fries, hot, and delicious. I liked the variety of cheesesteaks they offered. Well, I finally made it to Brew Belly and my big belly has buy-in. Went with fellow Yelper, Tom S. He's been before. In fact he was first to review - Go Tom! But I digress... Friday night. Got there at 8:45. Place was lively and busy but not crowded. Never a wait to get a beer. They had 24 or so different craft beers on tap. Many of them from local breweries. We tried a nice variety and were very happy with our selections. Shout out to Kevin, who played Jenga with the flight caddies, and Jacob who delivered my misplaced pretzel, but made up for it with a splash of milk stout. The service was friendly and excellent. It comes across that the guys working here love what they do and it makes for a good customer experience. It's worth noting that in addition to the 20+ beers on tap, they have a hundred more cold bottles and cans of all kinds of special brews. Those are available to carry off site or drink there for a corkage fee. Of course they do fill growlers. See my photos to see some of the beers we drank. My husband loves their cheeseteak, but I am ALL about that poutine. In fact, I would go so far as to say I am a poutine snob. The first time I ordered from Brew Belly I ordered a cheesesteak (which was incredible) but I also ordered a poutine. I wasn't expecting the poutine to be my dinner, but whoops! (sorry, not sorry). The poutine was PERFECT. The fries were the cooked to right texture - not soggy or floppy. They were still perfect when they arrived in White Oak for us to eat. The gravy was rich and flavorful. It was clearly not some one note dumped from a can gravy. And cheese curds... you know when cheese curds are good when they squeak when you bite into them. I'm so glad that Brew Belly came to Olney! Of course it came after I move away. The beer selection is fabulous. I got a couple flights with 7 tastings. I ordered the Route 108 cheesesteak that has bacon and fries. The bacon was chopped and well cooked. I liked that because the flavor spreads a lot better and it's easier to eat. I took one bite of this sandwich and I stared at my friend with a pause because my mouth was so happy I woke it up. It was SO GOOD! It was even better than some cheesesteaks I had in Philly! Wow, so delicious. The Boardwalk poutine was lacking in crab. We saw specks of crab, but it wasn't enough to really taste it with all that cheese. I could taste the old bay, and the crab taste was very faint and you had to focus to get it. It's there, just faint. It's open seating and if it gets crowded, you may have to share a table with others. The place was cozy with a couch on one end with a tv, and tables everywhere else. The back wall is all beer fridges of local beers. They do not have enough parking. You can park across GA Ave in the shopping center and cross the street. The parking lot was full, so I parked across the street, but when I walked into the restaurant, it was more empty than I expected. I came during the day on a weekday for lunch. read more

Walking in, there are menus on clip boards on the left and at the bar counter there is a tv displaying the menu. You can order for here or to go. My friend and I ordered for here then took a seat at the bar counter. It was pretty crowded for a Wednesday evening! And all the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The entire experience from the food to the people there felt homey and down to earth. Our food was brought to us, and we dug in. The poutine was yummy and satisfying but I wish there were more cheese curds/ smaller pieces to distribute evenly through the fries. The Seoul sub was lightly inspired by Korean food and was an overall juicy, enjoyable cheesesteak. The cucumbers really work on the sub. My friend who absolutely detests cucumbers really enjoyed it with the entire sandwich. the sub would have been even better if it had a stronger Korean influence, but I'm happy the restaurant is exploring fusing different cultures together and I hope they continue to do so! read more

Wen to brew belly because of some friends that live in the area. Walked in and was immediately surprised! This place is unlike most in the area. The seating is self serve. They have table tops and some sit down tables. The table tops are perfect for hanging out and having a brew. They have some games such a as sock and bop em playing cards connect 4 (those are the ones I saw). The food was amazing! I got the philly steak "route 108" and the "blind pig" poutine fries. Both were something different than most places! The gravy on the fries was delicious! The beer let me not get started on the beer. They have a menu of craft beer from the area only! (Like 1 or 2 aren't) it was awesome to see a place embrace the craft beer scene for Maryland. Some chain restaurants in the area try to get local beer but it's next to impossible to find good Maryland beer. They have a fridge full of Maryland craft beers and other craft beers. The best part you can buy from the fridge and have them pour it right in front of you to consume it. The beer on tap they let you try before you buy as well. Came with a group of Mom friends last night, 7:45-10 pm. Had no issues finding parking. I think Brew Belly is really on to something with their restaurant concept. Think "fast casual" on steroids. You come in, and can peruse their beer/wine/soda coolers for a purchase to take home, or pay a corkage fee to consume on site. The fee is not a big deal, given how much many other restaurants overcharge for glasses of wine, etc. You can also order various sizes of the beer they have on tap behind counter. I would suggest downloading the app in advance, so you can feel less rushed perusing your options. At this same counter, you can place food orders and they give you a marker for your table. I was shocked at how quickly our food was delivered. As someone who really likes to relax when I am out, but gets anxious/annoyed when service is bad, I enjoyed this setting. They had staff constantly checking to clear glasses/dishes/trash, but if you wanted something you could get it yourself, including lemon infused water for people to self-hydrate, located at a central location. The employees, all very kind, were equally disappointed when I wanted to order a crowler to go, and the keg kicked. :o( they started giving me suggestions of where ELSE I could find that delicious liquid gold, and I told them I was happy to wait a day or two and return when they had restocked. We stopped in after the Sandy Spring Museum Strawberry Festival. It's a small parking lot, but they have a deal with a neighboring bank, so there is much more parking than you think. Walked in the door and we we were greeted right away. To the right was the bar, and to turn left was a rack of clipboards with the menu on them. Having never been there, we grabbed menus and went to the bar. The young lady at the bar was great, she answered questions and offered samples. After a couple tastes we decided on drinks (they have beer, wine, and mixed drinks) and looked at the menu. That done, we started on the food menu. We have one vegetarian and one meatatarian, so it is often difficult for us to both to be happy with the food selections. Steak sandwich was really good, nice and full, and three one I got had feta and tzatziki. It was cool to see a fresh take on the steak and cheese. Veggie sub was, "Amazing" and had become something we go back for. Fries were very good too, and that stupid huge pretzel.... We love Brew Belly! The poutine is by far the best in the area. The prices for drinks are incredible. We have been several times now and have not been disappointed. We met friends there this past weekend and we both had babies in strollers and they were incredibly accommodating. This time we finally had the giant pretzel I'd been spying our last few visits, the crab gravy was an excellent addition to it. I especially liked their boardwalk style fries. One of the best boardwalk fries I've had outside of Thrashers. I liked the long table seating style for a casual experience. Excellent concept for Olney! Especially for the younger community who wants to expand away from drinking/watching sports at the Greene Turtle. Love that the beer is primarily local. The service is great and everyone is super enthusiastic. The space is somewhat awkward, but I can tell they did the best they could given the layout of the building. The parking is also tight and difficult which is frustrating. The food is generally good. The big pretzel with beer cheese is good. Brussel sprouts are pretty good as well. Not a fan, however, of the cheese/meat tray. The meats did not taste good at all and it definitely needed to be washed back with beer for me to stomach that dish. Seating definitely is a challenge, especially if you're in a bigger group. But, people coming in/people leaving was consistent. There aren't too many spots, so you may have to park in other shopping lots and walk over. The overall aesthetics of the place is nice. It has a bar feel. I ordered the soup of the day with the grilled cheese. I love, love, love grilled cheese but this just wasn't good. The soup of the day was french onion, and it had way too many onions in it. And, both items were cold :( I also wanted the cheese on the grilled cheese to be more melted but it was so thick. Came across Brew Belly after seeing the headline in the Washington Post and had to try it out - apparently so did everyone else. My husband and I went there on a Saturday night and were not prepared for the crowd - so many people! We ended up crashing a group of girls having a night out just so we could have a corner of a table to put our food and drinks on. The cheesesteaks were pretty delicious and worth the crowd. I think it could've used just a bit more cheese. They also had a great beer selection. And they had so much beer in the coolers! For being so busy inside, parking wasn't too bad. Went to Brew Belly on my way home from BWI. Living up in Clarksburg, I don't get many chances to eat here. Ordered the Wiz Wit, some fries, a DIPA crowler, and an Aslin IPA. The cheesesteak was so great. Definitely a lot like Pat's in Philly. Lots of cheese and caramelized onions. The fries were perfect. The DIPA was honestly one of the best beers I have ever had and the Aslin was great too. I will be back. Wish there was another one close by. read more

Good lively place to hang out and grab a drink. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded, most seats taken but we were able find a couple chairs. I tried a beer flight and I'm not a big beer drinker but the bartenders were very friendly! They gave me recommendations and I loved all the beers they recommended. The guava one was my favorite! Also there's other alcohol available. There's wine and whiskey flights. And a crush special. My sister tried the lemon crush which was wayyy to sour. Don't get it. Look, I've only had a real Philly cheese steak once, so take that as it is, but these cheesesteaks are great. Meat is seasoned well and whatever toppings I've ordered have always been great. Had their chicken cheesesteak which is more of a chunk chicken which wasn't my favorite, but was still very good. Fried cheese curds are great and the tiger sauce is a nice break up of the fat. Summer I got a shrimp po boy from the trailer outside and it was fantastic. Beer selection speaks for itself. Super amazing local selection. Great mixed bags for a reasonable price.
